I saw a few different people at first and just booked whoever was available, but started to book Ron and Ephraim since their time and availability always seemed to work with my schedule. I could definitely feel my knee/leg getting stronger and was often sore (in a good workout kind of way) and they never pushed me when I couldn't complete any sets. They really listened to feedback when I was sore and had pain and adjusted the entire workout around my feedback as well as the post workout treatment. I had a great experience with everyone including the front desk which was great with providing the receipts I needed for my hsa/fsa claims. Hopefully I won't be a repeat patient, but i won't hesitate to use them again if needed.

Aside from my experience receiving PT treatment, I was a massage therapist and instructor at a career college for many years, so I am very knowledgeable about these things, and PT only helps if the therapist knows what they're doing. I work with Ally. I wasn't sure how it was going to go after the first assessment, but once we got rolling along I have been very happy with the service and knowledge and effectiveness of what she and the staff have been able to do with my therapy. Like most of these places, they are over-booked (I should have gone into this profession, they seem to have more patients than they know what to do with), but as long as you make your appointments well in advance, you can usually get them when you want them. Treatment rooms are clean and comfortable, plenty of parking. The front office staff is professional and friendly. The aides I've worked with so far have all been great. The gym is a bit small, but I haven't had a lot of time in there. It's great that they will give you a printout of your exercises and/or you can access them via the app. I still kind of miss my PT in Calabasas, but that's a long way away, and I can say I finally found something in the neighborhood that works for me.

The people there were incredibly kind and wonderful, but despite more than a year of treatment, I simply wasn't getting better. Then I found Bechtel Physical Therapy. I am not exaggerating when I say I made more progress in my first three visits at Bechtel than I did in over a year at the previous clinic. Are they more expensive than where I was going before? Yes. Are they worth it? Absolutely. But really, they ended up being less expensive in the long run because I improved so quickly. I only needed a few weeks of treatment to accomplish what an entire year elsewhere couldn't. I personally work with Daniel, and all I can say is: holy hell, that man has magic hands. Because I was improving so much, I started addressing other issues as well. Susan (fabulous) worked with me on pelvic floor physical therapy after surgery - and Bryn (beyond incredible!) helped me recover from symptoms related to a concussion I suffered from AND adjusted my surgery scars. The random aches and pains of pregnancy have been manageable with her guidance and care. Generally, I have it under control, but when it flares, it flares. The PT exercises and other tools I typically used to manage it were no longer really helping. Enter Myo and Dr. Bahar Gord. Right from the first assessment, she was so attentive and really listened to my concerns. She watched my movement and honed in immediately on what was plaguing me and saw the full picture, not just the one issue. I told her I already had an arsenal of exercises -- the typical core, glute, hip flexor approaches and that I was looking for something that would be complimentary. She immediately saw something deeper and ever since, she has been incredible. I have learned a whole new set of PT exercises and an approach to the deep core that I had been missing from prior exercises (which aren't wrong or bad, they just weren't getting to the core of the issue. Countless doctors told me my pain was not pelvic floor-related and then kept prescribing medications for my bladder that didn't help. I felt dismissed and hopeless. She took the time to truly listen and understand my complex symptoms. And yes -- pelvic floor dysfunction was a major part of it.
