You can see what you get $34 whole belly $6 more

I went for the first time at Elmo we ordered the whole belly clams they were good but the portions were VERY SMALL for the cost they could of given more the drinks we ordered were very good than we ordered the seafood platter my wife had the baked and I had the fried again for $34 each the portions were very small personally I will not be going back. There's other places that give you a lot more just as good.

A 1960s seafood themed restaurant, with prices and flavors to match Been to this place once before, and I recalled it not being very good for the price. But I decided to give them another shot, to see if they possibly improved or changed things up. Will state that they haven't changed a thing. If you recall places like bugaboo creek or U.S.S Chowderpot, you will be familar with what to expect in terms of decor. The place is dated, with lots of nautical themed decor smattered around the place. Everything is clean, but old in it's style. The server was very friendly, and we ordered a seafood cioppino, a twiced baked potato, and new england clam chowder with some seafood stuffed mushrooms. The stuffed mushrooms were mostly mush, not much in the way of flavor. The New England Clam Chowder tasted a little off, so we had to return that. Turns out, they use tarragon in their clam chowder which lead to an off-taste I was unfamiliar with. The twiced baked potato was okay, but they didn't add much in the way of seasoning to the mashed potato on the inside. lead to a pretty bland bite. The Cioppino had lots of shellfish, but we were not provided a basked for the shells, so we had to use the bread basket to store the shells. The pasta was cooked well, the white wine sauce had some flavor but not enough to be notable. The shellfish was in varying states of doneness, all cooked but the shrimp were a little overcooked. The food was all cooked, but not seasoned well and very expensive for what you get. For me, I am not a fan. There's a fish market not that far away, and I think the food they put out is superior. Unless you want some dated decor, this place is a pass

Food was ok. Not anything to write home about. Asked if we had a reservation. Very pricey for what you get. 36 $$$ for a little fish two scallops two clams two shrimp and potato. Service was ok.

Crab cakes ( front) salmon ( back) and fish and chips on the side right

Quality is still good, price and portion are askew…read more We came here as a quick sandwich bite on our way around the state. Service was good, and the ambiance is still lively. The still tastes good, with some exceptions. The frier oil seemed burnt, so the pickle chips we had just had that little bit of carbon taste on them. The pickle chips batter was very thick, and the mayo was the only respite. The sandwich, still tasty, seemed much smaller than normal, the meat still had good flavor, but the portion was lighter in comparison. The prices are also a bit high. The sandwich coming out to about 15 bucks. The bargain is very much gone now, and the portion is okay for a sandwich but pricy because of this shrinkage. Not shown are the overcooked onion rings. We returned those and the server promptly removed them from the bill. So really good customer service. I opted for a brownie for dessert, and the brownie was a disappointment. Too sugary, no flavor, gummy, and disappointingly small and thin. A detractor for sure. As a deli, it feels like it's on the decline. I know things are pricier now, but what you pay vs what you get doesn't match up. I'm hoping they pivot from this path, but right now it's no longer my go-to. It's still tasty, just pricy

I arrived in 30 minutes and the pizza was ready. Got home in 5 minutes and pizza was already cold. It was pretty bland. It's a thicker crust pizza. The Buffalo chicken had the hot sauce flavor but was dry overall. The meat side wasn't dry but didn't have much flavor to it. It was quite greasy. While I was picking up my order someone called and was told it'll be about an hour. Not sure if they tell people a longer amount of time on purpose or what but my pizza was definitely sitting. There was good reviews of their grinders, so I got half a steak grinder, some mozz sticks, and a side of meatballs. Also got a slice of carrot cake because why not? Nothing I got was bad, but nothing I got was great either. The steak was not seasoned, the roasted veggies and mushrooms were not seasoned, the meatballs were not seasoned, the sauce was lightly seasoned but they use the same marinara across all their dishes. Mozz sticks are frozen but not bad, carrot cake was premade, but was good. had that wax paper welded to the top but didn't detract. Everything was cooked fine, but any flavors that were present in the dish were very muted and mostly bland. It's very much your run of the mill pizza joint, which is fine if that's what you want. There's a lot of places that offer pizza though, and there's nothing coming out of the kitchen that makes them unique. They are an option if you want pizza or a grinder

Great entrees, bad appetizers…read more Little marks is our stop for a quick casual bite around Vernon. Enjoy the smoked meats, sides are okay, but the quality is usually really good. My review this time is highlighting my biggest gripe. We got a half-rack of ribs, Santa Fe egg rolls, and a meatloaf sandwich. For 16 bucks, we get two egg rolls put on a giant plate with arugula put on the bottom to try and disguise the shame. This isn't the first time we've had issues with the portion size of an appetizer at this location either. I know appetizers are not entrees, I know that some things take more time to craft and prepare. If the portion is going to be small and expensive, use smaller plates, make sure the flavor is strong, and make them thick. Even if they gave us 3 and put them in a fry basket would've been a better showing than an awkward attempt of an egg roll salad In contrast, for 18 bucks I get this beautifully smoked meatloaf sandwich with a slew of caramelized onions and a perfectly placed breaded mozzarella to give that epic cheese pull. Along with sweet potato fries and Cole slaw and a pickle. We complained about the egg rolls and got them removed from the bill, so my review score doesn't reflect them. The entrees are stellar, the sides are afterthoughts, and the price is appropriate for the quality. They need better attention to detail on their sides to make them that truly epic bbq spot, and if they do that they can be one of the greats. But I'm using this review to hopefully pass on some knowledge to those planning to swing by. Stick to the entrees and you'll have a great experience. Stray from the mains, and your experience can vary.
