    SeaTac Airport, N Concourse

SEATAC Airport, N Concourse. Embarque Whiskey Grill drew my eye while searching for my gate for a delayed flight because it screamed "WHISKEY!" [[HIGHLIGHT]]A nice, modern brightly lit interior with warm wood accents.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bar at this full-service casual dining restaurant features globally distilled spirits, with a bit of a relaxing oasis to imbibe on an American menu w/Vietnamese and French influences. The menu has sandwiches, salads, flat breads and includes a signature whiskey glazed burger, bánh mì and panini, seasonal & locally sourced seafood, and family-friendly favorites like mac and cheese. I tend toward Old-Fashioneds and Manhattans so this was a good place to park yourself while waiting for your flight. If doing a quick breakfast/brunch they also offer a Vietnamese Bloody Mary, w/Sea Ice Vodka, tomato juice, Hoisin sauce, Sriracha, house made Nuoc Cham sauce, garnished w/olives, lime wedge & Thai basil. Service was easy and attentive. Let them know if you're short on time and they'll keep an eye on your orders. You can always take your food packed for your flight. See you there!

Over priced for basic food. Spent over $50 for a bland plate of shrimp po boy and squid sticks "calamari". And two drinks Who eats calamari with marinara? [[HIGHLIGHT]]They call this a full restaurant but it's slime pickings if you ask me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was mediocre so say the least. Didn't have high expectations to start with so I'd have to say they met them.

I paid for my order and a few minutes later was told they don't have short rib sandwich which was $20+ so I chose shrimp po' boy since it was the same price. I asked about the chicken pesto and pesto pasta and the girl shook her head, nada. We shared the order. The spaghetti was good. The wait was a bit long for a to go order.

    PNW sour

Embarque is located in the N gate area of Seatac. We came for a drink after breakfast. One of the bartenders provided us good service & had good follow-up to see if we were enjoying our drinks. I had the PNW sour, he warned me it had some egg whites (the froth on the cocktail) which I personally didnt mind or think much of. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place was a little less crowded than the others in the terminal and they seemed pretty prompt in getting their customers waited on and with what they need.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A nice to place to wait for your flight in the N Gates area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Either order at the counter, or place an order with the friendly bartender. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We previously sat at the Egg joint a couple doors down but it was crazy busy and we didn't want a big breakfast plate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ended up deconstructing this thing since the bagel was nicely buttered and toasted. Couple of cocktails and a bagel sandwich without sitting on top of each other.

We eat here often on trips to Sonoma Square. Great service, excellent food, great wine selection. Nice atmosphere but casual enough, and they're good with kids too. 5 stars all the way! I recently tried the pesto chicken ravioli and it was amazing!

Great public bar, great service. They have some innovative drinks, delicious calimari, and very attentive bartenders. New in SEA and we enjoyed hanging out here waiting for our plane.

    $17 for a plate of lettuce/parm/croutons. I got 2 containers of pre-packaged dressing. I would definitely avoid.

The food fell short across the board: Tomato Soup: It was way too sour, lacking any of the rich, balanced flavor you want in a classic tomato soup. Mac & Cheese: While they call it the "World's Best," it was just way too cheesy to the point of being overwhelming. Instead of being creamy and balanced, it felt heavy. To make matters worse, the guy serving us really wasn't very friendly, which only added to the subpar experience. Between the letdown dishes and the service, it's definitely not worth the airport premium. And it's the airport and the tables were filthy.

Food: (4/5) I'm not the biggest fan of mac and cheese in general because it gives me flavor fatigue sooo fast, but this one was really good! I've had Beechers at the famous Pike location many years ago and don't remember it being so delicious. I have no idea what exactly my partner ordered, but it was soo creamy and just the right amount of cheesy. It was so steamy that it stayed hot for a good amount of our flight as well. This is definitely something I would like to start getting more often, especially as a comfort food before something that can be physically taxing like a long flight.

I've been here a couple of times now, and everything I've had has been memorable, which is not something I say lightly about sandwiches- a category that can betray you! The Ragnar's Club is a stellar concoction of herb roasted chicken breast, bacon, cheese, and apple jalapeño slaw. It's a delicious mess. The kind where things are happening all at once and every single thing is a good idea. Absolutely outstanding. On my most recent visit, I had the Fidel Cashflow, which features some of the most tender, perfectly seasoned pork belly I've had on a sandwich. It's like an Uber Cubano--familiar, comforting, but leveled up with serious execution. Two visits, two excellent sandwiches, which now has me fully convinced that everything on the menu is as good as it looks. I trust them. I would let them choose my sandwich destiny. Service is super friendly. You order at the counter, but you're met with genuine smiles and a helpful, welcoming attitude that makes you feel like you made a very good life choice. Parking isn't the easiest, but you'll figure it out. The space itself is tiny, with just a few tables, so while you can eat there, a lot of people seem to grab it to go--presumably to eat it somewhere quiet and reflect on how good it was. Sandwich shops are a dime a dozen. Really good ones are a special find. This is a really good one. Destination-worthy

After seating ourselves and being greeted by a server (unfortunately I did not capture her name), we both opted for the fish and chips. I can't recollect a time when I had a bad experience with a fish and chips order, so I was optimistic that we were in for a treat. Less than 15 minutes later, two large plates consisting of four fish planks and a healthy serving of fries were being delivered to our table. Biting into the fries I thought, "these are hot, but taste like nothing." To obtain some form of flavor, I had to douse them in ketchup. Hoping that the same did not apply to the fish, I took a bite of one of the planks...no flavor as well. To give it some form of flavor, I had to saturate it in vinegar and use a healthy serving of tarter sauce. I understand that some restaurants are hesitant to pre-season food due to various preferences and allergies. However, I have never consumed food that tasted like what I would imagine the flavor of paper would be. The customer service was good...but if this was an indication of how their other meals taste, I can't honestly say that I could make a return visit.
