We used My Appliance Guy to do a propane conversion on our new LG dryer. Kayla responded quickly to my request through yelp, offered a great price and options for scheduling. We were able to sort this all out over the weekend for a Tuesday appointment. On the day of service, our technician, Nick, gave us a call to let us know he was on the way, and once he arrived he quickly did the conversion and got everything sorted out. He answered several questions I had about the conversion process and was very knowledgable about the type of dryer we had and was able to provide some great information about these LG products. Overall this was an outstanding experience--our dryer works great--and we got a great deal. I can't recommend this company enough--just outstanding from start to finish. read more

I have to say, after all the apathy, inconsistency, unreliability and downright incompetence I've found in service people in this town concerning landscapers any type of repair, plumbers, electricians, pool maintenance, etc. Kayla and Nick break that mold. Seriously, if you need an appliance repair My Appliance Guy is who you call first. Prompt, personal and efficient. Our older 4door fridge started singing one night. I started pricing a replacement, wife sees My Appliance Guy on Yelp so we call. Nick showed up on time, diagnosed the issue, gave us a quick fix to hold us over a few days until the replacement part arrived and, again showed up on time and did a repair for 10% of the cost of a new fridge. I requested an appointment for a technician to come out and diagnose the problem with my Frigidaire oven turning off during cooking time. Kayla promptly got back to me to set up the appointment. Nick came out, and within minutes, was able to tell me it was the control board. He ordered the parts, and Kayla set up the final appointment when the parts came in. My son accidentally broke the glass in our double oven. Sears came out (after a two week wait for an appointment) and said the part wasn't available and that the glass could not be made. We were looking at having to replace the whole oven for a piece of glass (well over $2000). I reached out to Yelp and My Appliance Guy responded in minutes, saying that they would look for the part (Sears gave me the part number...which ended up being the wrong part number) or make the glass. They found the part in minutes (the last one available in the nation happened to be in Las Vegas) and installed the next day! Nicholas was very professional and personable during the install. The office answered the phone (with a real person to talk to!!), and returned our calls and emails when we had questions about our refrigerator. Also, scheduling was a challenge because we don't live in Vegas full time. They worked with us to make sure we were locked in for an appointment while we were in town. I called looking for service with my SubZero refrigerator. The person that answered their phone was very professional and said she thought she could get someone out that same day. She put me on a short hold and checked with her service persons, then let me know that someone could come out in an hour. They texted 30 minutes before arrival and were on time. From my experience, that's usually the hardest part of hiring a repairman. The service person was able to troubleshoot an then fix my refrigerator within 15 minutes. While he was there I asked if I could show him another problem (that I was living with) with my Viking Range. He spent about 15 mins. troubleshooting and figured out the parts needed to fix 2 small problems, gave me a quote and then ordered the parts. I found him to be really professional, am happy to have my refrigerator working well and look forward to my parts arriving and my repairs on my range to be fixed. I would refer this company to friends. read more

My freezer stopped working last night, so early in the morning I started searching for service quotes on Yelp. Nicholas from My Appliance Guy was the first to respond. He got some basic information from me about the problem with the freezer and then set up an appointment with me 8am. He arrived on time and completed an assessment which determined that the evaporator fan was broken. He left to pick up the part and came back promptly and replaced it. So far the freezer and fridge seem to be operating well, but Nicholas assured me that if there are any issues he would come back and take another look. Based on some of the quotes I got from other companies, My Appliance guy was reasonably priced. Hopefully I won't have any more appliance issues, but if I do I will certainly give Nicholas a call. read more

Wow!!! I see why they have such great reviews!!! I reached out to them and got a response within an hour, EARLY in the morning. And had someone at my house a few short hours later. They were super nice, on time, and solved my problem in under an hour. I was especially touched to know that it is a family-owned business. One of the owners came out to help me because his technician was going to the hospital to have a baby! Sooo precious. The price was good, too. My new home had an old washing machine hose stuck to the cold water spigot. I wasn't able to get it off myself, so I reached out for help. Scheduling an appointment for same day was quick and easy, and someone was dispatched quickly. Nick Poma, was the guy who came out and managed to pry the hose off, and corrected an issue with the spigot that I wasn't even aware of. The price was affordable even with the the extra labor that had to go into it. The whole process was completed quickly and efficiently. Nick came out and diagnosed / fixed the problem...which ended up being a loose bracket used to secure the compressor. Glad to find out the compressor isn't failing at this point.
