These people are a great find! My car repair shop of over 30 years closed, and I began a search to find a new one. Checked on AAA and found Elite. From the first contact, I (I'm a female) was treated with respect and everything that might have been my car problem was explained in detail.......and rough estimated. The great part, was that upon actual car analyzation, they determined it was NOT as serious, and repair time was cut by two days, and my bill was 1/3 of the original rough estimate. Took my 2014 Cadillac SRX in for an oil change today. When the service advisor called to inform me that it was done, he listed the things which the mechanic advised need servicing. Along the laundry list was a water pump replacement priced at $941.64. I found this to be interesting since Elite replaced it on 2/22/25 at a cost of $629.83. When I mentioned this, the advisor stated he didn't see any record of doing this work. I stated that I would produce the original receipt. As I was picking the car up from the oil change, I showed it to him. Here's where it went off the rails. I no longer trust their diagnosis at all. I wanted an oil change and got lip service how parts go bad yada yada. The offer was made to put it back on the lift, but I will never believe otherwise that this mechanic doesn't know what he's doing or misrepresented the situation. Since the water pump was replaced in February there has been NO leakage that I can see. This smacks of bait and switch to me. This is only my personal opinion. Trust is paramount these days. Elite lost mine. If I had cause to believe something was wrong with the water pump, I would have long ago taken it back for that purpose. Keep your receipts and if a recommendation doesn't fit question it. read more

I took my car in to have a simple oil change done. My car never had any type of oil leak before I took it to them. I had been taking my car there for years and was not aware that the old owners sold the business. I got my car home after the oil change and noticed an oil spot on the driveway. I assumed that it was just from some spillage when they did the repair. Unfortunately that is not the case. I have to take my car to another mechanic to find out what they did. They helped a stranger out and gave me this service for free after learning I lost both my parents my mom to pancreatic cancer and my Dad deleted himself two months later. At first, I had ok experience with this shop, but then I noticed they always try to up-sell services. I brought my RV to them for service, and also asked them to look at the onboard gas generator which was running rough. They said I needed a generator tune up (which I approved) and to have the gas tank in the RV removed for flushing and said that was why my generator was starved for fuel. The cost would be $1500. I declined the tank flush and the generator still ran terrible. I took it to another shop, they fixed the generator for around $400 for a tuneup kit with installation. it still runs great. I took it back to Elite for an oil change and asked them to air-up my tires from 80psi to around 95. Before I picked it up, I asked the service advisor if the tires were aired up and he said, "Yes." a few days later, I checked and they were still low. I called and "Ivan" said he would have the owners call me, which they have not. I will take it elsewhere from now on. read more

Very bad experience...had a rear brake pads replaced last 2023, and just after 1.5 years its down to 0mm?!!!? What kind of pads did you use on my car? Had it brand new 2019 subaru forester and we had the rear brakes replaced 2023...thats 4years! And now your pads only lasted 1.5 years?!? Mind you i do not hit my brakes hard while driving...brakes are very important and i do not trust these guys anymore...NEVER coming back here! read more

Had my car serviced here last year and I just had it serviced at the Toyota dealer last week for a major service and Toyota said that the skid plate front bolts were lose and there was some issue with the rear plate fastening method (?). Needed the horns replaced on my Porsche Cayman. Initially thought this was a job that required removal of the front bumper, which is quite a lot of work. But Ali and the team at Elite researched and found that it's possible to do it with the car on a lift and without bumper removal. Job done quickly and at a very reasonable cost. They agreed to use a new set of aftermarket horns that I had purchased myself rather than insisting on supplying the parts. read more

My car needed a Smog Check. I took my registration renewal and their coupon there to have the work done. The price on the flyer was a total of $30. $21.75 for the inspection and $8.25 for the Certificate. The guy told me that it would be $36 and that I'd have to wait a couple of hours. I asked him to clarify how the price went from $30 to $36....he told me there are "taxes and fees." I have never paid taxes and fees on a Smog Check....he's trying to rip me off...plain and simple. I went to another shop nearby and they did the job for $32 for both inspection and certificate. Buyer beware. I used to take all my vehicles to this mechanic. They were trustworthy and honest. Always told me what they recommend for the mileage but didn't try to sell me on something i didn't actually need. Their prices were fair and they did good work. Unfortunately, I won't be returning here after my last visit. They gave me an estimate that I felt was very high. I was emailed by AAA to schedule an appointment for car checkout do I booked an appointment on the scheduling calendar site for 4pm yesterday. I drove from Irvine to the place reaching at 330pm well in time and the person told me I have to drop the car since they were not able to check it out at the appointment time. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, liars, crooks, unprofessional body job and mechanic. I'm taking them to court for all the damage, wasted time and bad job they did to my car, very unprofessional body job, they got paid by the insurance to fix and deliver market standard conditions and they are nothing close to that. they used zip tite instead of proper screws, badly fitted hood, fender and plastic pieces attached to the accident side, rack and pinion is bad (steering is not safe, it slips), they also sold me a used battery saying its new, I rejected the job 3 times, my car still not done. My wife dropped her car and DMV renewal for smog check, her car failed but the guy told her everything's fine including submitting to DMV without informing her of the failure. My wife could not renew her car registration after long wait then went to DMV office and found out her car didn't pass smog check also car almost broking down on the freeway after their smog check. Elite is the best shop I've ever taken my car to. They are careful, thorough, and honest in their work. They've taken great care of my car on multiple occasions and are the only place I plan on bringing my car to. Their prices are really good, they don't try to scam women, and in fact they've always taught me a good deal about my car every time I've come in. Steve is an awesome manager and he's very well connected in the industry. Besides getting maintenance and body work done, they handled getting my stereo system upgraded and my car keys copied. He helped me fight insurance when they tried to deny repairs on a claim and worked with me when I filed a complaint against the insurance company. I don't live in the area anymore and tried going somewhere else once when my turbo stopped working, only to bring it back to Elite, where they did proper diagnostics to find that it didn't need to be replaced for 3k but just needed a new actuator for half the cost. Steve also helped me get the inappropriately charged diagnostics fee waived from the other ship. This team is amazing, I've gotten to know them and they always treat me so well; I trust this shop completely and highly recommend if anyone has car work that needs to be done :) read more
