First off right when I walk in I'm greeted by the owner she was SO NICE the biggest smile on her face she made conversation with me and made me feel so welcomed. I asked for the spicy chicken teriyaki and spicy beef teriyaki (I asked for EXTRA EXTRA SPICY) if you love spicy ASK FOR EXTRA SPICY! I heard her husband in the kitchen asking me if I wanted it REALLY spicy and we laughed cuz I wasn't kidding when I said I love my food spicy lol! The food came out hot and ready I got picked up from my hotel shuttle as I'm staying at the Hilton garden inn so it was perfect. The food is SO GOOD the spice level was perfect! I also ordered the egg rolls and kimchi with my order and a side of spicy sauce. The order came out to $35 not bad but I wouldn't care of the price I love supporting family owned businesses! The lunch specials were quite impressive. I chose a California Roll with four pieces of nigiri "of the chef's choice," but I was assured I would not be disappointed. I was not! After a modest wait, the staff may have thought I'd been waiting too long for my order, so my server brought a complimentary bowl of miso soup to tide me over. I love a good miso soup, and this was up there with the best I've had. They seem to use extra-firm tofu, which isn't everyone's call. A bit different but thoroughly enjoyable. The main event came shortly thereafter: eight slices of a typical California roll with one piece each of hamachi (yellowtail tuna), sake (salmon), maguro (tuna) and the very familiar ebi (cooked tuna).
