This review will be shared across multiple platforms, including Google and Yelp. I brought my vehicle in for an estimate on May 4 and returned for repairs on May 7. Throughout the process, I worked with Michael, who was excellent to deal with. While his attire was somewhat casual, his professionalism, communication, and overall attitude more than made up for it. He kept me informed during both the estimate and repair stages and was always responsive when I called for updates. When I picked up my vehicle, I was very impressed with the quality of the repair work. The damage was no longer visible, and everything initially appeared to be in great condition. I completed the paperwork and prepared to leave. However, as I was about to drive away, I noticed in my rearview mirror that the rear passenger overhead light was hanging from the headliner. I immediately returned to the office, and Michael addressed the issue right away. He apologized and ensured it was fixed before I left. The following day, while organizing items in my vehicle, I discovered an additional issue: the antenna was missing, and the antenna housing was damaged. Based on the condition, it appeared the damage may have occurred during the courtesy cleaning process. Since it was the weekend, I contacted the shop first thing Monday morning and left a message for Michael. He returned my call promptly, took responsibility for the situation, and assured me that the necessary repairs would be completed once the replacement part arrives. I appreciate the prompt response and willingness to correct the issue. That said, these types of problems should ideally be prevented altogether. I hope that extra care will be taken during courtesy services in the future to avoid similar situations. read more

First of all, my experience with CC was top notch from even the first stage which was scheduling! They opened as early as 7:30am! I can always tell a company is about business when they open before 9am lol. I was greeted by friendly staff at the door and they explained the entire process to me and I knew exactly what to expect. The receptionists were kind and patient as I saw them interact with another customer before me where there was a language barrier. They were nice to her and took their time as she was struggling to get the proper words to describe her needs. Surprisingly, Enterprise Rent - A - Car was actually located in the building and collected me from the lobby and let me know my rental was waiting for me! She explained the rental deposit procedure and quickly showed me to my car and even offered to show me how to use different features of the car! Within 48 hours, the claim results, delivery date for my parts, and eta on completion was all provided by my personal care coordinator Brendan! Literally within 2 days! Brendan was kind, patient, and actually understood what was happening from the insurance side of the matter as well! He let me know that my car might be ready within 48 hours and it was actually done in 24! So from drop off to claim filing to the completed repair, it was all done in 4 days! As a licensed insurance agent that was record time! I was so floored by the amazing customer service I received at Classic Collision that I just HAVE to recommend them for all your car care needs. Quite the disappointment...scheduled appt to estimate body damage on my classic 1985 El Camino. I was on time but had to wait 30 min. The estimater came out & got the vin. He said the car might be to old to do an estimate. He checked computer & came back said he can't do an estimate. Should have told me that at the time I scheduled. My time & 3 gallons of gas were wasted. Don't let the name fool you. Classic Collison doesn't repair classic cars. I got bad vibes when I walked in. Person at desk was talking to another employee & didn't acknowledge I was there. I'll never give them a chance to disappointment again. I will never recommend this this shop to anyone. read more

My brand new Jeep wasn't even in my possession for a year when a cray lunatic hit her! Thankfully Nationwide insurance recommended Elite Auto Body and i must be honest, I'm impressed. I hate dealing with auto body shops because my past experiences has been less than so receiving superb service from Elite Auto Body has restored my faith and trust! They kept me well informed on the repairs and had a rental car company (Enterprise) in house so everything was so convenient. My first appointment I was able to get an estimate, drop off, and get the rental keys in my hand so this was the fastest process I've ever encountered. After my repairs were all done they also automatically offered me a lifetime warranty on the repairs for free! read more

I had to update my review as I never had a problem with Elite until now. I dropped my car off for back end damage on 9/27 it is now 11/7 and I still don't have my car back. I was given 6 estimated complete dates but it's never completed. I've been without a rental for the last 3 weeks and the lack of a car is now interfering with my work. Its more than an inconvenience for an accident that was not my fault. I'm at the point now where it might be easier to buy another car. I understand supply shortages but I get a text saying my car was going into paint on Oct 4th then my car was going into paint again on Nov 1st. So which is it? I've notified my claims adjuster with Geico and quite frankly may even change insurance companies now. I'm about to make a second car payment and insurance on a car I can't drive. Right now, I've stopped communicating via text with them, I just want a call saying my car is done. read more

