He inspected all the roofs, found a potential leak in one of them which caused a water stain in one of the rooms, provided estimates and scheduled the work. At the time, the estimates seemed about what I expected. But, after witnessing all the work Chad performed, from early morning until after dark, they were more than reasonable. Chad is a true professional. He's communicative and detailed in his inspections, estimates, and work. I can't say enough about this experience. Unprofessional, pushy and obnoxious, and I regret contacting him. Chad came and gave a bid to repair some flashings on my roof, clean out gutters and downspouts, reattach a gutter, and clean moss growth that had started on the roof. I told him I could agree to it if he would give me a written scope of work and could do the work on the next Monday, then I went into work. When I came out, I was shocked to learn that he had gone on my roof and done the work before I could warn tenants, without giving me a scope of work or getting my permission. As I feared, the job was poorly done and there is still moss on my roof, he tried to upcharge me for completing the downspout clearing and for reattaching the gutter which he never did, and then he insisted on immediate payment. He did not respect boundaries about contacting me and he laughingly threatened to charge me $500 an hour in small claims court if I didn't pay him right away for a job I did not authorize. I did pay him of course, but beware he will do a poor job when not even authorized, and then threatened and harass you Non-Stop until he gets paid, as if his dinner tonight depends on it. Very sketchy and not trustworthy. I should have been wary of anybody who cannot spell your or toward, wears a braided tail, and who clearly does not care about following rules for contractors giving written scopes of work. Chad responded within 15-20 minutes, I explained my issue, he came over and got both down spouts up and secured, total time from request to finish was about 2 1/2 hours tops. He did a great job on my 2nd floor spout which needed more attention. All for a great price! Oh, I didn't even ask but he also repaired a wood fence piece that was coming off our gate (i had warned him to be careful) he did it for free. Chad, the owner, responded quickly to my inquiry with a fair quote and was available the same day. Within an hour of agreeing on the work he arrived and started immediately. He communicated thoroughly through the whole process - documenting before-and-after photos and providing updates as he worked. He let me know overall the condition of my roof was still ok but did point out areas of concern which I appreciated. Since we had not maintained our gutters for several years, upon closer inspection, he identified the scope of the job was larger than anticipated. While the final amount increased from the original quote I found it fair given the extra work that was required.
