Save your money and head over to Saltgrass or something similar. I love great food and have no issue paying what we did at this place, if it's quality. We ordered a few things. My wife ordered a prickly pair cosmo that lacked everything from flavor to even the sense of alcohol being in it. I ordered the old fashioned, and I tasted old, like to use the whiskey in my Grandpa's, lowest shelf possible. And my grandpa didn't drink. The food we ordered was the seared tuna and a pasta with triple plate with a corn side and the green beans side. The tuna was absolutely amazing I do have to say, but unfortunately the broccoli florets were salt here than the dead sea. The pasta My wife ordered was overcooked to the point of being hard in some places and the shrimp seemed to undercooked. The signs were pretty good.I'm not gonna complain , but they were nothing to write home about. I do have to say though the service was absolutely amazing comma the young lady who took care of us was very attentive cordial and was there at every turn. We came here to celebrate my sister's birthday and also to see Vandell play sax in the cigar lounge. I've visited here before and I love love love the atmosphere! From setting the reservations, to arriving to valet, and then entering in the restaurant was a wonderful experience! They knew we were celebrating and they greeted us as such! Great smiles from the hosts and managers at the host stand, and just made us feel extremely welcome! My favorite restaurant I've been to in probably the last two years. I cannot overstate how much I loved the ambiance here. Dark wood "traditional and fancy," yet completely unstuffy. We all felt utterly relaxed. This was underscored by the outstanding service. Warm, friendly, helpful. And special kudos to Kyle for being the most personable and genuine server I've had in quite some time. Fantastic food overall. Bolognese, spiced salmon, pesto grilled shrimp, amazing deviled eggs!!, seared ahi, great breads and butter, flourless chocolate cake, cheesecake. Only complaints: capellini was clumpy which is always a risk with capellini. Brussels were chopped too finely and overcharred. Minor issues in light of the otherwise wonderful meal. I had been here for their cigar room but never for dinner but tonight we came t o celebrate my birthday with friends. We had a 6:45 reservation on a Saturday night and the restaurant was busy. You could feel the energy as we entered the restaurant. We were seated at an 8 top in the middle of one of the rooms. There appears to be a couple of different dining areas. It's a traditional steakhouse in terms of the layout but pretty cool that it has its own cigar lounge attached. We tried two mocktails which we both 10/10 The food was generally delicious. We tried: - coconut shrimp (10/10 still thinking about them days later lol) - the crab cakes (9/10 thanks to a squeeze of lemon!) - Chef's special - Veal (10/10) healthy portions, cooked to perfection and delicious mashed potatoes. The shrimp were a little over cooked but didn't take away from the main attraction, the Veal. - Chef's special - Pecan crusted halibut. The fish and sauce carried this dish (7/10) but the cheese in the wild rice paired with it completely turned me off. Which is super odd as a person who loves cheese - I don't recall it being mentioned and I don't know if I would have ordered it as is. Our waitress was nice and checked in a decent amount but oddly seemed short /rushed with her attentiveness where I never felt I had a moment to mentioned not caring for the rice before we asked for the check. I mentioned it when we were checking out and she was kind of dismissive like "so you want it boxed up without the rice" and didn't say much else. This place is everything. I absolutely love the cigar portion of this restaurant. You can actually enter through the red door that's on the side of the restaurant or come in through the front entrance! Love coming here on Thursday where they have the most amazing saxophone player Vandel, who plays a few sets of the most amazing music assortment lineup that will just keep jamming and relaxed all at the same time while either sipping on some water or a little something else! Also feel free to bring a cigar or two or they have a full cigar bar there for you! You won't get too smoky here so the installation system is definitely intact. My favorite thing to order here is the pork chops. I ordered every single time that I come, but they also have amazing other dishes as well from the ribeye to the sir lawn to the amazing duck, seafood, and more I have to tell you that I'm a big fan of the bread tray that comes out not a big fan of the pretzel roll, but I love the white brand and I love the garlic butter sauce that it comes with you will definitely eat this all the way up! Full bar service you could pull up with a group solo and sit at the bar or high top or come in with a big group! Reservations are definitely something that I would do if you have a big group so that you're insured to be set right when you arrive as they will hold a table for you! A fine restaurant with high grade steak experience. I can go on and on about services at steak houses all over DFW but I think Chamberlain's steals the show when it comes to the actual steak. The filet mignon was absolutely cooked to perfection when I asked for medium rare. It was so tender and soft at same time, with just the right amount of bloodiness. The portion was just right and none of the sides try too hard to overdo itself. I'm not big on heavy flavors so they were very suited to my taste.I vote the oysters tray to be the best appetizer. I don't have anything bad to say about this place. I googled top cigar lounges in Dallas and Chamberlain was in the top 3, so I made a last minute reservation for Saturday nite. I met up with one of my college besties and had a blast. We were lucky because they had live music. The musician was awesome. He sang everything from Michael Buble to Frank Sinatra. He sang one of my all time fav songs, TN Whiskey and I was sold. We ordered the steak baked potato (which was AHH-mazing), prawns (were pretty yummy too), couple yummy girly cocktails and I ended the night with my baileys and coffee. We each had the girly chocolatey cigars and had a blast! The desserts, omg! My Crème brûlée was amazing. Great atmosphere. We were seated in the Cigar room where I made a reservation for. Couples, groups, and local singles. You can tell who the regulars were. I frequent Davidoff across the Wynn in Vegas bc of my husband, so I kinda' got the feel. Couple ladies danced to the piano man, most watched and enjoyed while watching TV or conversing at the bar. We were seated at the round tables. Overall we had an awesome time. We will be back. The table was far too small for a party of four, making for an uncomfortable dining experience. The food was also disappointing. The bread served was stale, my Caesar salad was wilted, and one of our guests received a steak that was almost entirely fat. For a restaurant that presents itself as upscale, I expected much better quality. I was under the impression that there was a dress code, but it seems to be selectively enforced. A man in shorts and sneakers stopped by our table to make an offhanded comment, which made me question the restaurant's supposed standards. I won't be returning and cannot recommend this place. She made wonderful suggestions from the drink menu as well as starters to begin the evening. I decided on the chamberlain's infusion and it comes in a martini glass. My beau enjoyed a nice Riesling. For starters we enjoyed the house plate of bread that was extremely soft and tasty. We also enjoyed a nice bowl of lobster bisque. It was so good and had several bites of lobster embedded. Our entrees were lamb chops and New York strip. I paired the lamb chops with a loaded potato and broccoli. It meshed well and made me happy. The New York strip comes accompanied with a sea of garlic creamed potatoes. For dessert we went with the award winning key lime pie that was very much enjoyable. The warm pretzel & ciabatta bread that we started with soft and fresh and the butter was perfection. The old fashioned was alright, definitely not a favorite. We had the oysters which were impressive. Nice size and a sweetness at the end. I had crusted grouper, which was cooked to perfection, and two jumbo spicy shrimp and risotto. They were not very spicy but were jumbo and savory. We also had the Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Applewood Bacon which were addicting! My boyfriend ordered a steak with asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes and crab cakes, delicious), with Marsala on the side. Crem brûlée is my all time favorite dessert and it was delicious!
