Got a coolant flush done here and resulted in a coolant leak and a big headache. Constant coolant leak and car overheating and getting stuck on the side of the road. Fortunately they were able to circle back and correct the issue.. I do want to give huge appreciation to George who works there. Went there on 8 July '22, oil change some comments: No prices listed on the wall, like they used to do, so we guess the cost of the items they suggest?? Later in the day noted something leaking from vehicle, thought it was water. Next day realized not water, but oil leaking. Returned to Valvoline, first they doubted me, but then noted that there was no oil in the engine. They changed the filter and filled oil again, apologizing apparently this has happened before. I told the guy now I have to clean up the oil spill in the driveway, he said nothing. I then told him his prices are outrageous and after this I would never return to Valvoline again. In an out and under $80 bucks. You drive up, they scan your car and then escort you to the waiting room. They had a tv, coffee maker and clean rest room. The were all lovely, and made the appropriate suggestions and I did not feel like they were out to try to make money off of me. They showed me a few things under the hood, and even took time to see what the leak in my back tire was all about. DAMN Pot holes! Looks like we need to get the tire reattached to the rim to get a good seal. Drive up and drive out, its that simple! read more

They claimed that I had a dirty air filter and that putting it back would ruin my engine. I had changed the air filter 2 months ago, it was pure white and it had a few leaves in it. I also had a tire that was low on air and they assured me that they brought it up to 35lbs. Upon leaving there, my low tire light remained on. I pulled over, checked the air, and it was still below 30 lbs. It seems as if they are preying on the uninformed. I have been using Valvoline at other locations every 3-4 months for over 10 years and have always received good service. I would not return to this location. I would not trust them. Went in for simple oil change on morning of 8/13/14 to include air filter change, total bill was 115.92 then drove to work not far away. Later that evening while on the way to dinner with family on I-95 a loud bang was heard from under vehicle. Upon pulling off highway in rain I managed to have a flashlight in truck and looked under to see the skid plate dragging on ground. I immediately called Valvoline Customer Care 800 327 8242 for help but all stores were closed this was approximately around 6:30 to 7PM I was told I was on my own til next day. I had to climb under truck in suit to remove damaged plate which had not been secured properly. Vehicle was dropped off at dealership next day where it stayed for two days until it could be serviced resulting in many scheduling conflicts and late meetings. I was left a message by regional manager on Friday morning but when I attempted to return his call same day I was told he was gone for the weekend, I explained the situation and left cell number but was never called back. I made two more attempts but was not contacted. Received truck back on Saturday and sent email along with repair invoices and request for compensation for being without transportation for two days. I was offered repair bills and a free oil change. I declined the free oil change, as I will not be coming back. I was not pleased with service and even less so at the shortsightedness of management team who cant seem to understand its very inconvenient and even dangerous to climb under a truck on a highway at night with your family in the car hoping not to be rear ended. I had a coupon, so I decided to opt for Valvoline instead of making an appointment with my usual mechanic. While I understand that drive-up services cost more than the standard because of the convenience it affords, an oil change should not cost $62 dollars AFTER a coupon is applied. I would have driven away that moment if my keys had not already been placed in the safekeeping box. Moreover, the man who serviced my vehicle was a complete jerk to me. He yelled at me for entering the garage before he beckoned me in and then yelled at me for trying to leave because he was yelling at me for the first thing! Every instruction (turn on the car, place the keys in this box, etc.) was barked, and every serviceman in the garage was complaining loudly about how understaffed they were that day (meanwhile there were three employees and four stations). Hello? You work in customer service. Understaffed or not, don't yell at the customers. Finally, the guy gave me synthetic oil when I asked for the cheapest option, which explained my high bill (only after I got in the car did I even know). Absolutely horrible place. Quickest way to get an oil change. Staff is pretty rude; they get mad when you want the $20 oil change instead of the $70 one. (Why bother paying more?!) In my opinion the reason people come to places like this is because they want a quick cheap oil change. Employees seem under-trained; on my car the maintenance required light automatically resets after an oil change.. they spent about five minutes asking me if i knew how to reset the light (because they didn't) and telling me it couldn't automatically reset (apparently it is not possible). Then the manager came over to ask if I knew how to reset the light (She also did not know). I have had the car for 7 years, I think I know how it works.. when I turned the car on after they had finished what do you know the light was reset! read more

My college aged daughter just went here for an oil change and called me back crying. She was treated horribly from the start, yelled at from the time she pulled in. Told them she had a groupon ( she drove all the way from NK so she could use it) and the young man working rudely refused to honor it. I am more than angry! I'm always skeptical of mechanic garages my wife has to deal with when I'm out of town, but not this shop. Bill, the service manager, went above and beyond to make sure she had the best service and attention to get her car back on the road. After her Flex shut down on the road a few miles away, he personally went to retrieve her vehicle, brought it back to the shop and corrected the issue at no charge. I don't know anywhere else that charges $90 JUST for an oil change. No, the filter is not included in that price. I wish a lower rating existed especially for this place. The people here are incompetent and argumentative if there is an issue. That issue is never resolved. The manager referred to me as a woman the first half of the conversation and would sigh and moan throughout the "resolution". I asked for a regional number to call and was told it was on my reciept. I go here all the time for oil changes etc. I went yesterday for an oil change and a to replace a headlight. I have a Chrysler and these cars are are known to be a real pain to replace headlights. There's just no room behind them to get to it. After about 45 minutes they got the job done and didn't charge me anymore then it would if it took 5 min. Best $12 I ever spent as it would of taken me 2 hours with bruised hands and a backache to do it myself. They all work together like a team should. Thanks guys for not giving up. Didn't realize how over I was for an oil change until my light came on and I drive 80+ miles a day commuting from home to school and work and back home. Called up Valvoline and they said just come by between now and 7pm. Headed over right after I got out of class. I was very happy with the service! They changed my oil and I had a very pleasant conversation with the mechanics. Boy was I surprised when they pulled out my air and cabin filters though! Decided to get them changed while I was there. Even though I know I could have done it all myself at home from probably half the price, I was more than happy to pay what I did. I had found some coupons online and they honored them happily. Since the weather is getting nicer, I have my dad or brother do my oil changes in the yard, but I will definitely be back once it gets colder or if someone isn't around to do it at home!
