I bought a number of appliances from Home Depot in May to put in my new home. Did you know that they DO NOT install countertop ranges? That is the same with Lowe's. And they are both SO expensive when they don't have free installations. And even if their installation is free, they have SOOO many requirements as to what the purchaser has to do to get it delivered and installed!! So I called Nick at Xtreme Installation, since I have used his service for the last ten years. As usual, he was reasonably priced, but even more importantly, I knew I could trust how he would be making sure that the appliance was handled with care (not one scratch), properly installed (not tilted and totally level) and that he would clean up in a manner that would make it look like the appliance had been there all along!! And that is exactly what I got! I have been really disappointed hiring different vendors with them being sloppy on the job and leaving a mess for me to clean up...all while charging me an outrageous sum!! It can be intimidating trying to find someone. Nick responded my inquiry very fast and set up the same day service to install my new countertop range hood with very reasonable price quote! I called to have a new over the range microwave and a dishwasher installed. Their price quote was competitive and they informed me that I could get it done the same day. Within 2 hours, Nick had arrived and was right at work. He was very thorough and obviously has been doing this for a long time. He was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job on installing both. I then inquired if he knew anyone that could reposition a gas line behind my new stove, so the stove would fit flush against the wall. He advised me he could do that as well. He had all the parts and materials needed, on his truck and knocked out that job like it was nothing. When he completed the job, he broke out his stainless cleaner and cleaned all of my appliances, vacuumed up some dust left behind and then took away all of the old appliances and the empty boxes. It's very difficult to write a review on a company who you end up not using. Let me say the basis of this review is on professionalism and respect of time. I had an install scheduled for Tuesday. On that day I contacted a plumber to come around the same time so that a multitude of things could take place. The job for this company was to swap out appliances from another house. The plumber was to handle the ice line while the swap took place and on Saturday, I scheduled the big move would happen with furniture and boxes. I get a call the day Monday evening, saying Tuesday may not be a good day and asked how Saturday/Sunday looked. Those were bad days because I had a big move. I asked why Tuesday was an issue and was told that they don't see their schedule until the day of or day before which makes me wonder how they can schedule times in advance!? I was told they would make a best effort for Tuesday at the respected time. The next day (Tues) I had not heard anything and we're a few hours out before the job was to take place. I have everything setup on my side..I call and was told that today (Tuesday) couldn't happen. I called them to find this out, they did NOT reach out to me. This shows a lack of respect for time and comes off very unprofessional, especially when I had a plumber coming out at that time. They said they could do a night move at 8pm. I accepted and cancelled after finding another company. I cancelled them at 8pm because who knows if they would have shown based on their reliability at this point. Another ding on communication is that their voicemail is full, so text or email is the best way to communicate with them unless they answer their phone. Good stuff, huh? So why two stars and not one? They did out beat their competitors quotes at $1150 to swap out appliances so for beating out the other players I'll leave them with two stars and warn others to have an 'xtreme' amount of flexibility if chosing this company to assist with a job. read more

Nick and his helper installed a 27" combo wall oven microwave. It was an amazingly worry-free experience. I hired them because of 5 star reviews, and prices were upfront and reasonable. And because I was done paying for installation from whomever the big box stores happen to send on the delivery truck. No more, after the 2 guys from Best Buy installed my new washer, but crushed the dryer vent pipe and drove off without even getting my signature. Xtreme Installation, on the other hand, knows what they are doing! They handled everything. We had the new oven/microwave delivered & sitting in our garage. Nick removed the old one & disposed of it no charge. Built up the cabinet floor to accommodate the new shorter oven combo for a very reasonable price. Gave me the name of a company that will make a matching stainless steel panel to fill the extra space, so we don't need to re-do any cabinetry or try to match wood stains.
