After service and a complimentary cleaning at Elite this girl is looking and running great!

Elite is always thorough, customer service is great here and my car always comes out of this shop clean and well cared for. This is a great family-owned and operated place of business and it shows in the way they care for their customers and vehicles. Pricing is transparent and fair and they go over all your options and let you know which things are important and which should be done soon. Always a pleasure doing business with this shop.

NEVER AGAIN! In August 2020, I took my Audi S4 in for a complete brake job (replace both front and back). I normally/usually take it to Inskip but decided to try Elite Auto. The Service Rep asked me if I wanted Audi OEM parts or aftermarket and I stated Audi OEM. I realize that I will pay more for Audi parts but will still be cheaper overall compared to the Audi Dealership (Inskip). Prior to leaving my car I took a photo of my odometer of 71,222 miles. Fast forward to when my car was ready... Paid for my service, went out to my car, and noticed the odometer now stated 71,241. Of course I realize that after certain service jobs a test drive is necessary so I went back into the office to ask. The Service Rep stated that yes, we did a test drive and the route we take is down Route 37, make a u turn and come back Route 37 to the shop. Route 37 is ~ 3 miles so down and back would be ~ 6 miles. So I asked why is there 20 miles listed on my car? The Service Rep stated that they didn't know why but would find out. Fast forward to today (Sept 2021)... About 4 weeks ago I noticed a clicking sound coming from my front brakes when I would initially exit my garage and then just last week my Brade Pad Alert Warning Light came on. So I scheduled an appointment with Inskip to find out what was the issue. New OEM brakes on an Audi S4 should last at least 3 years but since COVID I no longer commute to Boston, so my car is not driven as much as what it used to when I did the daily commute (back in January 2020) so you would think the brakes would still be in great shape. ~NOPE~ Per Inskip: cheap aftermarket brake pads/parts were utilized the brakes on my Audi S4 are NOT factory OEM. You have been warned... I will NEVER go back or recommend them to ANYONE!

My wife and I now own two mid 80s European sports cars, a 1988 Ferrari and a 1986 Porsche 911. The 911 comes to us from the personal collection of Jim Paiva, owner of the shop. We first test drove the car in the fall and I noticed a slight skip in the acceleration between the lower gears. (The car has been stored for some time and I believe Jim when he sad he had never noticed it before). So he and his crew began the diagnostic nightmare of trying to figure out what I know to sometimes be nightmares with these mid 80s Porsches and their (at the time state of the art) but now, ancient computer module systems. It took many months of part chasing and much expense on his part but he ended up fixing it and it now runs flawlessly. Additionally, he rebuilt the air conditioning system as a courtesy because my wife wanted the AC to work (Note, he advertised the car as not having the AC working so this he did not have to do). With all of the added work and expense on his part, he stuck to his original handshake price with me. That is not only the mark of a true gentleman, but a first class human being who could've easily told me that the price had gone up due to the extra work and time he spent getting the car fixed. From here on in all of my exotics are going to be going to Elite for their maintenance and repair.

I have a 2012 Ford Escape that developed several electric/electronic issues over time. I initially…read morebrought my vehicle to my regular mechanic, and they had the vehicle for 4 days, and were unable to diagnose/fix the problems. To their credit they were very apologetic. The general concensus was to try my local Ford dealer in East Greenwich. I have been doing business with this dealer since 1979 (not service, buying vehicles only) and their response to me was we're booking into November! I find this attitude extremely offputting, do they really expect someone to wait 3 or 4 months to get a vechicle repaired. This is where J&S Auto comes into the picture. I read several of their reviews, and found one from a fellow I used to work with, so I decided to give them a call. Spoke with Rick, and laid everything out to him. He was a bit skeptical at first, but gave me an appointment for the following week. (Not November!) I brought the vehicle in, and they did their diagnosis, and came back to me with a very professionally written estimate so that I could see everything that needed to be done. Now, I will say it turned out to be rather pricey, not the neighborhood guy that works cheap, but you get what you pay for. The work was done by professionals, the communication was excellent, and the most important thing is the vehicle is running great. Excellent job, great people to do business with, and I will be returning next time I need something. Thank you to everyone for a job well done at J&S Auto Repair.

If you are a woman Joe will rob you blind. First I brought my car for an inspection and he decided…read moreon his own to do an oil change and I was forced to pay it. I had an issue with my windows not going down so I asked him to check it. He charged me for looking at it and told me he changed some fuses. I didn't have the money to get it fixed so he gave me a copy of what the bill was. It was almost 600 dollars. I took the car to a relative and he took the little panel off where the power buttons are and asked why is this unplugged I told him Joe must have left it like that, so he plugged them together then turned my car on and what do you know ALL the power windows went down. I had also brought my car to him with a screw in my tire and I asked him if he could plug it. Well he called me back and said that the tire was no good and of course he had one for just over 100 dollars, so I paid it. Well I recently got a flat and for the heck of it I asked the repair guy at Ryder tire in West Warwick if he would see if the tire in my trunk that Joe said was no good could be used? Well what do you know the tire was fine and I have been using it for over 2 months now. I also went back and looked at some of the bills that I have from Joe and things are not adding up!!! What a surprise. I don't know how that man sleeps at night. I left him a message but of course I got no reply. Times are tough and I have a family to support and the very last thing I needed was Joe to rob me. I absolutely believe in karma so just know it's coming Joe.

Took my truck there for alignment that was recommended by enthusiasts. They did it and tells me…read morethey did the best and it'll pull a little. Next day the entire truck came out of alignment and checked myself to see that ALL the control bolts were loose. Called to reschedule another alignment as Joe kept complaining that my this my lift that. A week later does it again free of charge. Seems not to pull anymore but the steering was cocked. Again, as last time, the very next day I hit a bump and knocked it all out of alignment again. I'm done with this dump shop I would never go there or recommend this place to anyone
