We needed our vehicle serviced. I made an appointment online. We drove up to the service garage. No line. Which was nice. I got out of my car and went to the service office. Everything went well. There was a part that needed to be replaced on my car. They did not have it in stock and will need to order it. I'm still waiting on the phone car to bring my car back in to replace the part. Also, if you use a credit card, there is a 3% service charge. There is not a service fee if you use your ATM/Debit card. I was just surprised on a big company to do this. They need to find a better credit company if they are going to charge your customers 3% to use their credit card. That is steep, especially if I have my service is going to be in the hundreds of dollars. I know some small mom and pop stores have a 1.5 % service charge. That is ok, I understand that. Who carries cash anymore. I don't use my ATM/Debit card to purchase anything. Too much of a risk for someone to scan the number of my ATM and have access directly to my account.

I can't say enough good things about my experience here, first I was looking for a hybrid vehicle at an affordable price so I assumed the base model would fit the bill. Eli took the time to research my location (I live in the mountains where there is snow and an AWD would be best but assumed it was out of my price range), calculated the difference in cost and pulled the vehicle out of "the back" as it wasn't listed yet (just arrived) and took me out for a test drive. The experience was pleasant and enjoyable. Niko was awesome and treated me with the utmost respect, streamlining the appraisal of my vehicle I was trading in, making sure I was comfortable with a drink and some coffee, helping me keep my monthly payments and interest rates for financing within my goal range, he ensured I was COMPLETELY satisfied with the experience from start to finish and he is the primary reason I bought from this dealer. The gentleman who submitted my finance application and ran my credit made me feel respected and appreciated as a veteran and went out of his way to give me a military discount and find the right lender. The finance team who did the paperwork worked hard to give me a great maintenance package and warranty package that fit my budget and honored my Costco discount. Last, I had an aftermarket sound system in the car and Eli along with the service department ensured that I was able to get my sound system removed efficiently and worked with my schedule to do so. For the record, the dealership was clean, comfortable, and customer friendly. Even though everyone was busy, everyone seamlessly worked together regardless of who was getting the sale. This showed me that the most important thing was the customer service experience rather than their commissions. Whoever the dealership managers are for each department deserves recognition for this trait as it is unprecedented and hard to find these days. This was hands down the best experience I have EVER had buying a car (and I've bought quite a few). I'll be referring family and friends. Thank you Elk Grove Kia, sincerely.

My experience at Elk Grove Kia was very suspect other than Adam. I will never purchase another vehicle from this location. Mike was extremely rude, aggressive, and treats women in a very threatening manner. I understand Mike has had multiple customer complaints and will be transferring out of a customer service area. Brandon, one of their financial supervisors is equally just as rude and threatening. Brandon's priority is to inform customers at 11 AM. He still hasn't had his coffee. He wasn't joking when he said this. Brandon also never smiled and literally threw our papers across the table at the mention of a Yelp review. My advice, if you want to purchase a Kia, which I feel is a good vehicle, please go to another location.

Advertised special pricing which was not honored

Stay away! This dealership engages in illegal "bait and switch" scams. I inquired about a new Kia Seltos advertised on Elk Grove Kia's website for $26,254 on their website as a monthly special. When I inquired about the vehicle, the vehicle in question was still available. Eli asked me to come down in person to talk numbers. I live over an hour away, so I asked if we can work out the deal on paper before I head over. They proceed to offer the car at that price contingent on me purchasing $1300 worth of aftermarket add-ons. None of this was disclosed in the fine print of the ad. This is deceptive and illegal and I will be filing a complaint with the state.

Tonee was a great salesman. Very informative and kind. They went out of there way to find what we were looking for. Highly recommend! Thanks Elk Grove Kia!!!

Be very careful entering into a contract with Fiance personnel! They now give out a flashdrive of your contract which could be incorrect.

My experience has mostly been with Sabastian, but the entire team is amazing. I've been to several auto shops before finding this place, and I am so glad I did. As someone with little knowledge and experience with cars, Sabastian went above and beyond to help me understand the issues before any repairs began. His quote was fair--I would say below market rate--and reasonable. After the repairs, he showed me exactly what was done under the hood and where the new part was placed. I've never met a more honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy professional in the industry--I've been to many! This is now my new go-to auto shop. This place is top-tier, and I highly recommend giving them a call if you need auto service. You'll be a repeat customer!

