I made my first visit today to Ellie's and she is SUPERB. Just a note, she's actually closed on Sundays! *** Ellie is SO sweet and defines the model business owner. I've been trying to grow my eyebrows out and when I first had my eyebrows threaded two months ago at Kaya Threading in Rosemead, which was rated 5 stars on Yelp, I received terrible customer service and the girl that shaped my eyebrows made them way too thin! Ellie, on the other hand, introduced herself and asked me what I wanted in terms of shaping my eyebrows. I told her that I was still growing them out, and she told me she would shape my eyebrows to best frame my round face and eyes. She was very thorough in her explanation and the process was way less painful than my experience at Kaya. She constantly asked if I was okay, if it was too painful, and she made great conversation! I'll be coming back in about a month so that she can clean them up and really shape them once my eyebrows become more full. I will definitely be a returning patron! read more

I was in Uptown Whittier for another appointment and also needed to have my eyebrows done. Yelp to the rescue I found this place down the street from my other appt. Ellie greeted me at the door and introduced herself. She is wonderful! Asked me what I wanted and kept complimenting that my eyebrows are naturally beautiful (which was very kind considering it had been well over a month since I had them done).
