If you need a Tesla towed anywhere around the Peninsula, Dwaine and his crew are great at it. II was in an accident on 101, and had my car towed home until I could talk with my insurance adjuster, and figure out where to take her (which turned out to be Chilton Auto Body on Quarry Rd in San Carlos--Tesla certified shop). I worked with Elite, and John came out, but we needed assistance with the car's disabled electronics, so he called his buddy John out. They got my car's electrics back, and were able to roll her onto their carrier's platform, instead of having to drag her. Dwaine is the best person to work with. He's helped towed several of my cars in the last several years when we needed his services. He's quick to reply, gets the job done fast. Nobody has been as careful with my car as Dwaine has. I'm not sure what the other reviewers are experiencing, maybe they used a different company? I agree with Michael C. They towed my car and damaged it so badly. It's ok that they towed my car because I parked after business hours. But they DESTROYED my front alignment. I tool my car to a repair shop and they even said " This damage was done while towing, the towing company should be responsible for this damage". I got a call from the repair shop and it seems the damage is pretty sever. I am also filing a small claim lawsuit against this company. It's ok to tow but NOT ok to destroy a car. They are very unprofessional and don't fxckin care about people's cars. I will ask for the rental car (while I did not have a car) and $$ for days I missed my work because I did not have the car. I asked for the manager but it seems the manager is taking LONG LONG vacation. Never heard from them I am so ready to taking this business down. People have parked in my parking spot five times overnight in the past month. Each time I call them, they come up with some excuse as to why they can't come tow the car. Some excuses included a child running away, so he needed to go catch him. Another included the towing truck not working anymore (how do you run a towing company with a nonfunctional towing truck???) Even when the apartment manager called them, they never showed up. Don't use this company. You'd have better luck pushing the car out of your spot. Edit: Oh yea, and when they said that the towing truck wasn't working, I was told that it would be working again in the morning the next day, and to call back then. They will take your car from a dealership service yard. They will not inform you that they have your car. Hold it for several days and send you a lien letter that if you don't pay several thousand dollars they will sell your car. Yes, this happened to me. I thought my car was to be repaired at Boardwalk Nissan in RWC, received and estimate, we contacted service and left message a few times but nobody returned my calls. Figured they must be closed due to Covid-19 lockdown. Unknown to me, the Boardwalk Nissan and the Elite Towing decided to make some money off us by taking our vehicle and file a lien on it. Elite towing let us know by mail after 25 days in the form of a lien that we owe them $85/day plus filing and other fees totalling over $2000. What a scam these companies have. Be warned that Elite Towing has something very wrong going on here. read more

The positive reviews for this company look fake. No one likes to get their car towed. However, the predatory pricing and games this (and other towing companies) play should be illegal. I called to have my car towed and talked to the type of person that likes to call everyone "guy." (eg. "We can be out there in 45 minutes tops, guy.") They told me it would take about an hour so I waited. No one came and they said another 30 minutes. No one came. Another 30 minutes. No one came. Called and the person said i cancelled ("Didn't you cancel, buddy?". Oh yeah, he likes to throw a "buddy" in there once in a while). I hung up and called another towing company. read more

First off for all of the negative reviewers, all of you that have been towed, you were towed by the city that dispatches tow companies because you broke the law and the city also controls the storage tow fees, so I don't know why you're bad mouthing this company in particular. The reason why I give them 5 stars is for multiple instances but I'll tell one example in particular. My elderly mother who drives a BMW was stuck in foster city and called her insurance company for a tow. After an hour and a half of nobody showing she called elite. They were out there in 15-20 mins and had her hooked up within 5 mins of showing up. There was no damage to her car from the tow and they were very reasonable and considerate. I can't ever remember ever being happy to call a tow company, but twice in the last several months I called "Elite Towing" ( I liked the name). The call was answered very quickly and I can honestly say Elite towing was faster then any of the AAA tow trucks I've used in the past. My Custom Harley broke down on the freeway and Elite towing responded within a few minutes after calling them. They towed my bike to Dudley Perkins in South San Francisco and I found these guys very professional and they put my mind at ease. My bike was treated with extra care. I kept their card and would trust them with any of my vehicles. Not sure why those other comments are nasty. Maybe because they were butt hurt when they Illegally parked and then had to pay up. I hardly think that getting towed by a professional towing company could damage a cars alignment. Get a life....and then pay for your own alignment. read more

Jill Green is completely unprofessional and I think this agency is a complete scam. This year, this company attempted to scam my child, not a minor, out of thousands of dollars for a car that was released from his liability in 2018. She harassed him, berated me and could not justify any claim of being owed any money for a car towed this year. This company is a complete SCAM. Jill wanted my son to pay $500 every two weeks for less that two months to pay a negotiated $3k tow expense. WHAT?! The government doesn't even collect to that extent. BEWARE!!! Well, of course no one is happy when their car gets towed for parking illegally but I can say I did get prompt answers and professional service with Elite Towing. I called first thing this morning and then met at the yard within one hour to retrieve the vehicle. Everything was accounted for, including a substantial amount of money that was in the glove compartment. I was in a car accident yesterday on El Camino Real in San Mateo. Once I completed the claim with my insurance company I called the body shop and they called Elite Towing. Six minutes later Duane called me tolet me knwo he was on his way and arrived at my location 5 minutes later. I also needed a ride since I could not drive my vehicle. Duane not only gave me a ride he stopped at a grocery store and bought me a bottle of water because my airbag deployed and I was thirsty. He was, professional, caring and an overall very nice guy and I highly recommend him if you ever need a tow! read more

OMG - Dec. 11, 2014 RAIN and flooding thruout the Bay Area..... Really did not expect ANY tow company to be able to do a tow quickly today . Called Dwayne - and within 2 minutes he AND his driver stopped by our shop to get address of where I needed a car to be picked up ( which is over an hour away ) I gave him the opportunity to postpone until tomorrow, but he went over and beyond to handle it asap ! NOT expected. People not in a service business, really don't get it. The price of living in the Bay Area is high. Doing business in the Bay Area is even higher - which, if you think is a rip off - consider this : rent, equipment loans, insurance, workermans comp ( which I'm sure is HUGE for a tow company w/ employees - think of the risk involved and the owner has to pay to cover his guys ), general liability insurance, AND gas ! Stop hating ! As a body shop owner, I have dealt with, and deal with tow companies and tow yards that do deserve bad ratings . Elite - in my opinion - does not.... We all have bad days, we all make mistakes . If you made the mistake and had to pay for a tow - own it, learn from it, and move on - stop hating on companies that are scraping by to earn a living. Because it's not all going in the owners pocket - there are alot of expenses involved in running a business. On my review - Thanks Dwayne - for the quick tow. I needed a jump start on my car and started calling towing companies. I called 3 places. The first two that I called quoted me a price that I thought was very high and also a time frame that was longer than I could wait for. I called Elite and they gave me a very fair price and said they could be here in 20 minutes. To my surprise they should up within 10 minutes and charged me the amount that I was quoted over the phone. Duane, the driver, was very nice and was great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a jump or tow in there area. Please note that this is not a fake review. read more
