My wife had the salmon and it came out amazing. I went with the fried walleye and potato wedges -- the wedges were great, but the fish itself got a bit soggy underneath, more baked-texture than crispy-fried. I don't doubt it was fried, it just didn't have the crispness you want from fresh fried fish. Honestly, I think fried fish might be better left to the Wisconsin supper clubs. That said, one so-so dish isn't enough to sour the visit -- everything else we had was great, and I'm sure there are plenty of other dishes here they've mastered. We'll definitely be back, just won't order the walleye again.
