While I've seen the sign from I-5, it was a bit challenging figuring out how to get here, but that's what GPS is for! We were there on a Saturday afternoon, I was helping friends select new fixtures for their remodeled living room and office. We had been to other lighting stores and had done a lot of online searches with no luck. Within minutes I pat Globe, we found the perfect wall lights to adorn the huge fireplace, ones that complimented the new dining room chandelier perfectly. As if they were from the same manufacturer. While they didn't have them in stock, the downtown location did so they will have them sent to Lake O store for pick up Monday. Very convenient. We also found the perfect touché light for the office that was both functional and attractive. Plus the price was far better than any we had seen. Our sales lady was super helpful without being pushy. It seems like this location caters more to contractors but that in no way means that Residential customers are slighted. Plenty of parking out front. Masks required, sanitizer provided, social distancing enforced.

I had to chase her down to place an order, she seemed very un-motivated to sell lights. I paid for the lights, in full, and left. I didn't hear back from them for a month, so I decided to walk in there and see what was going on. I spoke to the front desk person. I explained that I hadn't heard back from them regarding my lights. She looked puzzled, then started rooting around on her cluttered desk, and said "oh, there is is!", and picked up a package, which had been sitting there for god knows how long. I explained that I paid for 3 lights. She looked disinterested, and told me she would call the supplier the next day and give me a call. Another month past, no phone call, so again I decided to go to the store. The same front desk person was there, and she looked up my order, one of the lights she said had been discontinued, and the other she wasn't sure why it hadn't been shipped. She promised to call them the next day. Another month past, and I returned. She hadn't done anything with my order, so I requested, and was given, a refund. 3 months wasted. Zero effort made to fulfill and order that I had paid for. AVOID!!

The day I was there, the majority of colors were cream, white, gray and shades of blue which matches my own decor so I felt right at home. If I hadn't already completely decorated my new condo, I would have purchased several pieces from this store. The textured credenza would so be in my foyer right now! If you are seeking a standout piece of furniture, a statement mirror, gorgeous coffee table books or just inspiration, Wishbone Home & Design is your store. Located right in downtown Lake Oswego, if you are shopping or running errands around First Street, stop in! It's really a treat. I can't vouch for their design services as I've never hired them, but based on the quality items and the way the store is cohesively pulled together, I'd hire them with confidence. Whenever I'm in a lake Oswego, I will definitely make a point to stop back. While I may not need the larger furniture items and art, there were so many books, textured pillows, vases, trays and other decor items that I can use to update a room or buy for gifts. So glad I found this shop!

They have items such as: antique and vintage lighting, hardware, furniture, miscellaneous architectural fixtures, and so much more. And lots of these items come from local homes and buildings, so you are helping "recycle the past" as they like to say. While moseying around the shop, I inquired about a couple of light fixtures that were out of reach and they were very friendly and helpful when following up with questions. It was not difficult to find someone to assist me at all. The prices are at a premium here because you are finding unique items that are in excellent condition and often times hard to find. I found a 8pc set of drawer pulls that I was hunting for an antique dresser for years. Patience and luck came together for me at Old Portland Hardware. Looking forward to my next visit!

There was a slight delay in the install, because they have been very busy. Due to that delay our contact at OOL left the company. This resulted in some confusion on our particular installation. Kyle, the owner, stepped in and saw to it that our job got some extra attention. We were very impressed that he cared enough about his business to make sure we were happy with our product. When a company is growing it's easy for things to 'fall through the cracks'. I can see that Kyle is dedicated to quality and customer service. We are thrilled with our product and highly recommend Oregon Outdoor Lighting!

Beginning with my initial outreach, Ryan was always timely and responsive which is a great reflection on how the company does their business. Honestly in this day and age, it feels nearly impossible to hire people to do work which is why we ended up reaching out to Oregon Outdoor Lighting even though we live in California. The initial plan was to hire Ryan to design the lighting layout and he would help find a local team to do the install. (Ryan flew down and back in one day, spending the whole day at our house doing onsite design.) Let me take a pause to say that having a outdoor lighting specialist design for you is an entirely different product than having a landscaper install low voltage lighting. I knew I was willing to pay for the design aspect. And the design is phenomenal. As it turned out, despite his connections, Ryan couldn't find a local person who would return his calls either to do the install. But instead of leaving me hanging, we arranged for an install crew team to drive down from Oregon to Californian. During the install week, the team of two arrived on time and worked hard from early in the morning until late in the afternoon daily. They cleaned up at the end of every day so you couldn't even tell they had been there. They stayed an extra half day when I requested some add on's mid-week. We had two nighttime walk throughs on the last two nights so adjustments could be made. When they accidentally hit a sprinkler, they fixed it. They made sure everything was functioning before they left. Two weeks after they left we had some heavy rains and the lights flickered a bit and one day they didn't come on. When I reached out to the installers and Ryan, they all had suggestions that fixed the problem temporarily but when it happened again, they suggested I call an electrician because they had thought one of the outlets was faulty during the install. Indeed that turned out to be the problem, I just wished they had informed me when they suspected that during the install. Since then, we've encountered quite the historic series of atmospheric rivers (which also led to power outages) and despite all this, when the power returns, the lights come on every evening and turn off every morning. I'm so pleased every time I drive home or peer into my yard. Would 100% do it again. P.S. I have this incredible admiration for outdoor lighting design now. Driving by other homes, I realize what a difference it makes.
