I was able to get a reasonable quote for the job and have the work done on the same day which was important in minimizing the inconvenience for my tenants. The technician was communicative, concise, and offered what I believe to be a fair price. They offered a 2 hour timeframe for arrival time which I believe is fair. I do wish there was a way to get updates on the day of with a more specific anticipated ETA to maximize my time leading up to their arrival. This job took coordination between Elite, SDGE and I to get this approved and completed. Jesse Walters came, he always does a great job, polite and answers all my questions. I had a terrible experience with Elite Power Electric. What was supposed to be a 6 hour job turned into multiple days work and an unfinished job. I paid a fortune to move my electrical panel from the closet and get it up to current code. The agreement was to get it ready and in shape for drywall repairs. This is how they left it - - The overhead light is literally hanging out of the ceiling on exposed wires - The wires in the closet have no slack are in no shape for drywall repairs - The electrical panel is not labeled so I have no idea what breakers are for what They also tried to charge me an additional $1000 beyond the initial quote!!!!! I have called their office every single day for the past week and they are offering no help. If they had any respect for their customers they would give me a partial refund or AT MINIMUM call me back and send someone to fix these issues. read more

Unfortunately, my experience with Elite was frustrating from start to finish--the name doesn't match the service. I was given a 7am-10am arrival window for a small job, so I made sure to be ready early that morning. Closer to 10am, I received a call saying the electrician would arrive then. Fine. But more time passed, and still no one. I texted to ask for an update and was told he was 35 minutes away. When he finally arrived, he was friendly and professional--but only stayed for about 15 minutes and charged me $74 just for the visit--to be used for the future work. He said he could do the work, but the quote was astronomically high. I asked about a military discount, and he offered one. Still pricey and I was under the impression--based on what the office told me--that the work would be done that same day. Turns out he had another job lined up. He offered to come back the next day. A new window was set: 9am-11am after verifying with the scheduler; I sensed apprehension because of this other job when he was on the phone. But he said he'd be there right at 9, the work could take about an hour and I kindly asked him not to be late--he agreed. The next day? No show. Midway through the window, I got a call saying he had "called out." I was over it because of that initial apprehension I sensed & my work was a small job. I canceled the appointment on the spot. What bothered me most was that I wasn't notified until during the window--when I was already waiting around, AGAIN. Plus bad first impression. For the rate they are charging I expect exceptional service. They said a manager named Andre would call me. He did, nice guy, and he tried to make it right, offering another small discount and asking how he could earn my business. But at that point, I was done. I had already decided to go with someone else; I was on a time crunch. The electrician I hired instead is doing the exact same work for HALF THE PRICE Elite quoted me. I'm relieved it didn't work out. Sadly, this experience showed me that customers really need to compare prices--and reliability--before committing to Elite. read more

Poor service and high prices. My plaster wall was damaged in an outlet install. I was told all they could do was throw some spackle on it which I have come to learn is an inappropriate way to repair a plaster wall. I was given a larger outlet cover to cover it up.
