Yes, there are a few places that offer Sicilian style pizza in the area, but not many, and it has been very hard to replace the Sicilian pizza at Slice of Napoli since it closed. I've heard Brother's in downtown Winston has a good Sicilian but they have limited hours and I just haven't made it in. So, for now it will be Little Caesars deep dish. Considering their headquarters is in Detroit, Michigan, they should know deep dish pizza. We saw a few weeks ago that a new location was coming to Clemmons. It is located in the strip mall between Aldi's and Lowe's Foods off Lewisville Clemmons Road. We believe this location opened earlier this week because my wife read on Facebook that their grand opening was today, Saturday, July 20th, 2024. We were already planning to be in the area so we stopped in to place an order for the 3 meat treat deep dish for less than $15.00. There were several other people picking up or placing orders and the young lady behind told me it would be approximately 15 minutes. We ran a quick errand next door and came back in just over 15 minutes. I was told the pizza was still in the oven but just a minute or two later they called my name and I walked out with my deep dish pizza. I opened up the box to take a peek and it looked perfect. This was a great first visit, especially considering they just opened. and its likely that most of the employees are still learning. I felt like the slice with the peppers wasn't ran through the oven at all and maybe just the slice was put in the oven for shorter than usual. The staff was friendly, and quick to get our pizzas assembled. It wasn't long at all, and we were on our way with 2 pizza's ready to cook. They provide very clear instructions for cooking, and once we got home we put them in the over...about 20 minutes later and they were cooked to perfection and tasted great. It's rare we're in that part of town, but whenever we are, and get their pizza, we are always very satisfied with the price, options and quality.
