Rodrigo and team did a great job getting it done, even though there were some delays (not ELM's fault) with City of Mountain View issuing the construction permit. We redid our roof and replaced our skylights with ELM. Our roof wasn't leaking but it was getting old so we decided to replace it. We got several quotes - while ELM wasn't the cheapest, we decided to go with them because of the great reviews and the warranty. We worked with Carlos and he was very kind and responsive. Their crew worked really hard and late into the night because they were racing against the rain. It was great to work with him and the roof and skylights look amazing. While I was disappointed that during the heavy storm, our new chimney cap flew off and we had a leak in the chimney after the roof was completed (when we didn't have any leaks before), Carlos was quick to remediate the issues. I found out that our contractor never installed the insulation and it was just stacked up in the attic. Carlos was amazing and during the initial inspection got up on the roof in the rain (on a holiday!) to try to stop the leak -- it felt like he was as concerned about my house as he would be his own. We would've had way more damage if he hadn't done that. He then got a crew out asap to do a real temp fix -- and it held! They then replaced the whole roof and I couldn't be happier. I had a truly eye-opening experience yesterday. After having a different company tell me I needed a total roof replacement immediately, I had ELM Roofing come out for a second opinion. The specialist (Gerardo) who arrived was experience, polite, and incredibly professional. Instead of trying to sell me a roof I didn't need, he gave me an honest assessment: my roof is in great shape and likely has another 5-10 years of life left. He even pointed out that all I need is a handyman to perform some minor maintenance using a product called Henry's. It is rare to find such high ethical standards and integrity in the roofing business.
