Sara was a great host and waitress. She recommended the waffles and omelet. Both were large portions as Sara said so bring ur appetite. Great service with a smile. We definitely will be back! Thanks Sara for being a great waitress

Have been here with my dad twice. Quick food and a great breakfast place that's easy and efficient. I will definitely come back! Allergy friendly and great staff. Feels like a classic diner.

I'm always looking for a quaint breakfast place with some value and I found it here. A small diner like atmosphere with good food at fair prices. The service was great. I always love a place that walks around refilling your coffee without having to wave down a waitress. This is definitely more of a simple place, but if you're looking for a good breakfast that doesn't break the bank, this is what you're looking for. I had two eggs with corn beef hash, home fries and toast for about $9.75 and a bottomless cup of coffee for $2.50. The only downside is the parking. The street parking is 30mins which really makes you rush unless you can find parking close by and walk.

Well I am not big on breakfasts but my BF likes going out for b'fast on Sundays. I like this place. Its small, great specials, and friendly waitresses that remember you and what you order from week to week.. The Cheeseburger omelet is fantastic with loads of cheesy meat w/ onions. They will make special orders here too. I am also fond of the spicy tomato omelet. Space is a bit cool in winter and too warm in summer but oh well. Nice community homey feel to this place. UPDATE: Demoted to 4 stars. This place is starting to slip! I don't know. Sloppy service, overcooked omelette's and eggs, dry and burned home fries. The carpeting if FILTHY! Black with dirt! It is always cold inside and its crying to be updated. Its still friendly and all, but we have found better in Salem at Mattie's Bagel and Eatery.

The waitress was sooooo nice and attentive The feel was very comfortable like a breakfast place should Decor was ok it's not 5 star that's not what I was looking for in this place Breakfast was mediocre nothing special Home fries were hyped up they weren't the fried goodness I was hoping for they were more like roasted potatoes and reheated on griddle ? The beans were tasty not like a microwave canned beans Toast were done right not burnt it had right amount of butter Scrambled eggs were a bit wet for my liking could've been a wet plate though Eggs over easy were jus runny enough Ham was a thick slice 2 bacon strips were apart of the order and they were delicious Along with the order came 2 sausage links that reminded me of frozen kind not a fan and they seemed to be barely cooked n had a light sear on the griddle n served

Nice unexpected start. My wife and I both ordered Eggs Benedicts, my wife with ham, mine with their own corned beef hash. This is where things took a downward swing. First, both dishes came out without Hollandaise sauce. We pointed this out to our server who apologized and immediately took both back. When they came back out the Holladaise looked broken. We decided to accept them as opposed to sending them back again, and the taste was off, with a slight sour hint. I mentioned this to the owner/chef who checked on us and he was surprised and told us he would check the sauce. We never saw or heard from him again. The corned beef hash was shredded corned beef mixed with hash brown potatoes, with the potatoes dominating. It lacked flavor. One of my eggs was over cooked, with a hard yolk. The accompanying homefries were nice, maybe the highlight of the meal. On the plus side, our server, who told us up front she was new, was very good. We may give it another try as maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen.

Just so many good choices! And then at the same time, they serve fried chicken and chicken sandwiches. And the prices are very reasonable. I got two sauces with my bowl and didn't end up using either because everything had so much good flavor (yep, brought those home). My sister and I showed up at lunch and got easy parking just on the other side of the street. We ordered at the counter and as it was our first time had a number of questions. The staff was super helpful and my food came out much quicker than I expected. They have lots of coffee and other specialty drinks but there's also water available in the counter area where you also get your silverware and napkins, a perfect arrangement for us heavy water drinkers The decor is funky and fun and definitely heavy on a chicken theme. I try out a lot of good places but this is at the top of my list of restaurants I need to return to soon. Unfortunately, this wasn't the right place for me…read more I'm very particular about cleanliness, especially when it comes to restaurants. The plastic cups our drinks were served in looked heavily scratched, cloudy, and worn to the point that they appeared dirty. Whether they were clean or not, the appearance alone completely turned me off. I ended up paying for our drinks but decided not to order any food because I no longer felt comfortable eating there. I know everyone has different standards, but first impressions matter, and this experience made it difficult for me to want to come back.

The pancakes were lovely and thick and the option to add walnuts added a great texture. There were also at least ten specials posted (not on menu) and the chorizo eggs benny is going to be my pick next time (hoping it is still there!). I also had a green tea with my meal which was nice. The menu is classic but with a few twists. Definitely count on some nice looking specials not on the menu, too. There is parking right out front but we grabbed a space on the other side of the street. If you do that not that there seem to be both one and two hour spaces so be sure to pick the right one. Service is fast and super friendly and helpful. You can pay with cash or Venmo or Cash App and they have ATM atm inside if you need it. Seating is mostly booths and comfortable and well maintained. You do need to get the code for the bathroom but it is easy and also very well maintained. The whole place has a warm neighborhood feel and you can tell there are a lot of regulars who keep coming back.

But on this day, I thought to myself, "Self, I really hate making that busy-as-hell left turn on South Broadway in Salem. What if we took a journey to the Andover location instead?" And so it was. I enter this cozy little restaurant carefully tucked against a slightly submerged parking garage. Although, I probably shouldn't say "little" because the interior was noticeably larger than its Salem counterpart. It's also noisy AF in there when it gets busier than a New York subway. So naturally, I ordered my usual to-go (a Country Classic with an extra egg and hashbrowns for those who don't know). Only it wasn't *quite* ready on time. Which, to be fair, is kind of a minor point. Thing is, they have to shout your name whenever your order is finally ready. This in and of itself can prove to be quite the challenge when bellowing atop the already roaring crowd of customers impeding the otherwise accessible pickup shelves. I'll do my best to describe the interior since I wasn't really able to take pictures. But try to imagine an L-shaped dining area with the longest part hosting a row of countertop seats facing the windows. Beyond that sits a rather modest dining area with a few more tables. Next to that sits the gender neutral restrooms. It's strange and cramp, particularly when the place is packed tighter than a sardine can. Sufficed to say, I'm not much a fan of the interior design here. Being the partial recluse that I am, I offer the following best practice for a place so riotous: mobile order that shiz, cuh! Seriously. I had to put in my noise cancelling earbuds to appease my misophonia. The good news is....the food is still awesome. The eggs? Creamier than crème fraîche. Taters? Eh, I don't why...but these seemed way more seasoned the very first time I tried them. Fortunately, they actually pair rather well with their refined version of ketchup. The bacon? Well...let's just say I wish it were served well done. Not sure if I'm able to request that. But I'll scope out my options next time and get back to you all. That's it though. Nice place, WAY easier to get to than its Salem counterpart, but a bit too cramp and noisy for my taste which means....I'll likely ever dine in here. It's all good though, because I'm still giving Crack'd Kitchen & Coffee in Andover 4 Country Classics with all the fixins out of 5.
