Gave me a breakdown of additional services my car was in need of and gave me quotes on a complete package vs the services he thought were the most important. Was a good place at one time but now between personal experiences, family and friends we've come to find out that they seem to be trying g to swindle customers, telling them that they have oil leaks and referring them across the street for repairs, they have done this with my son, nephew and my wife whos car is only 2 yrs old. They have even told me that my car has a oil leak and it's only a year old. Definitely do not recommend this particular location seems like they are trying to constantly scam their customers. read more

I drove right in, everyone was fully masked and gloves. They asked before they touched anything inside of my car to inspect it. Good customer service and fast. They try to up sell on the filters inside your car - mine had clearly never been changed before, so I said yes, but something to be prepared for. They had Groupon pulled up on their screen in a second tab, so I checked them out on Groupon and there is a 50% coupon on their oil change services! So, I ended up replacing my filters and getting the top synthetic oil for less than it would have cost just for the oil change! Note your mileage when you leave, even though I got the best synthetic oil, they put me due in 3000 miles for another oil change when that stuff is usually good for 8000 - 10000. read more

I was very disappointed when last week I brought my wife's 2009 MINI Cooper S for an oil change and they refused to do it. According the the tech, the franchise won't do oil changes on that particular car because you need to move the coolant reserve tanker get to the filter and too many of their "skilled" techs were breaking hoses. You are oil change "specialists" and should be prepared for any scenario. It's convenient but that's the last time I'll bring any of my vehicles there. Oil and stuff This is the usual fifteen minute oil change place. You drive in, tell the guy what you want, they do it, you pay and get out. Because this place is small you just stay in your car, no waiting room with a TV and free coffee like other places, but that's all right because it doesn't take very long. Sure they try and sell you stuff and get you do more than just the oil change but they aren't too bad. And the guys working here are poilte, efficient and seem to understand exactly what they have to do to get you out as fast as possible. So if you're too lazy to change your own oil like I am, this is a good place to have it done. The price is reasonable and it's just so convenient and easy that there really isn't any reason to mess around with changing the oil in your vehicle yourself anymore. read more

This wasn't the case with this location, I had Adnel & Kyle taking care of my car today. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. They made a point to show me my filters and tell me how much life I had left in them, and keep the job honest and efficient. Nice to be able to trust a place. Will be returning. read more

These "techs" have no idea what they're doing. Brought my car in for an oil change, and the kid in the pit started hammering to get the drain plug loose, causing a leak from the oil pan drain plug. I regularly go to this Valvoline and consistently receive excellent service! I am not bothered by the "up sell" because I understand this is part of their training and they are expected to suggest additional products. The employees are always very nice and I love that I can stop in between oil changes to have them add oil and top off other fluids. I was prompted to finally write a review because of my experience this morning -- When I turned on my car this freezing cold morning there was a message to check my coolant. Luckily I live close to this location so pulled in for them to check my coolant. I fully expected to pay for them to add coolant (especially because my last oil change was not from Valvoline and was clearly evident from the window sticker!) The employee added coolant, had me turn on my car and heat, and then checked it again and added some more. When I asked what I owed he said, "Don't worry about it just have a nice day!" I go to Valvoline because they perform a basic oil change that I don't have to make an appointment for. My usual car-service spot requires an appointment; it's nice to be able to include "get oil changed" as part of around-town errands. There is rarely a line at the Warwick Ave location, and you'll be in and out within 10 minutes. Go there once and leave your address, they'll pepper your mailbox with $10 off coupons every week or so. Use them for all your vehicles then give the extra to friends. Wait, isn't that what they want me to do? The downside is that they attempt to up-sell you on just about everything else for your car. "Your air filter is dirty, we can change it for you", "Your wipers are cracked, we can change them for you", "Your left brake light is out, we can change that for you" ... and I have to tell them every time, "No, thank you" - because I do all that myself. They should note on the account that I don't need or want the extra services. Aside from that, a good experience. read more

I love this location. I drive out of my way across Warwick every time I need an oil change to come here specifically. The service is always quick, friendly, and polite. They do a full inspect of all lights, tire pressures and fluid levels every time, and they always show you that the oil is new and full afterwards. It is a much more comfortable experience here as a female than other places I've been to in the past such as Jiffy Lube. I love that you remain in your car and they get you in and out - you're not sitting in a greasy waiting room for 45 minutes to an hour. You also don't have to walk through a garage full of men while they all oogle you like a piece of meat. I've never once felt creeped out at this location. My reps today were Amelio and Sal and they were both extremely respectful and helpful. Highly recommend. read more

The FASTEST oil change I've even experience in my life!! You don't even need to get out of the car. I'll bet I was in and out in 10 minutes. My car takes 7 quarts of synthetic oil, so it's a little bit more expensive, but my time is worth money. Great work, thanks guys. read more

I waited over 10 mins, the staff looked at me a few times, senior staff were outside under a pop up for a meeting or training not sure. After waiting all that time someone came over to tell me they don't do oil changes on Minis. had to wait for someone to leave for me to get out of there. A waste of my time. Having changed my own oil in the past I know it's not difficult. This is my other spot where I feel good about letting my car get work done. The service is friendly and professional, they get the job done right, and the price is wallet-friendly, too. Now of course, we are taking into consideration that I know jack-squat about car mechanics and depending on your level of feminism, I am a girl. These two things generally put me on a disadvantage when it comes car related things, but the guys here appear to be genuine and honest and trustworthy. They always explain everything to me, and when I tell them I have no clue what they're talking about, they break it down. If you need an oil change, want your car checked out before a road trip, etc, then this is a good spot. read more

I'm feeling mixed about this place. They spelled my name wrong when they added me as a customer and didn't fix it when it was pointed out, forgot to put my husbands oil cap back on and WAY over tightened my oil filter housing to the point where it was not able to be taken off to change the filter. Convenience is nice and it was certainly fast but sometimes, as the saying goes, haste makes waste. We will not be back. read more
