Roast beef Ruben with lame slaw.

Used to be a huge fan of Catsup & Mustard. The place over on Main st in Manchester. Corey Wry had several restaurants in the area and they tended to be pretty good. I guess he sold this place and somehow things have gone a-wry. The French fries were good. Did I write home about them? Nay. Roast beef Ruben was overcooked, the sauerkraut didnt taste like sauerkraut, what was it?? Just weird. Staff was pleasant but appeared overwhelmed. Old timey vibe, felt like I was in a restaurant back in 1979. Dunno whats with the place, there is a decent lunchtime crowd so people like it. Just not me I guess.

They stopped caring, and it shows My go to breakfast spot in the area was on vacation today. So I went to my next choice for breakfast in the area. Was the first person in. Took a seat at the bar and looked through the menu. Asked for some modified items, and was given a hard no on each one. Don't mind that, not all places can tweak the menu. So I opted for the chorizo hash with poached eggs and sourdough toast. Got a coffee, was Omar's and a bit weak. Needed a good amount of cream and Splenda to give it any flavor. As the morning continued, others were seated and got to order. There was a single server manning the entire front of house. So it was a lot for them to manage. She tried her best, even made a coffee refill run, but it's clear they don't have adequate staffing. Then the food started coming out, and many others got served before me. Essentially I was the first to order and the 5th to get my order. Assumed the kitchen got slammed, had a single cook at the helm and my order just takes longer to prep. 30 minutes after ordering, the food came out. It was... very bad. The eggs were hard boiled. I had to hunt to find the tiny pocket of yolk in each one. Rubbery white balls of egg. On top of an incinerated hash, with a single piece of cheese put on top to hide the incineration. Potato shoestrings, prepped from frozen and cooked to the consistency of potato sticks I assumed my order was a mistake, but I looked at the food that got delivered before mine and saw the pattern. Unsoaked French toast with little cinnamon, overcooked eggs and heavily cooked hash. It was clear that standards are long forgotten and the kitchen has all but given up. 15 minutes later (45 minutes in total), the server finally gets around to me. It's only after I hand her my money that she asked how my food was, and by that time the damage was already done. Nothing that was coming out of the kitchen was going to be good, and there was not enough front of house to manage the amount of customers. I cannot say this location is worth it for breakfast. It used to be good, but as a breakfast spot it's very lackluster. If you do come here: expect a wait, order basic, and don't expect good.

Stopped in recently for the first time for breakfast, with four friends. Had heard some really good things... Ample parking in a strip mall. The layout is like a wide corridor, w counter / stools on one side and tables opposite side. Greeted and seated by Dana, who was very capable, checking on us regularly. I had my usual eggs over CBH w rye toast. The food was good, but two things stood out. First, only one piece of toast. Second, consensus of the group was that the food was not as hot as it should have been. The CBH and potatoes (for those that had them) were warm, not hot. For us, P on W was ok, but did not have a WOW factor. I may try again, but for lunch, not breakfast. 3.5 warm stars

Interesting morning at this stop. Had to wait to be seated at 8 am. After a good 5 minute wait. The waitress came out and told us to sit anywhere. So why was there a wait to be seated sign? I have to say it's cute inside. I do find all the different tv's going on different stations a bit overwhelming . It took a while to order , I am not blaming the waitress! She was the only waitress on a Saturday morning. I think management issued the mark on that. The food was good. But it's hard to mess us breakfast food. Coffee which is big for me , was good and hot. Though again because waitress was on her own, not plentiful. Would I try again? Truthfully unsure. I find the lack of staff off putting

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. From the outside you wouldn't expect to see how nice the interior is. Ok let's talk food . My meal was delicious , the burger cooked perfectly and the pretzel bun was delicious . The fries were warm not hot but good nonetheless . I'll definitely be going back for lunch in the future

I am not sure why it took 25 minutes to make my one breakfast when I was the only person in the restaurant and the only car in the parking lot, but I am sure it was well worth the wait! Everything was hot and delicious an prepared well. The coffee was all right. The rye toast blew my mind! I need to find out who they get this from, because it is incredible.

