Tony and Julio Pimentel arrived on time, first thing in the morning, to clean our 15 solar panels. They discussed the job with me and got to work. Their equipment was excellent- they used a special soft brush and ran my water through their filter. They were very careful of the panels and of our roof shingles too, and they had a standoff for their ladder to avoid marring the house. After cleaning, there was virtually no sign of the cleaning water (streaking, etc) on the panels. They also cleaned two skylights for us, and didn't ask for more money. I plan to use them again for other cleaning jobs on the property and I highly recommend them. I measured a 7% increase in energy production. In a year the job will pay back almost twice their reasonable fee! Annual panel cleaning is a no brainer. We had Elite come and clean our gutters and solar panels. They did a very professional job -- communication was clear and they gave us a schedule, confirmation, washed and flushed the gutters and downspouts, sprayed off the roof, and provided before / after photos. Since this was done during COVID, everything was done contactless and guys showed up in masks. We were able to get a really great deal since we organized having them come service a number of houses in our neighborhood at the same time. The team was courteous and we could really see them take care and pride in what they were doing -- we watched them service a couple of our neighbors' homes. Our solar panels are about 4 years old and have never been washed, and we noticed an immediate improvement in performance about 10% after cleaning (they scrub the panels and wash with deionized soft water). SOLAR PANEL CLEANING AFTER ALL THE FIRES INCA. I interviewed 8 companies before choosing Elite! I normally like to go in depth with my recommendations, but I will keep this short! I sent them all photos of the job! I got back all kinds of crazy pricing, some up to a thousand dollars! Out of the 8 two were reasonable enough to call! I believe either of them would do a good job, but for once I went with the cheapest! For 120.00 I got 20 Panels on two levels of a Tri level house done by using long handled scrub brushes! This is the preferred method for cleaning Solar Panels! (Do not use power wash on modern solar panels!) two Gus came out! Very polite! Spent an hour scrubbing the panels! They looked like new again! I had a lot of hard to remove redwood ash burned into the panel and rain was no longer cleaning them off! They of course were masked and social distancing! I then read they also clean gutters so I had them add that quote to the solar panel cleaning. They confirmed the appointment the day before via text and then again morning of- Tony Jr and Tony and crew arrived promptly and got to work. They use deionized water to rinse the panels for no spotting. Tony Jr texted over 20 before and after pics of the panels and gutters which I appreciated.
