Borderline nearly a five, as my recent revisit to Carmen's made me practically change my mind about how I rated the breakfast eatery. Though the pricing still is a prominent issue regarding how I would rank the restaurant, nevertheless top, notch service, excellent quality concerning my recent order, and a pleasant all-around experience. This time, I got myself a complicated request for the chef, the Guacamole Wrap, with some adjustments. And sure enough, the staff and chefs were more than willing to accommodate. Additionally, my colleagues noted that despite the timely delivery of our food, it was not exchanged for the quality of our meals, and my dish was well delicious. The side of fruit could use some improvement, as a mere two slices of melon, two grapes, and a slice of orange barely scrape by if you ask me. However, the wrap itself more than made up for the meal and was the star of the lunchtime that knocked it out of the park. I will say this revisit has redeemed Carmen's for me, and I will aware this a solid four stars, but I doubt I would be a regular when the bill for four guests does not amount to 88.00 yet I digress very great experience- 8.5/10 read more

I usually love Emily's and would give a 5 Star for their breakfast but their quality has gone downhill for the price of their food. The atmosphere is just a generic dining. It is breakfast spot opened until 2pm. We were sat right away and our waitress was friendly and got to our table right away, granted we went on a non busy morning. If you go on a Saturday or Sunday be prepared for a wait. I ordered the Greek skillet which was pretty tasty one of my favorite breakfast items. I got a side of mini waffles but they were burnt and any amount of syrup could not fix it. Their strawberry orange is is my must have when I go but this time around it was just okay. Maybe they were having an off day. I'll give them another chance though. read more

I've never had a positive experience at this restaurant. Which is now renamed "Carmens". I meant to order from the Emily's in beach park. Which has excellent customer service, food, & ambiance. This particular location lacks in all three. I have eaten in a few times and had long wait times, with no refills or check in offered. Today I order to go. A man acknowledged me first and said the woman would finish helping me with my transaction. She proceed to not say a word or look at me. Just motioned for my card. Swiped it and had me sign the receipt. She did not try to give me my food. Just turned her back to me and walked away. My food was also made wrong I asked for red potatoes with my skillet and still got Hash-browns. I will never make the mistake of ordering from Carmen's again and will also be telling those in the community about my poor experience.
