On the Big Island every thing takes weeks to get and this company is no exception. And this shop in Hilo never answers their phone, it just goes to a voicemail system that makes you enter a code. What code??? Now the shop in Honolulu is way more responsive. But as luck would have it, this shop is like the only one on this side of the island to get your axels and hubs and such. You just have to jump in your car to go order it cause remember, they don't answer phones.

One of the things I am thankful for each morning is my family's mechanic, Patrick, and his crew there. I also love that they have the Scriptures right on their desk. People can pick them up, read them, glance at a verse, whatever. It's a Living Book spreading love and miracles up in their business! The Rocky Mountain Rebuilders crew is very knowledgeable and capable, and the prices for their great work are easy on the wallet. Patrick is always busy, yet he always makes time for me. And that makes me feel special and important, as his customer.

I have just made arrangements to have my local mechanic do the transmission swap for a flat fee of $1,200. My total out of pocket cost is $3,900. Less than half of the quote to rebuild.
