Used Elizabeth Tailoring for my wedding dress and it was done perfectly! My dress had multiple layers which made it more complicated. She was able to hem it, take it in everywhere (including sleeves) , add a bustle, keep the pockets and add cups since I had to go without a bra. Was easy to get scheduled in and she had everything done on time and perfectly!

I was lucky enough to find Elizabeth on Yelp and she had great reviews. I took my wedding dress 4 weeks prior to my wedding date and she did a great job. She hemmed, fixed the sleeves, took in my dress, hand sewed the belt and the dress fit perfectly. At my wedding everyone complimented my dress. Let me tell you- I'm leaving for my friends wedding in 3 days, I'm a bridesmaid and I got my dress delivered a week ago. It didn't fit at all. Zipper wasn't closing and it just felt small and too long all together. If I ordered another dress it wasn't going to get here in time so I took a leap of faith and asked Elizabeth to make my dress shorter since I'm short and it was long and to make it to fit me since it was small. She was my life saver because in a week she made a miracle happen and did everything I asked for. The dress fits perfectly and I'm now ready for my friends wedding this week! I absolutely love Elizabeth!! I started going to her about two years ago for pant and regular dress alterations. This year she did my wedding dress and bachelorette dresses. I don't think I would trust anyone else. I was nervous about the alterations I asked her for - because she literally changed the entire top of my wedding dress - but it came out amazing! She will tell you what works and what doesn't while making sure you get what you want. Highly recommend! She's my favorite. read more

She truly is remarkable! I went to her because my zipper was creating a bump in my dress and I was in tears after spending 4,000 on my dress. She gave me options and told me she's going to do her best. Well she forsure helped me! Sewed in a corset and made me so happy I almost cried! I'm very impressed with Elizabeth's work. My wedding is next month and my dress was too big, laced with lots of beading. She's a very nice lady and made me feel comfortable, she's honest in case if things would or would not look right when I would ask for her opinion. I am so excited for my wedding and my dress fits so perfectly. My dress was probably one of the most difficult dresses to work on and she handled it with no hesitation. I would definitely recommend her for any alterations. I was recommended to her by my best friend who is currently getting her wedding dress altered as well. Elizabeth was an answered prayer! I received my wedding dress from the store 4 weeks before the wedding and it was 2 sizes too big. I was very panicked after another seamstress said it would take her too long because of the difficulty of the fabric and she wouldn't be able to finish it in time. I'm so thankful for Elizabeth, she took my appoint right away, she was so sweet and didn't have a second thought as to whether she could fix it. I received my dress on time with all the alterations I needed. She also altered my mom and sister's dress in that short time period too! She was amazing, can't go wrong! read more

I took my wedding dress to get altered, but sadly did not have a good experience, nice lady but very forgetful. Honestly i was very hesitant to leave a review because she is nice, and i felt bad leaving a bad review. But for anyone thinking about taking their wedding dress to her just make sure she writes everything down. I asked for 3 things: removable straps, pockets, and a bustle. She did the bustle but used large round buttons, she said she couldnt find small black buttons at the store. When i asked for detachable shoulder straps just incase i wanted to tke them off while dancing, she sewed them on permanent (i waited for her to take them off because i didnt like them). To top it off, she only made one pocket , because she said the other side of the dress wouldnt look good with a pocket! My dress is symmetrical! I dont know how she thought one pocket would be fine. I didnt want to leave my dress in her hands any longer so i just took it and thanked her, but not going back. read more

I was very skeptical about altering my wedding dress due to the detail on it and kept delaying it. I looked at many different tailors before committing to Elizabeth and she was just a breath of fresh air. She has many years of experience working with wedding dresses and reassured me everything was going to be okay and she knew what she was doing. She hemmed my dress and added a bustle. Very nice and sweet lady however I firmly believe that communication with customer is key. I had to wait an hour because the dress wasn't ready (she asked me to come at 6:30 and dress still like wasn't ready) I get it she's busy because it's prom season but had she told me she was running late I would of came later or another day, especially since I am not feeling well. She had the dress for 2 full weeks... During the fitting another customer walks in and is watching, made me feel extremely uncomfortable, owner should have asked other customer to wait outside. Lastly, she sewed one layer of the dress on to the main layer, basically she made a mistake and I still had to pay full price. Thankful for her services but I will never come back again. Services here are pricey considering the fact that she is running a business from home. read more

Horrible customer service. dropped off an external body armor vest carrier to have patches stitched…read moreon. not a big deal, or so I thought. came the next day to pick it up only to find out he had stitched all the way through the vest, in a way that does not allow me to insert my plates in the carrier. I apologized as I realized I did not explain it the day prior and I showed him what I needed there. He looks at it and says "no problem". takes it to his table, works on it for a couple minutes and calls me over to look. He did the exact same thing as the first time. I explained to him again what I needed, which caused him to look visibly upset at me. The guy then yells at me and says it's going to be an extra 10 bucks. I did not appreciate that he was willing to charge me more than I had already paid for his mistake. if he would of told me the first time it was going to be 10, I would have been more accepting of it. The worker then began arguing with me when I said I was going to go somewhere else. Very rude guy, will never return to him. Luckily there was another alteration place inside the Rio Rancho Mall.
