Double checked other reviews because it wasn't my experience as others. I have a security cameras all round the home where Landscaping was to take place. I was told one thing and watched another. They had to come back 3 times to get it close to right. The cost was high and quality of work done was poor. I was miss lead and clean up after the work wasn't done. My in-laws called Elite Landscape to do their backyard project, which was referred by the neighborhood. John came and said he could do the backyard. He mentioned he was planning to take over the Elite Landscape company after Mark retired. He asked for money up front; however, only half of the work was done. We have sent out emails, made calls, and sent messages to try to reach out to him regarding the incomplete work. We are so disappointed; there have been no phone calls from John, and he hasn't shown up. Additionally, we tried using the Elite Landscape phone number and email, but neither of them connected or received a response. They are not trustworthy, and we will never use their services again. read more

Mark with elite gardening is amazing. Like everyone who moves into a new construction house here in Bako, we moved into our dream house... with a bit chunk of dirt for a backyard. We got 4 other quotes for the yard before we finally called Mark. He was like a breath of fresh air! He was able to create our dream yard well within our budget. The other people we talked too either had prices twice our budget (and we didn't really want anything crazy) or one quoted prices so low, we were worried about the quality and whether he was really quoting us for everything. Marks price point was perfect for us. And his work was better than we could have hoped. He has been doing this for a long time and had fantastic ideas that made our yard even better. We wanted 6 fruit trees and he had great suggestions for more trees and shrubs to complete our yard since we really had no idea what else to plant. We asked for a fire pit area as well and wanted turf along our side yard so we could turn it into a play yard for our kids. The fountain with the gorgeous flower bed was all his idea. The most valuable part of using Mark though is that he is very accommodating. The yard was done very quickly, and the guys he employed to do the cement work, turf and our sliding gate, were also reasonably priced and provided the highest quality work. At one point we realized our cement boarder was further from the wall then we wanted, we told him, and he promptly fixed it. Also a few patches of grass died and he quickly fixed those as well. He added gorgeous lights to illuminate the trees. He also thinks ahead, so he added a special irrigation system to our trees so the roots will not grow up and ruin the cement boarder. On top of all this, he is easy to reach, extremely friendly and dedicated to making you happy. Make no mistake about it, his prices may seem too good to be true but he work is the best in town! read more

I called Elite landscape to fix my sprinklers. John came said he could fix the sprinklers. He asked for money up front. He is buying the company. Mark sold the co to him. John put a French drain in. Had call them back they did a poor job on the French drain. John did a bad job on my sprinklers. I am loosing my flowers. Now have to go and water them by hand. Called John he said he would come and fix the sprinklers it has been 2 weeks no phone call from John and no show from JOHN. He talks a good talk. His word is no good!!! I will never use them again. I would by pass Elite landscape find someone that will do the job right the first time. You will be waiting for ever for them to come back to fix their bad work. read more

When I wanted to change my small courtyard, I searched for reviews for landscapers. Elite Came up as a 4 star rating in google, so I decided to give them a try. I am so very sorry that I did!!!! I gave Mark a huge budget to work within, and sadly I couldn't get Mark to do the work to my satisfaction. He picked out all my plants, without my agreement. I had no say in color of my plants, at all... I didn't want to mess with it, and just wanted someone, who I thought knew what he was doing, to do things right, without me having to watch what he was doing, to get it done right. Well, I wish that I had looked closely to the reviews, as they were all posted while he still had his crews working for him. He stated to me that he was retired, however he had many jobs going, trying to do them all by himself. He rushed through everything, and sadly I have dead plants, sprinkler leaks and lots of undone things that he should have taken care of... This will not be my last interaction with Mark Peterson, as I plan to take him to court to recoup some of the money he was paid. Problems with our sprinkler system prompted my wife to do a little research on local companies - she called Mark at Elite Garden and Landscape. He was able to send someone out the very next day. John from Elite called the next morning to let us know he was running a bit late - about 20 minutes - and he showed up just when he said he would. I know... big deal, right? It sort of is because the track record of those in the service industry have greatly disappointed me lately. John got it done quickly and it was a fair price. I know it was a simple job and that businesses like Elite don't make the bucks on little residential jobs like our - but I was impressed and truly grateful that Mark and John found the time to assist. Bad wiring and crap work from a backyard rehab botched by another company two years ago was the problem. John recognized this pretty quickly... reinforced what we suspected anyway... even dug up and capped a renegade line that the previous, failed company I just mentioned neglected to do. Got it done in about 20 minutes. No joke. John was professional and knew his stuff. I wish we had found and known about Elite two years ago when we had work done in the backyard originally... especially given we are still fixing their mistakes two years down the road. Would not recommend!! Replaced 3 hedges that were not the same, and they died immediately. He wouldn't do anything about it.

Called to make an appt. for sprinkler reapair and was told that they were too busy and I needed to call someone else.
