I got several quotes for a new shingle roof. We chose NC roofing and they were very pleasant and completed the job quickly and did a great job. One of the other quotes found that we needed removal of the old shingles and a wood shake layer underneath. NC roofing took care of that and they also had to replace 110' of rotted tongue and groove wood at the eves. The whole job took 3 days including getting new gutters. The new roof and gutters look excellent! The city of mountain view signed off the permit the next day. We started getting bids in January with 5 roofing companies. Ido was our sales person who presented the BID. Their Price was in the middle compared to others but Ido's commitment to be there at the project was one of the reasons we went with NC Roofing Solutions. The Golden Pledge Warranty was the other reason. There were several parts of the project that were very important to us like the stone fireplace on our roof. The owner Charlie came out to make sure we were happy with it. Ido did all PLUS more to be here when we had questions. We went with GAF Grand Sequoia RS and were are extremely happy with the workmanship and quality of the roof. Even the County inspector mentioned after he did his finale inspection he thought the quality and roof was excellent. From start to finish, they covered our pool, deck,and all around the house. Trying to fix up a house that my ex left as a giant mess; noticed that the roof was leaking right by the door frame. After a dozen or so quotes (Yelp projects are very happy to send out many messages) I went with NC Roofing because they had one of the best prices for full roof replacement. Most of the roofers I contacted were a little hesitant to do a half or partial fix given the terrible job my ex tried (no, the ex is not a roofer by any means or skill or education). And yes, apparently he nailed straight thru the wrong part of the roofing tile which explains the giant hole in the ceiling that was bursting full of water. NC Roofers were amazing, managed to get me scheduled and get the roof fixed before the next rains came in. It's held up all this winter's rainy season, no leaking, and the updated vents actually keep moisture out. I asked for a color change as well, and the black roof still keeps the house 5-10 degrees cooler than the outside so they know their r-values. Ori Echo at NC Roofing was phenomenal. My roof started leaking in the entryway after hours. I connected to them through Thumbtack. They contacted me straight away early the next morning and got Ori out to assess the problem. Based on the leak in the house, he indicated where the water was likely coming in at. Using the drone camera, he zeroed in on the area they would work on. I really appreciated how thoroughly he explained everything that they would be doing to fix the problem. With the rain returning in just three days, I was a nervous wreck. Working with the office he managed to get a crew out here early the next morning. They did a tile lift up and repair on the area and found exactly where the water was coming in at. The crew was professional, thorough and respectful of my landscaping.
