Charlie was so calm handling our business. He was like talking to a good friend. Next, we met Michelle, their head nurse. She was like talking to a sister. Michelle did the initial assessment for my mother's level of care and she was spot on. Michelle was so genuinely caring. We met the director, Megan, she was like an Auntie. The caregivers like Rosie and Taye, absolute angels to my mother. Rosie in particular cared for my mother so well. She was the only person that my mother let bath her! The Med Tech Rita, VERY experienced and super friendly and caring and so many others treated us like just part of their big family, I really mean that! I knew, this was the place for my 94 year old mother to enjoy the final years of her life. Every employee that serves here has a heart for the residents. They behave like they want to be here. The receptionists at the front desk and the servers in the dinning area, everyone is a part of this close nit family of caregivers. My father said "after visiting and responding to dozens of care facilities, as a professional firefighter, I would rate this one at the top". They have visiting hours every day, they provide food for their residents, help them bathe, get them dressed. Our loved ones could have their own room or share a room with another resident. They have the living room area where our loved ones can socialize. They had a lady over 100 years old in their care and she seemed very happy. All of the residents are friendly to the visitors that come. When my grandma was nearing the end of her life, her caregiver Matthew was so gentle and kind. He notified us every moment regarding her status and let us know that it was time to visit. If he didn't take the extra step, I may not have been able to say goodbye. She passed peacefully in their care. The actual facility is a house on a quiet little street. It's quaint and the residents in this home get to know each other and become friends.
