Here, I check my invoice to make sure they didn't undercharge me. I actually thought he forgot to charge me for some things. But no, it was correct. They are extremely affordable and honest here. Customers aren't treated like vulnerable suckers and dollar signs. Quite the opposite. I initially took my car here for a routine service several months ago. Pricing is very reasonable and by that I mean much cheaper than other shops and dealers. That in itself should have been enough reason to write a great review. However, today I'm writing in regards to my wife's minivan. It was having issues with the brakes (brake booster to be specific) and Truong assessed the situation and gave me very reasonable and sound advice of what to do and how to approach since I was only one month outside of my new car warranty and still under the 36K mileage. He didn't even charge me for the inspection/assessment which I later learned Toyota would have charged me $90 for. Our car was making a rattling sound and with my husband deployed I didn't know if we had our catalytic converter stolen (since that's happening a lot) or what. I'm torn between a two and a three star review, not because the service was bad (pretty quick oil change, friendly workers) but because there were no masks being worn by any employees except for //sometimes// outdoors, which isn't even where they're recommended to be worn as much. They only have an acrylic screen between customers and the non masked employee inside the office, which does nothing to protect against aerosols that could contain the virus. I felt extremely unsafe even setting foot in this establishment. Luckily much of this place is outdoors, so it could have been worse, but I absolutely did not appreciate the lack of concern for the safety and health of their customers and employees. read more

I only went in for an oil change, and I love this place already. Truong is incredibly friendly and the main office is clean and presentable. While it was not busy at the time, my car was already on the blocks getting serviced within five minutes of me sitting down. I also really like how the waiting area has windows and does not feel like a boxed-in prison cell. The kid in me also loves that they have a window into the service area! Something about cars getting lifted into the air gets me excited for some crazy reason. The window into the service area also reveals how clean and orderly the working area is. While it may have no direct effect on me, it conveys that Accu really values organization and cleanliness. That's a great indicator about the caliber of service you will be getting at Accu. He's had multiple opportunities to "increase" my bill, but due to his honesty and integrity, that's never happened. He has my business for the next 100 years. Wish I found his shop 25 years ago. A few years ago, I actually had Rancho Santa Margarita Honda tell me all the brakes in my 2005 Pilot needed to be replaced immediately!!! The service rep there went so far as to tell me that he wouldn't let his mother ride in my car because the brakes were sooooo worn out. I wasn't buying his typical useless car-dealer line of crap. My dad has been going here for over ten years for smog checks. Finally, my car needed routine smog checks for the DMV. Took it here and was greeted and treated very nicely. A good measure of whether a mechanic has fair rates is a basic break and rotor replacement. I can no longer support this station repair shop. He was going to charge us $500 for front brakes and rotors. I went up the street and had it done for 300. There was also a miscalculation on another repair that he was wanting to charge $600 for. I had another mechanic determined it was not nearly as bad as we were told and it only cost $100 to repair. May be a bad day by this shop but a very costly one because they lost a long-term customer. read more

Wow what a honest company...you will not find a better auto repair shop than Accu Auto...I brought my SUV in to check out a "Check Engine" light and within an hour of tests and checking out my other concerns Truong gave us a run down of the warning light...it was nothing more than a loose gas cap that triggered the problem. What was more shocking was that Truong didn't charge for the diagnostics. I can't count how many times that I was charged for a simple diagnostics at the other auto repair shops. I was referred by a friend, after buying a 2001 Toyota, that I had been given very expensives repair quotes. Truong did the same work for about 50% of what I had been quoted. The next time in, my oil pressure light was on and he found an inexpensive removal of oil pan and rinsing a filter removed the sludge and saved my engine.
