Seems like a great store. I knew what I wanted when I went but they really didn't seem interested in discussing options or add ons. Most seemed like good guys but they didn't seem interested in interacting with the customers. I felt as if I was a bother rather than a customer at times. They could have sold me hundreds of dollars of upgrades to my project but but instead I walked out with just what I came for and purchased my upgrades online. Still a good shop. I was looking for a strip lower for an ar-15 rifle because they are hard to find nowadays. Called elite armory and found out they have them but would not give me the price on the phone. I had to drive all the way to their store to find out that there strip lowers were selling for $385 what.. sound like a rip of to me. A week later I diligently search the net and ordered a strip lower from palmetto state armory which sells for $119 same mil spec quality as the one they have. $385 vs $119 do the math. Bottom line, do your homework before going to elite armory. read more

Best gun shop in the east bay. These three guys are great, customer service is number 1. Bought something on Saturday, it went on sale on Tuesday and they were offering to do a price adjustment for me before I could even ask about it. I met somebody there to do a PPT and ended up buying several consignment firearms and a new rifle. The guys there are friendly and very helpful. They have a great selection of new and consignment firearms. If I lived closer, I would be a regular customer. As it is, anytime I need to do a PPT in that area, I will go there. Had a great experience here. The guns here are great though limited...is pretty cheap compared to the likes of guns fishing and other stuff and bass pro. I bought a laser sight for my 22 rifle that didn't fit and had to return it. The guy waived the 10% restocking fee for me which was pretty awesome. The guys here are super helpful. It's a pretty small shop, with a decent selection of fire arms. I had dropped by to see if they had a certain handgun. They did. I asked 1000 questions, and even though they knew I was not going to buy, they graciously answered all of my questions and showed me every gun under the sun that I wanted to see. I met my love here; a 1911 Kimber. My boyfriend decided to snag her right up, so that ship has sailed. read more

Great shop very cool and knowledgeable guys prices are about where they should be they don't try and gouge you gave it a 4star due to the quality of their guns I bought an ak here and it had surface rust all over it not too bad just wiped it off and it was good recently bought a glock 19 and noticed the same thing on the outside of the barrel and the finish on the slide was kinda iffy for a "new" gun will update when I pick up on the 4th read more

Went in to check out Elite Armory today and the hype is real. Great customer service. The clerk was friendly, helpful, and professional. The shop is a bit small but they make good use of their space. Saw a few hard to find handguns and long rifles. If I didn't just purchase a gun a couple weeks ago I would had walked out with a new toy. Prices are decent too. Completely new to the gun world, I came into Elite Armory because a friend had recommended me. I've been to a few other guns shops but none compared to the quality of service that you get at elite! Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable. I was planning on purchasing just a lower from them to start a build but since I'm only 19, California restricts anyone under 21 to purchase an AR15 lower. So I decided to purchase an Anderson AM15 from them. All the employees here are very patient and you can really tell they have a passion for what they do. This is now my go to gun shop! For a shop with a small footprint, they have a very extensive selection of very good firearms. The staff are also extremely knowledgeable and friendly while being efficient. Fastest private transfer I've ever done! For a first timer thinking about whether a firearm is right for them, this place is the one to go to. I'll definitely be shopping there again! read more

Checked out a couple of East Bay gun shops. I stopped into Elite Armory. I talked with 2 counter guys, the older one greeted me and was cool and very knowledgeable. The tall one I'll call Gomer Pyle was not so knowledgeable and came across a an ass clown, dweeb. You know the kind that thinks you don't know anything but he does. The store is clean but very small. They have a decent selection of handguns, not many rifles or shotguns though. Not much in the way of accessories either. The small store size limits what they have on hand. They have a decent amount of overpriced ammo in the counter. I asked about a few specific items they did not have and they said they could order me whatever, but everyone says that. I'll do it online thank you. Then it got bad. They have this little dog that runs around all over the store. A guy walks in and in a couple of minutes this little dog begins humping his 3 or 4 year old child. The older counter guy tried to break it up and apologizes for the dog. But less than a minute later this dog starts humping the kid again. When the dog started humping for the third time I walked out totally disgusted. What a no class joint. I will not be back. That same day I also visited Guns, Fishing & Other Stuff in Dubiln. Huge store with good counter people and a large selection of handguns, rifles, ammo and accessories. Of all the gun shops in the Bay Area I've been to Elite Armory is by far the best. The customer service is leagues better as well. The staff is knowledgeable and go out of their way to help you. Great service and very knowledgeable. Store is small but they have a pretty good selection. They have a number system which I think is great. Get there and pull a number and wait for your turn. Once it is your turn, they do not rush you. I purchased an AR-15 and a 9mm Glock. Can't wait to pick them up once my 10 days are up. read more

Came in today to make my first ever purchase. I already own a gun but never got the experience of making a purchase. Went in thinking I would need a lot experience but you really don't. Just make sure to have your questions ready because they can get busy. Lots of different handguns to choose from. I bought a Smith and Wesson M&P9 Shield, no issues now just waiting the cool down period. Everyone in the shop is super friendly and willing to help. Will come back again for sure. read more

This place took over the old Andreotti Firearms location. They still do not have their FFL, so your shopping will be restricted to ammunition or accessories, but I hear this will change within the next couple of weeks. Generally clean and well lit, but nothing to look at since they can't sell firearms yet and have nothing but assault rifle gear in stock at the moment. Employees seemed nice and informative. Small but very clean and well stocked store in convenient castro valley area. Staff was very informative and helpful both on phone and in store. They seem to have very good personal service and appear to be a safe and friendly place to buy and get firearms serviced. Their prices were near MSRP but they did have stock. This is the best place to go if you are new to guns. Gabriel was very courteous and helpful every step of the way. I happened to walk into Elite Armory on a not so busy day, and was immediately helped by Gabriel. As someone who is new to guns, and in his mid 20s, I was afraid to be scolded by my rookie questions and looks. Gabriel answered every question that I had, and all without any pressure to buy. He took his time and answered my questions in a very polite manner. I didn't buy anything that day, but I did come back and got my gun permit, as well as purchased my first handgun here. The entire staff is friendly and willing to answer any question that you have. They are all very knowledgeable, and know their products very well. Although their store is fairly small, it is well stocked with handguns, long guns, and accessories. They range in price, so there should be something for anyone(assuming you hold the proper permit). They also have a small selection of pre-used handguns to choose from. Without any doubt, I would highly recommend Elite Armory to anyone. It's hard to find a place like this. I'm bringing my brother in this weekend so that he can make his first purchase here as well. read more
