I was leaving work and a tow truck driver for this company was pulling out of a business and did not look before pulling out of the driveway and almost caused and accident. I needed my truck towed to my mechanic and naively thought the ideal way to make this happen was to use the Roadside Assistance feature that is included in my insurance policy (State Farm). The tow services they work with in Vegas are ABYSMAL. I cancelled the first one after waiting FIVE HOURS. I cancelled the second one after they didn't show, but told State Farm they DID. Turns out AERO (the company State Farm uses) has a lot of negative reviews in other cities and states as well. I took matters into my own hands and reached out to Elite Towing. Nelson is the GOAT. Fantastic people to work with. Clean equipment, professional people. I needed to move a vehicle that was not running. I had a work schedule to deal with as well as the available times at the destination. I called to see if I could schedule a tow. This was absolutely not a problem for them. I made arrangements for a date and time, gave them both addresses. I got a text back in 10 minutes with a very fair quote to move a big vehicle. On move day the driver showed up 5 minutes early! I was already impressed. I showed him where the vehicle was and he backed the truck in over a tricky incline and past a wall in one try. Wow. Vehicle was loaded in minutes, and he doubled checked the destination address with me. Once confirmed he headed out. I met him at the destination. Elite was one of the couple of companies to respond to my request for a quote on Yelp, and it was quick. They were also the most reasonable. "Reasonable" meaning they are actually GOOD at what they do, and COULD charge more... but don't. I needed to have my broken-down Monte Carlo towed to a storage yard. It was a matter of timing between when I got off work (which I can never plan), and when the yard closes, and hope to get a tow truck in that narrow space of time. It had to be today, because my complex wasn't diggin' my broken down car sitting on the property gathering tree leaves, pollen, and bird sh...
