Stopped to buy a cigar, enjoy it while having a couple drinks before dinner. Cigar selectstill good, and helpful staff there. However, service in the bar has declined to the point it's pathetic. The servers won't get out from behind the not-busy bar to even take our drink order. After 10 minutes of waiting I got up and walked to the bar and ordered. When the drinks were delivered, no one even ASKED if we were interested in ordering from the menu. We're eating elsewhere. Ugh. Sad. read more

The pancakes are HEAVENLY. I mean lick your plate good. Portion sizes are huge. We started out with the buffalo wings and they were OK. The breakfast stole the show. My hubby had the Chicken Fried Steak platter that came with eggs, hashbrowns, and texas toast. Just don't get it when the sign on the entrance of the humidor and then the sign in front of the cigar box say it's a special, but at the register I keep hearing that is "only good while supply lasts". I was there saturday night December 12, 2020 with a few friends. It was our first time visiting this Cigar lounge. We were very disappointed with the service from the bartender. We even just stopped ordering drinks and when we left (she had swiped our cards for a tab) we didnt even try to tab out. She took so long and seemed to skip us quite frequently to serve what seemed to be her regulars. Even taking our order for our drinks but proceeding to help others that walked up without making our drinks first. When asked where our drinks were she responded that she was alone and have we ever done that job before... Being too busy was not the issue. She just chose not to take us in order and skip to the ones she wanted to help. We had to ask multiple times for everything we ordered. This was very disappointing and we will not be returning unless we know this girl has been replaced. read more

I found this establishment the first week I moved to Texas with a best friend. We instantly loved it. The diverse group and friendly nature instantly made us regulars. The cigar humidor is the largest I have personally seen and I smoke frequently. Maki Solomon, who is a manager and cigar expert got me hooked on a couple new favorites such the tabernacle and Don Pepin Garcia. Excellent smokes with a good lead and ring gauge. But they have anything you want. He also is exceedingly knowledge as a bartender. The bartender who makes most of my drinks is named Jaz who is a total babe and always makes sure my glass is full. It is to the point now where instead of ordering I just give her a look a new glass of Jameson, Oban, or Balvenie is placed in front of me. Last time coming here today. I've bought three boxes of cigars, a cutter, a humidor, multiple lighters, tons of food, and countless drinks here within the last year. Been here probably 25-30 times. On my most recent visit I was rudely instructed that I was not allowed to smoke my Drew Estate Java by Rocky Patel indoors (which I was buying there, by the way) because of its smell. Apparently it annoys the guys who work there so you're not allowed to smoke it inside. Is that a f***ing joke? This is a CIGAR BAR fool. Not only that, the ventilation here SUCKS. I don't mind because I'm a cigar smoker but the entire place wreaks like cigars. As if you're going to notice the smell of one particular cigar through the 100 or so other cigars in the bar? Grow up. My brother and I have easily spent a combined $2-3,000 here in the last year but no more. I'll go to Cigar Warehouse or House of Cigars to buy sticks (better selection and lower prices) and Casa De Montecristo (MUCH nicer atmosphere) to smoke from now on. Easy fix. I came in to Elite Cigar Cafe in a whim and I have to say I I am making this my new go to for cigars and lounging with my friends and associates. The atmosphere is outstanding, in the bar and dining area and the food is top notch. They have the best selection of cigars I have seen and the selection of drinks is endless. In the dining area I was taken care of by a waitress named Mandi who's service skills are excellent. She made me feel welcome and took care of any request I needed. On top of that she was the only person working the bar and I have to say it was extremely impressive watching her handle both sides of the dining area while it was pretty busy. I am not quite a cigar aficionado but I appreciate the pasttime. Most cigar shops are chill and welcome a diverse clientele. This estab is no different. It has a nice big patio, a nice roomy indoor seating area with booths, tables and bar seating as well. They also have a sitting area with a few leather sofa chairs. TVs of course. The bathrooms were nice, better than I expected. Similarly the food was better than I expected. Didn't even know they had food until I asked. We went with the spinach artichoke dip which came with salsa and hearty tortilla chips. Far exceeded my expectations. I mean some bars or shops don't focus on the other details so that definitely makes me want to try out other items on the menu. They also have great happy hour specials worth taking advantage. We come here every time we travel to Dallas, we are from TN. The cigar selection is fantastic!! I usually get a La Duena in a gauge I love and my fiancée can get his Tabernacle or others. There are some hard working men & women here. Q has been our favorite last few times we came. Such a hard working guy. The new bar manager lady is super nice too. The food I feel has only improved, and it's great to be able to eat while posting up. Lots of TV's lining the wall, so you can watch games in any spot. They have a great cigar culture here. I had to flag a server down after about 20 minutes at the bar to serve us which wasn't cool at all and she was less than enthusiastic to serve us. I was in Dallas for 24 hours for a 2 hour meeting. I was looking for a place to relax after a 3 1/2 hour flight into DFW and found this place on Yelp. The first thing I alway do is browse the entire humidor to check out the selection of cigars and was pleased to see a wide selection. The second thing I do is say "darn - the taxes is Texas are SO much better than California"... (Cigars are almost half the cost in Texas verse California because of taxes) I selected a Padron 1964 maduro... And walked into the restaurant side of the building. As I lit up the cigar, the waitress instantly came over with a greeting and a menu. I placed my order and sat back to enjoy a good cigar at a great price. The food was average - but, the service was excellent AND the ability to smoke a cigar while eating fantastic (almost impossible to find in California due out stupid laws) I look forward to returning to Dallas and Elite cigar cafe! read more

