This past weekend I got married out of state and of course all of my family and friends were attending which left me with no other alternative other than to locate a pet sitter. I looked high and low and just could not find anyone I trusted enough, then out of the blue, my now husband found Steph's information and we could not be happier. The first time we spoke I knew everything was going to be great. My kids adored her and so did we! The first night away I was still a little sad that I had to leave them and then out of nowhere Steph sent a text with a picture of my boy looking very happy which put my mind at ease for the rest of my time away. Unfortunately I found this place very pet friendly, when it comes to pets who are playful with other dogs but for rescue dogs this place is quite alarming. Basically Brownie doesn't do well with other dogs immediately but he is pretty good with humans and is a pretty alert guard dog. But whenever he goes to Fuzzy Butts, first of all they insist on keeping him locked up in a kennel, and second he always comes back with bruises, dry skin and overall having a very dull spirit than usual as if he was tortured in the habitat. As these guys don't have a camera, now I am not sure whether that's true as even this time Brownie is having a bloody bruise on his cheeks, and nose and even some on his elbows. I am not sure if these animal daycare facilities get any kind of audit or they just run their business on the basis of whatever they feel ethical against animal rights. I am very disappointed by the type of service they have provided to us as a customer as compared to the price they charged us on a daily basis.

I advertised for dog walkers on Nextdoor and received a few responses from kids and other dog lovers. When Jack Feldmann the owner of Your Pet's Best Friend reached out to me, it was immediately apparent that he is a professional -- the real deal. He and his associate, Kevin Wilson, were totally unfazed by Zippy's size and potential for problems. Both developed great relationships with our monster dog and managed him beautifully. In addition they got the mail, put out the trash, and several other nice extras. I am more than happy with their service. My cat was calm and contented when we returned home. They left written reports of what happened at each visit, and during the week we got pictures of our pet texted several times. She leaves us nice notes every day and takes a lot of time to pet the cats. She even tidies up our house some, which we generally leave a wreck as we're trying to get out the door. We never even asked her to do that, but it is so nice to come home to no mess! Rae has also been super flexible with us. When we found out our cat had an infection (via Vet's phone call) while we were out of town, she was able to change the schedule to come twice a day instead of once to give him his medicine. When we went into the hospital to have our baby, she had no problem coming to feed the cats so last minute! In short, I highly recommend Life of Rylee, so call her!
