Ema's herbs is like no other place for holistic help! I have gone to her for the past 2 years here and there, whenever I can make the 2 + hours trip. Each time it's worth it. However, when more recently I had suffered symptoms that appeared like I had a stroke, unable to get answers from doctors, I knew I needed to find alternative help asap! I decided to visit Ema's Herbs to see if there was anything to help me become semi-normal functioning again. After my initial visit, (on the recommended remedies) within a few days my confusion was starting to subside and I started to have better speech functions. After a month, I could start driving again (after not being able to drive for 2 months) and left side weakness subsiding as well. Now, faithfully, I am seeing her every 3-4 weeks and continuing on whatever Sara recommends, while I continue meeting with specialist to find the root cause. First she will do some reflexology to see what is going on in your body and she was so right on with my many ailments. One of the theories of reflexology is that the body will nurture and repair itself once released from stress. If the body is extremely stressed, the reflexologist may refer you to a medical team or another treatment, if appropriate, but at no time will he or she give medical advice or diagnosis." I placed that quote to begin my review because For the 10 minutes I sat there all she did was diagnose issues left and right. She isn't a reflexologist. She's a cold reader. Emma starts off with a cold reading while touching your feet. She appears to be foreign and may have communication issues. She discovered my gf and I were vegan and immediately began telling us "sorry, you aren't married to veganism." She first appeared very genuine and nice. But as her readings began I couldn't help but feel my guard come up. She may be taking advantage of the gullible and saying they have specific issues in order to make a sale. She also began to knock down hippies and new age hippies once I told her I smoked marijuana. She said she is against "dope" but what I find most shocking is that marijuana is an herb. She was very harsh and inconsiderate and very full of herself. She claimed that a lack of b12 made all vegans she knew defensive. The only irony here is that whenever we calmy Informed her about our own research and findings she would say, "you can say that all you want" and she would get defensive once we told her what we knew. Don't let her fool you. Be open minded but put your awareness on your inner litmus test. read more

Probably one of the best people I've ever been too! I went in looking for iron supplements for my daughter, she immediately said "& for you too because your anemic as well" it caught me off guard, but in a good way. I sat down and said nothing while she looked at the soles of my feet she immediately listed everything that was wrong with me & knew nothing prior. She recommended some supplements to take & I'm really looking forward to it. Her herbs & vitamins are slightly on the pricey side(but they're also her own brand that she produces herself) and the price is no different than what you would pay at lassens. I've been going to Ema's Herbs for almost 10 years now. Ema, and now her daughter Sara are so knowledgeable and helpful! Their Cold & Flu tea will knock it down in a day or two! Liver cleanse tea twice a year helps keep me balanced, and now that I've developed some arthritis, their arthritis tea definitely helps with those aches and pains. I came in here with a scary respiratory issue and bought the recommended blend from Ema's daughter who was very knowledgable. She told me I looked anemic, which I was but didn't realize at that point. So now I have been eating lots of iron rich foods and I feel way better, my respiratory issue cleared up though it took a few weeks of tea drinking.