This issue I had with this place without getting into my actual feelings are they have a person there named Gabe. His job is to update you on when your car is ready or roughly an estimate. This individual has called me roughly every week and told me my car would be ready by the end of the week of the day he called me. It's been nearly two months and I still don't have my car, I wouldn't be upset if I wasn't called every week saying my car would be ready then with excuses when it's not. Today I was told my car would be ready and went. Just to be told it would be ready Monday now... it's getting out of hand and I am currently looking for a manager.. if Gabe reads this he knows exactly who this is and knows I'm 1000% correct. Horrible communication. I was told my vehicle would be ready on two separate dates, called today and they said they were waiting on a screenshot from my insurance. The second time they told me a later date I asked if they could give me a heads up on the vehicle if there were any other events that could delay the completion of my vehicle. The day of my appointment I arrived only for the workers to turn me away saying there was no one available to look over my car. If you want a quality, Superior and definitely an Elite repair service done on your vehicle. This place is absolutely 100% the best in town. Maybe even the best in the business. The quality and care they showed to my car was beyond phenomenal. I drive a 2017 Hyundai Elantra and they treated me like I drove a brand new Bentley or something. The experience from start to finish exceeded my expectations. My mind is truly blown. This place seriously shocked me. Not that I thought they would do bad. But as a consumer I truly believe the happiness of the customer is in the minor details. The employees were so professional and always readily available when I walked in/phone calls. They have an enterprise on site. They have plenty of employees available which is nice. Each person knows exactly what their job is and they get it done. I even had a special request. I went in on a Thursday and they weren't available Friday and closed on the weekend so I had to come back Monday but my tire had minor damage but they pumped it up and blocked the hole long enough so I didn't have to pay for the rental until it was actually in their shop. (That's Nationwide's rule) not theirs. I would highly recommend this place even if your not going through insurance. They will exceed your expectations. Really. This is probably the fastest I ever experience when it comes to dropping car off for evaluation and pick up rental at the same time all in less than 15 minutes, I didn't even finished my coffee. I picked my car up on Friday, the repair itself seems ok. A little bit after leaving the shop I looked through my mirror to notice that my windshield "Old Dominion University" sticker was gone. I am 110% certain that when I dropped the car off there earlier this week the sticker was there. I left a voicemail and still have not received any word on why their workers removed my sticker. The work that was done on the car was on the front bumper, and had nothing to do with the windshield. I have never seen such lack of professionalism and this will be my first and last time here. read more