I didn't even mind waiting, because Gabriel was so nice, but Rafael was awesome. I almost waited til I had time to take it out to Roseville Infiniti, where I would need to go for any warranty related service, but I am so glad I came here instead. I am very pleased with this crew, and I've purchased and serviced many cars here since this placed opened. I especially can't wait to get my car washed through the free car wash. I do wish that they still offered to vacuum and wash the car for us with our service because I'm 73 this year, and have health issues that makes it very difficult for me. The waiting area is comfortable, and they have a vending machine now, with snacks and special drinks, even though the service does not require a long wait. Looks like coffee and a water dispenser is provided for customers. I was in and out in no time! Thank you Rafael and Gabriel!

This has saved us the hassle of bring in the car to an auto shop. We had a loud screeching noise coming from our car and Aaron was able to diagnose the problem as a faulty engine belt tensioner. He also picked up on another sound that turned out to be a worn water pump. He also helped us replace the brakes. He took the time to show us the old vs new parts, helping us see and understand the issues. His transparency and technical knowledge gave us full confidence in his work. Not only is Aaron skilled and experienced (15 years of experience), but his pricing is also very reasonable. He never tried to upsell unnecessary work and focused only on what needed to be done to maintain our car. He also worked to find better pricing on parts to accommodate our budget since we decided to take care of a lot of maintenance with him. We are grateful to have found Aaron and will definitely be relying on him for all future maintenance, oil changes, and any repairs needed on our car.

I asked for a diagnosis and to fix the major issues with the car. There will be a lot of maintenance for a nearly 40 year old car, so I understand it's harder to diagnose immediately. It took a YEAR AND A HALF to get my car back. I paid nearly $7000 in work for parts and labor. After A YEAR AND A HALF, I got my car back in 2025. I had called repeatedly in the meantime before, every time they said they were "waiting on parts" or "we're getting to it this week", if you genuinely are so backed up with car work for over a year you are extremely unprofessional. The worst part wasn't even the wait, the day I got the car back I took it to Costco, and IT BROKE DOWN THE SAME DAY I GOT IT. I had to tow it back, and they said it was a failing fuel pump (which was the original reason I even brought the car in). They then proceeded to charge me another $1200 after they just "fixed it". This still is not the worst part, while under their care, the original red paint has been sun damaged from sitting unprotected in their front parking lot, the front BMW logo had worn off from the sun, they even put the faded BMW symbol inside the car like it's fixable, the DASH IS CRACKED, and my subwoofer was STOLEN and cut out from the trunk. When I asked the worker if they had removed the subwoofer out of the trunk for any work he said "I have no idea, that cars been here since before I started working here", so I asked the main person dealing with my car and he said "sorry sometimes people can get into it from the parking lot". EXTREMELY unprofessional, careless staff. I should have taken legal action when it originally happened, but at the time I just wanted my car back and wanted them as far away as possible. Paying over $8k just for the car to be in worse shape than when I had brought it in. DO NOT EVER, EVER take your car here if you want a reliable shop. They are no where near professional. I still think about this situation all the time, and it never fails to ruin my day. Awful place. Wish I could give it 0 stars.

TRIGGER WARNING (DON'T LOOK AT OLD REVIEWS. NEW ACTUAL GREAT HONEST MECHANIC HERE)…read more The registration and smog is due on my 2004 Mazda next week (i know it's old but with minivan prices today, i know what i have and don't want to give it up that easily), but with the check engine light BLINKING+ other problems I knew no way I would get smog passed. I called around a few places (some others I found on yelp with promising reviews), but they were booked until the next week, and registration being due in a few days, I decided to drive down Elk Grove Blvd a little bit more and I saw the Complete Performance sign nestled next to a gas station in Old Town Elk Grove. I parked and who would be Ben came out right away and asked me how he could help. I told him everything wrong (flashing check engine light, rough idling, jerky transmission, oil burning smell). He walked me into the office, took my info and said he's get on it RIGHT AWAY! I wasn't sold yet and was thinking about just getting his diagnosis then moving on and trying again with another mechanic, but once I gave him the keys (and getting ready to call an uber to get back home about a mile away) , he said "do you need a ride home?" That's when I was like okay, wow I'm going with this guy, he does have some hospitality and availability. Quite the rarity! He called me a few hours later and mentioned I had bad spark plugs and a bad intake boot (and one other thing I don't remember). I remember seeing his labor rate on the wall in the office and I even ended up calling around and was relieved that his rate was the market rate (California is generally just high with this). Also, He would be DONE by end of business tomorrow (a 1 day turnaround was music to my ears right now!) which means I could get this registered and passed for smog before the registration expires. After initial estimate, I was worried, not because I thought it was high (because I knew the other labor rates in the area would cost me the same for labor+parts), but because the car was so old. I wanted to give up on this car and just file for planned non operation. He stopped, listened and worked out a deal with me that would include a guaranteed smog pass after repairs were made + a warranty so I would be covered for these issues in the future.
