We had a late evening flight, had no rental car and our hotel checkout was at 10am. Quite a dilemma for us because we wanted to take advantage of our full day in Kauai prior to our flight but stuck with our luggage and carry on bags. Desperation was setting in about what to do! Done go and hang out at the airport for 12 hours? Do we hide our bags in the woods? Do we beg the concierge to hold our bags? Even so, without a rental car, it meant we had to go back to the hotel to get our gear. None of these options were practical nor convenient. While we were about to give up and make our way to the airport, my wife decided to see if there's a baggage storage service near by the airport. What she found was even better! Elite baggage! When my wife checked out their website and their services we couldn't believe this service existed. I mean, were we dreaming? Nope, it was real, real convenient that Elite Baggage came over and picked up our luggages, stored them for us and when it was time to fly back home they met us curbside and dropped off our luggage on time, as promised. Wow! I can understand if certain travelers may be skeptical about handing their luggage to a complete stranger, however, I don't think someone went through the trouble of setting up a website, yelp account and having an official vehicle to steal your bags and dirty underwear when you're headed home after your vacation. This is a legit business and made life so convenient for us. We got a full day of going to the beach and shopping without having to lug around our luggages. I called Aimee the day before our departure when we learned our time share resort was not providing luggage storage. We had a red-eye flight leaving at 11pm, and did not want to spend the whole day with all our bags in the car. We arranged a convenient drop-off of our bags with Aimee at the airport, and were able to enjoy our last day on Kauai worry-free. My partner and I were heading out to the Kalalau Trail for a few days and heard many people say that you shouldn't leave valuables in your car at the trailhead. There's nothing worse than a break-in especially after a 22 mile hike and many days left of vacation so we decided to search for a place to leave our bags. Rather than leaving them at a hotel or AirBnB (since we were backpacking) I gave Aimee a call before our trip and set up a day and time for her to come retrieve our bags. Once we were done with the hike we had to immediately drive to the airport to catch a flight to Maui. We made arrangements for bag pickup (over the phone) a couple weeks before we needed the service, then confirmed the time frame for the pickup over text the night before, and she arrived within the 30 minute window for pickup.
