I was planning a luncheon for my daughters upcoming wedding and had hired a new, local business and wanted to help them thrive. Less than 2 weeks before the event they emailed cancelling my event, and I'm so glad they did. I was in a panic and the first name that popped in my head was Brancato's. I knew they were a long established KC caterer. I sent them and email and went to bed and woke up worrying about it. First thing in the morning i got a call from Katie, who assured me everything would be just fine. By noon she had helped me with all the selections, had it all emailed over to me, and it was done. She also touched base with me a few times more, letting me know who would be serving at the event and other information to make sure I was informed and at ease. It was so nice to feel confident and have one less thing to think about. The food is a big thing to not worry about. The day of the event I was surprised how early the Brancato's van pulled up. The event was held in a large house overlooking KC and several guests had stayed there the entire weekend. Domonique and Nancy were so stealthy, coming and going so quietly while they set up, but never in the way, never disturbing anyone. Total professionals. The presentation was flawless. They picked up cups and plates left laying around (which I didn't anticipate them helping with), were lighting fast on restocking the dishes with food, helping guests. They were always smiling and pleasant. Katie even stopped by as well and was amazing and helpful. It all ran like the most amazing well oiled machine. Then to top it all off, the food was fantastic. It was the best catered food ever! Everyone raved about it. Several people actually commented they were the best bacon wrapped dates they have ever had. The mini Beef Wellington are one of the best things I've ever tasted. I want to order a giant platter of those just for myself! I'm seriously thinking of how I can have another event and have that food again. Brancato's not only got there early, they stayed late. They took the remaining food and arranged it nicely on dishes available in the house, still making it look polished. Somehow they found on crock pot on the premises to put the spin dip in, and then let me know there were a few more leftovers if needed in the refrigerator in the garage. Then poof, they were gone, quietly and smiling just like they arrived. I did not have to do one thing but pay attention to my guests. To say I'm impressed is an understatement. I got so much more service and such quality of food then I could have imagined. Also, the cost was not any more than the other place I had originally booked. I owe a huge thanks to Katie who was so fantastic, as well as Domonique and Nancy. I've dealt with so many companies both here and at the destination wedding site, and they put Brancato's at the top of the list!