I took my car in on Tuesday, and was told it would be ready on Friday. One day early, which was really great for me. I picked my car up and it looked great! I had asked about buffing out some light scratches and they just did it without charging me. My car was cleaned and washed when I arrived. I knew just by seeing the cleanliness of the bay, they would be take care of my car. When doing the walk around I pointed out a spot I had asked about earlier to be fixed on my dollar. I went to Elite Auto Body to get an estimate on the repairs to my car. They say that they couldn't pay me because I have a lien on the title. I have gone to other places to whereas I got paid for the damages to my car and didn't have to pay a deductible. This time, I was misled because first the $500.00 was on the estimate as an adjustment and a deductible with the "adjustments" highlighted, so I had to pay the deductible to retrieve my car. When I got there, the lady showed me that parts that they fixed, which was fine well and good. When I got home, I realized that one of my license plates were missing, then I realized that my some of my change was gone out of my driver's side ashtray on the left side of the steering wheel. I would not recommend this shop to anyone because they steal stuff out of your car and won't admit it. I did not walk out of that building with a smile. I was so very upset because I know that I won't be reimbursed for the change that someone stole from me. Once again, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Before you go there, please email, text, or Facebook. Elite Auto Body is a RIPOFF!!! One more thing I forgot to add.....I had a hubcap on my front driver's side tire and both my passenger's side tires. How the driver's side hubcap ended up on the rear tire is beyond me, especially when the driver's side did NOT have to be worked on in any way, form or fashion. I hope that whomever reads this review will think twice before rearranging and stealing from your vehicle. Nothing in there belonged to you and you had no business on the driver's side of my car especially when it was the passenger's side that needed fixing. For whatever reason, this shows as San Francisco. It is not. This is NORFOLK, Va. One of the most disappointing displays I have ever seen of poor customer service. I should have known from the start...in January, I waited over an hour for an estimate on a simple repair, but I will give them a few points for getting me the check for repairs on the spot. I could not leave the car that day, and said I would call back to set an appointment. I did exactly that. Called Monday Feb. 5 to set up an appointment for later in the week, and reminded them that I would need a rental car. The person at the front desk said I would need to call "Enterprise" and gave me a number. I called Enterprise, and they were surprised--said "Nope, Elite will handle that reservation when your repair is set up". Called back to Elite. This person seemed to have a clue and once I told her what I'd just been through, she came back on the line and said "You are all set. I have your appointment for your car at 8:30 on Wednesday and I have your reservation for a rental car. Everything will be ready". I show up Wednesday prior to 8:30am and it took 10 minutes for any response at the front desk, despite seeming scores of people (employees) milling around. Finally, someone asked me for the key to my car so she could move it indoors. Another person asked me finally to fill out a document. That took me about 40 seconds. In the meantime the front desk was once again completely emptied out. Not a soul. After another 15 minutes, a young lady finally comes and asks me if I need a rental car. "Yes", I said. "Let me check", she says, "We've been running low on rental cars". I said, "There should be no running low, since I made my reservation for this on Monday." Without further comment, she disappeared. The endless milling around of workers without purpose continued. The young lady who was "checking" on the rental car never reappeared. After over 45 minutes of total waiting time, and still no one back at the front desk, but tons of people still aimlessly wandering around the shop, I headed into the shop and quickly found the young lady who was "checking" on the car. Her response was, "Oh, you'll need to check with Abigail". "Who's that?", I ask. "the Enterprise person", she says. I asked where, and the young lady pointed a lazy finger toward an office. I headed that way. No Abigail. No one at all. I go back to the young lady and a young man and asked what I was supposed to do now, since i needed to be at work. Shrugs. Great. "Who's the manager?". "Miss Laura", I'm told. Another lazy point suggests it is a young lady in the middle of the shop. I approach. Laura is indeed the manager. I tell her my dilemma. She is clearly disinterested and finally manages, "I'm sorry". NEVER an offer to try and solve the problem. I tell her I am taking my car and going elsewhere. Doesn't faze her...she shrugs again and offers the same useless comment, "I'm sorry." Again, NEVER bothers to try and fix the issue. There were at least 5 other people still waiting for cars as well, and some had arrived when I did or shortly after. I left. Called GEICO, as this is a GEICO approved shop. GEICO person was very pleasant, very sympathetic, says she will let Todd, the regional manager, know. To date, have heard nothing at all. This was a simple repair...caused by a GEICO customer who did not pay attention...and it is clear that once GEICO processed the claim and wrote me a check, they had ZERO interest in making things work out. Stay far, far away from this shop. Their work may be fine, if you can ever get the arrangements made...I have no way to evaluate what their work is like. But their customer service is at the very bottom of the barrel, and is completely unacceptable. GEICO's response to the issue so far is unacceptable as well. read more

This is the third vehicle that my family has had in elite auto body for repairs through Geico. The first was OK - had to have them re-paint the hood of our BMW. The second was better-replacing and repainting the rear bumper on our Nissan. The latest one was a door repair on our F - 150; when I can see the outline of the repair With no sunlight on a black truck in there is an issue with the repair. Insurance payments and Virginia are high enough without having half assed repairs done on your vehicle. read more

I am very particular on who fixes my car. The Acura online dealership recommended 5 places for autobody repair and when I looked them up through reviews including the BBB, I was shocked at how bad all of them were. So being this is my first experience in this area with body repair work I chose Elite (THIS LOCATION ONLY) and they are not only honest (something happened w a piece to my car and they called me rather than hiding it and just fixing it) and the job despite Geico being a real pain and not doing their part (like calling me and telling me my car was ready when it wasn't and I drove all the way down there!, then not calling the rental company or the shop to tell them I would have an extended rental, etc & the lists continues) (Howe the agent was in training and honestly nice so being firm with him was hard! But he will get there!:)) they are great and if something is wrong they will fix it immediately along with cleaning your car inside and out before you get it back! Beware of these guys!! They are the same crooks that ran the same shop under the name Premo Autobody. You will hear nothing but lies from Anthony and George! I was screwed out of 4 grand from these crooks. Im not the only guy that got screwed. There is many many more with the same story as mine that lost way more than i did. Trust me we all met each other in court when we had to go prove that our cars and parts were ours! When I got approval by the judge I was allowed to go to the storage unit and recover some of my parts. All of my brand new sheetmetal got damaged and everyones chrome trim was in a pile mixed up. I had no clue what chrome trim was mine. My car was supposed to take 3 months to do, it sat completley stripped down for 2 years. They would tell me to spend all this money on parts but never installed a thing! Only thing they did was let me work on the car there and George cut the quarters off. I hope that they both read this review. Everyone should BEWARE of these guys. At one point in time George was one of the best painters in Charlottesville, thats why I trusted him with my car and money. He has done me huge favors in the past and I cant take that from him. But that was 20 years ago and things are different now. I gave them ample time to make payments but they never would do it. I think he gave my wife 200 bucks and never answered the phone again. I just think its funny that these guys can go bankrupt and not be responsible to those who lost out on 100s of thousands of hard earned dollars. All of this review is 100% FACTS. On the plus side, everyone is very friendly, there's an Enterprise on site, and a Geico rep. so it's a smooth process. Unfortunately, my repair was pretty unsatisfactory. They did get a dent out, but the paint job is rough with scratches. Brought it back in, they "buffed it out" and tried to tell it was fine. No, it's still a totally unsatisfactory job and not smooth at all. Told a rep would call me to schedule an appointment--still hasn't happened. What should've been a quick and minor repair has now turned into a 4 week ordeal. And I'm concerned that a Geico rep and technican signed off on my repair--how did they not see or feel the poor curing and paint job?! read more

