Left to bottom, stingray, deer and beef liver jerky!

Very unique little jerky shop on the wank! Tucked away in the Hong Kong market shopping center, with a very cool variety of jerky! Every time i come here i find some new, i usually come for the liver jerky, which i love and i dont even like liver haha! On my recent trip i picked up some stingray and deer which i have never seen before and they tasted amazing! They also sell tons of dried fruits, nuts, candy and even a variety of dried fish. Im always greeted nicely and asked for help which it being explanation for a certain type and they even let you sample anything before you buy it. Its a little on the pricey side most jerky being 24.99 lb but you can ask for small portions. If youre a big fan of beef jerky and on the west bank, definently drop in at this place, you won't be disappointed.

Finally I found a best place for my childhood favorite' snacks (rice paper salad and beef jerky) - banh trang tron and kho bo. Their tastes are really good as well. The "banh trang tron" costs $7 but there is so many stuffs inside with beef jerky, fresh quail eggs, dried shrimps, peanut, etc and a lot of rice paper. I think it's still cheaper than others place. Because 1 box is too much for 1 person. They also have a good homemade drink which calls "nuoc mat". Just $4 with a big cup of fresh drinking is perfect enough for this hot weather. Also the store is very clean and comfortable. The employees are friendly and polite. I will come back this place whenever I travel to New Orlearns.

We got to try free samples of the pickled makok, baby sour mango, and pickled mango. All taste similar to each other, but we prefer the makok for texture. We also got the sweet and sour gooseberries. That thing is like crack; its amazingly good. Way better than the ones they sell at HK. Last, we got the green mixed jelly drink with basil seeds. How refreshing on a hot damn day in New Orleans!

Look at this! Made me pay full price for this and it even fill! RUDE!!

Expensive as hell! Rude people as well! Hot as hell in there too! My drink wasn't even full to the top and expect me to still pay for the full price.

New place next to Hong Kong Market on the Westbank. Selling jerky, dried and pickled fruits and candies. Trying out some delicious Vietnamese jerky. Love the smoked abalone and the Lemon Grass sate beef. Gonna come back and try some other varieties.

Milk teas with egg pudding & crystal boba and nuoc mat drinks are so refreshing. Always consistent with their teas. Had 1/4 sweet & salty dried plums to go with that order. The people are always helpful as well.

Jelly Blast and a Vietnamese coffee! Yummy

Sell a variety of candy and Vietnamese beef jerky. Have a variety of drinks my husband loved the Vietnamese coffee. I really liked the jelly blast! It's home made and refreshing. Very clean and the service is awesome! Right next to the Hong Kong supermarket! A must try. A treat for everyone in the family.

They also carry some gummy and chocolate varieties, some spices, some boxed coffee, some Middle Eastern pastries. Only some things were labeled with either what it was or the price of it, so that was a little disorienting. I was surprised to find a cafe and gelato bar inside. The gelato flavors were incredible. I settled on popcorn caramel and baklava in a waffle bowl. An employee said that everything was made in-house. The price was standard considering that all was made there. The service was weird. I kept getting served after people who'd gotten there after me. My ice cream scoops were significantly smaller than my boyfriend's. Returning isn't high on my list of priorities, but I'm glad I tried them.

This unassuming spot in a strip mall was gorgeous inside. And it serves coffee, pastries, ice cream plus y'know candy. AND they roast their own nuts, spices and I guess coffee beans. There were definitely folks hanging out and enjoying a Turkish style coffee... I guess either the caffeine doesn't hit them the way it does me or they had no plans to sleep. The candy isn't labeled 100% correctly but you kind of know that gummy worms are not gummy strawberries. I tried an assortment bag of gummies and some of chocolates and the price was by the pound. Re got some freshly roasted unsalted cashews and they were delicious! Parking is easy in the strip mall lot. And as you step in you definitely leave Louisiana and step into another country.

I thought I didn't like pralines, until I tried the ones from southern candy makers. The pralines are buttery. They melt in your mouth. The pecans are huge. The original creamy is a classic masterpiece, but the chocolate one is just as divine! What I love about the chocolate one is that the chocolate flavor isn't overpowering- there's a nice balance between the flavors from the chocolate, sugar, cream, and butter. They have other speciality flavors to choose from too! The tortue was my favorite. The caramel was smooth & I loved the chopped pecans at the bottom!! I tried both the white chocolate and milk chocolate, both of which were amazing, but I had a slight preference for the milk chocolate one! It's hard to just take a few bites without eating the whole thing lol it's addicting. Really appreciated the cool AC as soon as we walked in, since we were sweating from walking around the French quarters. The employees were always quick to serve us, and they offered samples every time. When I'm back in the area, I'll definitely pay my visit(s) again!!
