Tim is the best of the best. I am so lucky my sister stumbled upon him years ago. Not only has he been working on numerous cars my family has owned through the years, but he has taken tremendous care of mine too (and me)!!!! Another wonderful experience from the team at Ellis Performance! I have been taking all of my cars here for years, there is no job too small nor too large. The price is always far below their competitors. Tim is VERY honest and full of knowledge. He is not out to make a quick buck, he would much rather you leave completely satisfied. I have taken my car there in the past and was very pleased with the work and pricing of the repairs that were needing to be done. Tim, has been very understanding about pricing and considerate. However, my most recent visit to them to get my car fixed I was not treated this way, especially by his other employees. I asked them in addition to fixing why the check engine light was on to also please look over the car to make sure that it would pass inspection and when I picked it up they said it was fine. I had to return to the shop after the weekend for a quick check on a part and asked if they could please check the lights to make sure there were no problems with them so that I would pass inspection. I was told they checked them before I left the first time and everything was fine. I went down the road to get the inspection from a company Tim had recommended and it failed because one of the lights did not work. I immediately drove back to Ellis to have them repair it. They told me I was now responsible for any repairs and labor that they would have to do on the car and Tim argued with me about saying he would looking over everything for it to pass inspection. After talking with Tim he was able to fix the problem and I went back to get it inspected and it passed. The very next day my check engine light came back on and I immediately when back to Ellis to have the code read and it was a problem that they said they had already fixed and I had already paid for. After asking an employee if the car was still driveable he yelled at me and told me when I have money that I would be responsible for anymore repairs on the car, including the parts. I do not think I should be considered responsible when they told me when I picked up the car, that they had fixed the problem that was giving them that specific code. I immediately left and probably from this recent experience never use them again. I do not appreciate the employee's rudeness and inconsideration. If I am going to be treated that way I might as well go to a dealership and be insulted and treated like I am stupid. They have lost a long time costumer because of the behavior of one of their employees. read more

Don't give this shop your money‼ This place is unprofessional the owner complains about his personal problems all the time. Originally in May 2020 we paid $2400 for our vehicle to get fixed. He kept our car for a month. Our car broke down on the side of the road in July 2020 we got it towed to his shop. Then he quoted us $1300 kept the car for two weeks. After waiting for two weeks I called for an update he made excuses blamed it on his personal problems, why our car wasn't getting worked on. So I decided to show up at the shop to see what was going on? Our car was not getting worked on at all. He could not explain to me what exactly was the problem after having our car for two weeks. We decided to take our business else where. We had to get our car towed out of the shop because it was not drivable. He demanded to get paid $650 or he was going to keep our car. He price gauged us $650 for a fuel pump & labor when that part is only $300.00. Again our car wasn't DRIVABLE AT ALL!!!! He yelled at me he said next time I should buy a better car! He was agitated when I asked simple questions on why certain things got replaced yet the car wasn't drivable. He could've been honest and said he couldnt fix or find the problem. I would've been happy with honesty. Instead I got ripped off. His assistant kept laughing the whole time I was talking to the owner. He refuses to answer questions on what he fixed doesn't give out an itemized bill on what each part cost. THE NEXT MECHANIC I TOOK MY CAR TO Actually got my car to run smoothly & didn't charge me as much as Ellis!! During these difficult times people like this shouldn't be in business! It's sad & heart breaking because I have a family of 6 we could've saved this money to take care of something else. read more

I have ordered some product from this company. Besides taking forever to get it, the package was delivered with damage. When I complained about the amount of time to get the product(more than 30 days) I was sent a drunken email about how I was a bad customer. I do like the product but will spend a lot of time telling the 17 people I have rec. this product to and send them the incredibly RUDE email and completely unprofessional business attitude of the owner. I know it was the owner as I have the emails proving he wrote them. As to the drunken state,(perhaps not just alcohol) I can provide the emails to anyone interested.