It's a painting, an arts and craft, a bakery, and a coffee shop. Great place for friends to get together and spend quality time, with great refreshment. This last attempt, there was a bunch of staff around so I got the full experience. The staff were very friendly and informative. They explained the pottery painting side of things to anyone painting a piece. They had a wealth of knowledge in that regard, explaining how to get the best results for each medium. I wasn't here for the pottery, I was here for the food. So they sat at a 4 top and let me go up to the cafe to order. The menu is basic, egg sandwiches, avocado toast, French toast, coffees and lattes. Some fresh baked pastries available but mostly simple dishes. I opted for their French toast latte and an egg sandwiches with bacon. Also got a cinnamon roll that was baked that morning. Food came out after a few minutes. Not speedy but not slow. Took some pics and dug in. There's a fundamental rule that I follow when reviewing. "The flavors on the description need to match the flavors of the dish." There's sandwich did this exemplary. The garlic aoli had a strong but slightly acidic bite to it, which helped the arugula's bitterness. The egg was fluffy, the tomato grilled and salted, and the bacon perfectly crispy. The soft home made bread was almost too soft, compressing down to nothing after each bite. If anything, the bread could've been grilled to give it a bit more structure. But besides that gripe, it's one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. The latte, that's what took the star off. The coffee is giv beans, so a good quality product. The problem was it was extremely, overbearingly bitter. With a French toast latte, you'd expect the sweet to counteract the bitter. But nope, the sweet came from the cold foam and the concentrated coffee at the base led to straight sips of cringingly bitter coffee. After mixing the cold foam into the coffee, it became more bearable. But the damage was done by that point, and my pallet was shot. Had to dump most of the coffee. Overall, it's a neat place to go to. It's rare to have activities along with good food, and the staff there make the experience great. Not too much a fan of the specialty coffee, but the food is well worth the price. A solid food choice for Main Street.

The still tastes good, with some exceptions. The frier oil seemed burnt, so the pickle chips we had just had that little bit of carbon taste on them. The pickle chips batter was very thick, and the mayo was the only respite. The sandwich, still tasty, seemed much smaller than normal, the meat still had good flavor, but the portion was lighter in comparison. The prices are also a bit high. The sandwich coming out to about 15 bucks. The bargain is very much gone now, and the portion is okay for a sandwich but pricy because of this shrinkage. Not shown are the overcooked onion rings. We returned those and the server promptly removed them from the bill. So really good customer service. I opted for a brownie for dessert, and the brownie was a disappointment. Too sugary, no flavor, gummy, and disappointingly small and thin. A detractor for sure. As a deli, it feels like it's on the decline. I know things are pricier now, but what you pay vs what you get doesn't match up. I'm hoping they pivot from this path, but right now it's no longer my go-to. It's still tasty, just pricy

While I'll usually go for that particular sandwich, my most recent visit was for the 'Old School' Philly Cheesesteak (with the cheese whiz) Having eaten here dozens of times I've never gotten a bad meal here. The chicken teriyaki is particularly good but they do everything they offer well. Ingredients are fresh and prepared to order right in front of you so you know what you're getting. Not saying I've never had someone make a mistake and it's usually when they're very busy they get it right more often than not. I'm not a 'fries' person but the options they offer are very good as well. The old school cheesesteak was not really like a lot of others I've had (including ones in Philly) but it is very good. It's a nice changeup from the regular versions they have which are all very good as well. The menu is limited but there's enough variety on it that I could eat here more than once a week. I noticed they make fresh juice from strawberries, mango and other fruits. I told her I'd like the strawberry juice. Again she pointed to it and said "no". Why did I come here, everything is "no"? I told her I'll have the mango juice. She finally said "ok". She asked me if I want my juice with aqua or with leche. I told her aqua. Wouldn't it be a smoothie if it was with milk? I also wondered what kind of response I'd get if I asked for the flan. "No" is the answer to that! Shortly after, I heard the blender running. My juice was delivered to me. It came in a large beer mug, and was filled to the brim. This was so tasty and truly mango! I finished my juice and waited forever for the bill. It wasn't that busy there were two other patrons.
