Early morning airport dining is usually a gamble, but Skillet makes it feel a little more intentional than your typical grab-and-go chaos. I stopped by around 8am before a flight, and the place was buzzing. Open seating with a full view of the tarmac and steady foot traffic made it prime people-watching territory. As a solo traveler, I actually loved that. There's something grounding about watching strangers rush to their gates while you sit there with coffee (well, water in my case) and your thoughts, realizing everyone's the main character in their own story. I ordered the Club Chub, and when it came out... I genuinely paused. The fried chicken was massive, like palm-of-my-hand massive. Slightly on the drier side, but still flavorful enough that I didn't leave a bite behind. Food came out fast too, which matters when you're watching boarding time creep closer. Service was efficient but stretched thin. It took a few minutes to get my order in, and I noticed a couple seated after me got their coffee first, while we all got water at the same time. Not a huge deal, just noticeable. One egg was missing from my plate, but when I mentioned it, my server brought it out right away and even added an extra, which I appreciated. At about $27, it's definitely airport pricing, but the portion size helps justify it. Pro tip: Come hungry and give yourself a little buffer time. This isn't a rushed meal, but it is a memorable one. Would I come back? Yeah. Next time, I might just pace myself... or bring a bigger appetite.

Delicious! I don't know if I was hungry or the food was just that good but that salad was demolished within minutes of it being placed in front of me. You wait to get seated then order (& pay) from a QR code. Even with that, the food came out quickly and the servers still checked on us periodically. Prices at airport prices so this (plus a lemonade & tip) was $81.

Food was cold. Burritos full of cold greasy French fries, served cold with a side of overcooked potatoes. Using fresh ingredients would be a start.

Breakfast & lunch options, along with a full bar. Food was prepared for ME, and greens were fresh. I enjoyed the avocado burrito-minus the fries.... Side of salad. Food was quick and service efficient & friendly. They were happy to take my order, but you can also use QR code.

Unfortunately The skillet at the airport does not resemble what I've had in Seattle. I ordered chilaquiles... it was chips and salsa. Hardly in salsa either. Chips were crunchy, no soft chips, definitely not simmered in sauce. Hardly any flavor at all. I feel like I paid for chips and salsa with an egg on top. Bloody Mary was basic... Service, I sat at the bar he was pretty busy but took 10 minutes just to place order and get water. Maybe just an off day I don't know.

Decent food and great service, just overpriced (even for airport food). It's kind of cool that you order on you phone and they just bring it out without having to wait to order... but no huger should be over $20.

Not sure why this spot gets the low reviews, but our experience was pretty great. It wasn't the *best breakfast ever* but it was darn good when we needed it most (following a four-hour jaunt). You have to wait to be seated, but the wait is minimal. The serving staff busts their tails clearing tables, serving weary travelers, and enduring crabby airport types. From the time we were seated to food service was maybe 10-12 minutes and Jocelyn was so friendly and welcoming. Dishes came out well-prepared and the portion sizes are beyond ample. I recommend the granola, a mixed fruit version with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit slices. Sweet, lots of whole oats, and a very satisfying breakfast. My lovely wife opted for the 'Scramble', which was a mélange of scrambled eggs, kale, & bacon atop a slab of whole wheat toast. Not sure how Skillet came upon their fried breakfast potato 'recipe' but they are FIRE. Throw in a hot cuppa Cafe Vita coffee and you have yourself a great breakfast. Pricing is airport-style, so quit yer whinin' and pony up. Seating can get a bit cramped because pretty much everyone has their luggage about them. But solo travelers can always find room at the bar & sample from a strong beer menu, wine selection, & more. It's a good spot if you have the time and opportunity while in SeaTac.

As someone who spends a lot of time in airports, I try to find a spot where I can actually sit down and enjoy a meal, and Skillet looked promising. The space is bright with ramp views and TVs, but I sat for about 10 minutes before anyone came over, while three servers stood at the bar talking, and the online ordering system wasn't working either. I ordered fish and chips expecting a solid Pacific Northwest option, but the fish was oily and heavily battered, the fries were a bit soggy, and it just didn't match the $20+ price. Overall, this one's a pass.

Had a great experience at Skillet thanks to the amazing service. It was early morning and I was in a little bit of a rush, but my server was friendly, attentive, and quick. I got the Your Way breakfast and it was a solid breakfast option. Both table and bar seating and to-go counter available.

I don't get why this spot has such bad reviews. It's got cozy booths and plentiful tables to chill at while you wait for your flight. The food is amazing. The grilled salmon burger ($23.99) with avocado ($2.99) was really delicious - fresh, succulent salmon perfectly grilled on a fluffy brioche bun and a generous mound of sliced avocado. The tomato bisque that you can pick for a side is creamy, flavorful, and delicious. The ordering system is super easy - they even have a QR code option you can scan to order and pay. The staff are polite and the food comes out quickly. Overall the perfect stop to grab some food before my flight!

I unfortunately received some sad news from my family and as a result, the bartender as well as the manager kicked me out of the bar due to the fact that I was crying After I only had one drink

Take a look at the picture of my bacon. It was raw as my eggs were also almost runny when they were supposed to be over. What a waste of money do not eat here or check your food better than I did.

After seating ourselves and being greeted by a server (unfortunately I did not capture her name), we both opted for the fish and chips. I can't recollect a time when I had a bad experience with a fish and chips order, so I was optimistic that we were in for a treat. Less than 15 minutes later, two large plates consisting of four fish planks and a healthy serving of fries were being delivered to our table. Biting into the fries I thought, "these are hot, but taste like nothing." To obtain some form of flavor, I had to douse them in ketchup. Hoping that the same did not apply to the fish, I took a bite of one of the planks...no flavor as well. To give it some form of flavor, I had to saturate it in vinegar and use a healthy serving of tarter sauce. I understand that some restaurants are hesitant to pre-season food due to various preferences and allergies. However, I have never consumed food that tasted like what I would imagine the flavor of paper would be. The customer service was good...but if this was an indication of how their other meals taste, I can't honestly say that I could make a return visit.

The short lines and visibly happy patrons made the decision even easier. There's something reassuring about seeing people eagerly digging into their food, and this place clearly had a loyal following. We ordered the Spam and egg breakfast along with the Portuguese fried rice, and both dishes absolutely delivered. The Spam and eggs were simple but done just right--crispy, salty slices of Spam paired perfectly with fluffy eggs and rice. It's comfort food at its best, executed with care. The Portuguese fried rice was the standout. Packed with flavor, it had that perfect balance of savory, slightly smoky, and just a hint of sweetness. Every bite felt hearty and satisfying, with generous portions and well-seasoned ingredients that made it hard to stop eating. Overall, this spot turned out to be a hidden gem in the middle of the airport. What started as curiosity from a tempting aroma ended up being one of the most satisfying meals of the trip.
