Although I arrived early, the noise inside was tremendous; there is nothing to absorb the chatter and it was very hard to hear my clients speaking, despite being at the same table. The table was clean...sort of. It had been wiped with a wet rag, and the surface was sticky and unpleasant; a good scrubbing with Murphy's Wood Soap would have made a tremendous improvement. Our server was pleasant and friendly; I do not recall his name. He was very young. I ordered a diet soda which came reasonably quickly; however, it was more syrup than fizz and I did not care for it. For $4 a well-mixed soda should not be an issue. My clients and I ordered a standard deep-dish pizza (I don't remember the toppings) which arrived in about thirty minutes or thereabouts. Well. The crust was delicious: hot and steaming fresh, with a wonderful flavour. The toppings were cold. I don't know how you order a pizza pie baked to order with a hot crust and cold toppings.