I have a 2017 Ford F-250 truck which has the new aluminum truck bed. Geico requested me to bring my truck there for the accident I was involved in, huge mistake that was. They claimed to be qualified to do the job correctly as they stated when I dropped my truck off. However, a week later they called me to come get my truck it was ready, furthermore when I went to get my truck I was disappointed and shocked at how bad of a job they did and everything they did looked like a trainee performed the work. They used the wrong pop-rivots needed to replace 1 side of the truck bed, wrong color paint(it didn't match the original color), they claimed they put a new rear bumper which they didn't, all the plastic trim pieces that go around the trim of the truck were barely popped back on and some pieces were damaged as they took them on/off and they left the cracked step-pad that goes on the bumper on the bumper. So the bottom line is everything they did was wrong, no quality at all. Looks like a kid at VoTech did the work. With that being said when you do business with them you are dealing with all young inexperienced employees. They gave me the uncomfortable feeling as I was getting my truck worked on, it was a bad experience that I will never do again. Also there was a bolt in my tire shop which they claimed I ran it over prior to bringing my truck to them, they have a body shop, I'm sure it was picked up in there gated property where every car there is wrecked and bolts and screws all over the property. Little did they know my father owns a tire shop if that was the case I would have put 4 new tires on my truck. They were quick to blame me for that. DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THEM, you will not be happy with the result. Worst of all is that I have a 2017, brand new truck practically, and they really worked on it and treated it as if it were a 1997. With no consideration and no actual care for what kind of work they were giving out, once I seen all they did wrong I had no choice other than this to let others know how they take advantage of the situation. But after my talk with the Geico supervisor seems to me they won't have many more opportunities to take advantage of anyone from Geico. Doesn't pay off to do shady work, and the whole time there is a kid employed there, trying to explain to me how they followed what Ford told them to do and used the correct tools and can only replace and do what Geico tells them. Which is all wrong and false, it must sound good to them but I know better. Brand new truck with 1/4 pop-rivots sticking out where you can walk up to the truck and see them. You should'nt be able to see the pop-rivots, as when I left there body shop I took it to 2 different body shop that ARE qualified to do the work and both told me they needed to order a new truck bed skin because they screwed up! So now they will have to take it up with Geico as Geico has another bill to pay becuae ELITE AUTO BODY screwed my truck up. read more

Horrible Service....DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR. They were referred by Geico Insurance as a Premium Service vendor on 10/3/2016. They stripped my car before getting approval or locating the parts for repair. After telling me that they only use three vendors for replacement car parts and could not locate a front bumper, tire axle drivers side, tires or replacement rim - they decided to total my car. I went online and found all the parts from other vendors to which they were not interested. For 3 days I spoke to 5 different people then none of my calls returned. I stopped for a visit and was told no work was done because of the hurricane 10/8/2016. Yet the door handles were missing, the bumper and license plate, a dent was in the front door. I was told my car was going to be put back together since I made arrangements to have it towed to another body shop. When the other body shop received the car - the same items were missed. I had to drive to ELITE Auto myself to pickup my bumper, tires, the door handles are still missing. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE....GEICO AND ELITE AUTO PROVIDED THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.... read more