I've only been here a few times so far, but we always enjoy ourselves. They have a great selection for our needs, staff is super friendly, and I like that they have a loyalty program even though it's a mom-and-pop kind of place. It's a good place to sit for a long smoking sesh, so I'm sure we will be coming back for a long time. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is that one of the times we were there, the bar wasn't very well stocked - had a hard time ordering a drink. And I wish they had a couple more healthy/low-carb options on the food menu, though I realize this is kind of ridiculous to ask of a bar that we patronize in order to imbibe carcinogens. WORST SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT EVER! I went to the Elite Cigar Cafe on Mar 31st because some friends recommended it to me and my husband, they sd it was a nice place to hang out. I was having a good time until the waiter (i think his name was JASON) lost my debit card. We were wondering why he kept giving my husband free drinks but we couldn't figure it out until we ask for the bill and it was clear to us that he was stalling for time. He came back to our table after looking for my card and ask me did I have it because he was sure he gave it back to me. After I reassured him that that wasn't the case and that I was ready to go, therefore I needed my debit card. He proceeded to tell me he asked all of the bar staff and no one has seen my card. 15 mins later, still no debit card and this jerk expected us to pay the bill. I called management (Tony) on Sunday, April 1st and he was no help! I left a message for him to call me back and he never did. My husband had to callback and we finally spoke to him and he apologized that he was understaffed and was unable to call me back. He informed me that someone from management would call me Monday because he was just the manager on call. It's April 9th and I have yet to receive any calls. It's so disheartening when you go out to have a great time because you're going through some things and someone causes you more problem. The one thing that keeps gnawing at me is the manager, Tony kept repeating, "I know what it's like to lose a card and how inconvenient it is to have to call merchants to inform them." This is a cool cigar shop with a big humidor and a full bar. My first stop was the restroom and my initial impression was that the place was a bit of a dive, but after spending some time there in restaurant I was very comfortable and rather enjoyed the atmosphere. There was no one in the large humidor to assist with questions but I knew what I was after so no big deal there. I didn't try the food so I cannot comment on that. My time there was pretty much just a few hours of drinks and stogies with a friend, but really, what more could a guy want? I had a good time at Elite Cigar Cafe. Looking around a bit, I could see there are plenty of regulars and it seems like it could be a good place for networking. I will be back in the future to check it out again. read more
