I got my nails done Sunday and as always was very pleased with the service that Lynn provided. I got my nails done and eyebrows tinted. I was very disappointed at the actions of a customer who came in complaining that her nail polish came off quickly. She was only using regular nail polish, The staff took time to explain the type of polish options that would last longer and she choice the service she wanted. Her nails looked nice and she was charged for a polish change, Which was more than fair for the service she received. She was upset and thought she should get everything free. SMH read more

So disappointed - i was going to go in with a friend to get my nails and toes done while she got her lashes done and the lash person cancelled her appointment at the last minute. I was still going to go because i am getting married in the spring and if it went well i was going to treat my whole wedding party with manis and pedis at Embassy. But this lash person- was so rude to my friend . She cancelled with no regard - told her that she works from home so she can come another day because she is not doing anything else. When my friend told her she was disappointed- Michelle said well go someplace else - she is not coming in just to do eyelashes even though she had a appointment. I cancelled as well . Do not come to this place even if the place you normally go to is booked! It does look nice from the outside but once you step inside the staff are extremely unprofessional. No one was attentive, everyone just was congregating in the manicure area (towards the back), when I asked where to go to get my brows waxed (since being my first time here) they just pointed while still seated. The person that even waxed my eyebrows was extremely rude and abrupt, but the job she did wasn't bad at all. As I was leaving to pay, no one was at the register which is up front (because they were all still in the back), so one had to follow me up front to the register to pay (which is where one is always suppose to be to greet the customers). The saddest part of it all is that I was the literally the only customer in the store and if I would of read the reviews before stepping inside that store, I would of waiting another hour to go to European Wax Center!!!! read more

I went to have my acrylic set removed that was done by another salon. The paint is uneven, on cuticles and even my finger, shape is bad as well. The paint job is absolutely ridiculous for a licensed nail tech. After looking over the price board, I was over charged for services on top of the horrible quality. Dont go here! read more

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I feel it is very simple for a quality experience. Even if you're getting ready to close. I work almost daily and I stay 5 minutes away from here. I'm going out of town in the morning and only had time to get my toes done today after I got off. I'm a walk in appointment and I get there about 7-7:15pm, they close at 8pm. I did notice it was one person leaving & just one other person getting their nails done. I didn't come to be difficult, I just needed my toes done! If this experience was going to end the way it did, I wish they would have just told me no. I get the luxury pedicure and the lady asks, "Do you want white or clear?", I respond neither and she goes, "Well what color?" & I'm also on the phone, still communicating with her but I'm like I really don't know. I had no color options in my hand and basically being rushed to pick a color. She brings over the options, I pick, & she begins. My phone starts to overheat so I end my call, I notice the silence & see the other lady communicating with her client, they are laughing, & having small talk. By the time a conversation is started with me, we already are more than halfway through the service. And, the conversation is quick to the point of, "this is last minute" and "I was getting ready to leave before you got here". Next, when she begins applying the base coat of the clear polish, she gets the uv light & rushes my foot in the uv light. My 4 right toes in my right foot all scraped going in, she doesn't redo it! The appointment ends @ 7:52pm. I'm on the phone again, and I'm letting my friend know that I really didn't enjoy my experience and how I just want to pay, leave and never come back because I did not enjoy my experience at all. The other customer leaves right before I do. I tipped and extremely regret it. I tipped because I know they were closing soon and I did like how my feet looked so I wanted to show appreciation. The photo I added is a photo I took about 30 minutes ago. The whole nail polish is peeling off of my toe after only 3 hours of them being done. This isn't even the foot that was scraped going in the uv light. I'm nervous because I more than likely have to go get them redone somewhere else since I won't be back in town until Sunday. I also feel if they started messing up this soon, more could come! If I could give negative stars, I would. Just left Embassy Nails after the nail tech cut my skin. I asked for an oval shape and all he wanted to do was up sale me to gel x. I changed my mind on the shape prior to him starting, he got another tech to translate. He proceeded to aggressively do my nails with yanking and pulling on my hands. He eventually cut my skin. So i went with my grandma and my god mother and we are mexican and was translating for them and we saw other people getting waters, but we just thought it was a different pedicure but no it was the same one and they were giving us faces and still expected a tip. and they don't even take off the dead skin and were really rough. Then we realized they were being racist and discriminating us. Used to get a relaxing foot massage and good cuticle trim and ingrown toenail fix, but no more. Just the bare minimum.

I went to this nail salons because my mother in law raves about it. So I thought I would give it a try. I had sns on my nails previously, so she took it off using a drill. She ended up going so deep on my nail bed that it burned my nail bed and cut my fingernail in half. Then my nail tech stated she was going to cut my nails down for all to be even. They were not all even, they were all uneven, see photos for proof. I told her I wanted round, there was enough of my nail to be round before she cut them down. She cut them down way too short so then exclaimed that my nail was too short for the shape. I'm like ya well now it is. None of my nails have any shape. My nail thumb is lopsided. Then at checkout she asked if I wanted an eyebrow wax and stated that I needed it. No I do not want my eyebrows waxed!! Also too pricey. Will not go back. Ever. 10/9/2022 - I live in Knightdale. I was looking to take off my gel polish from hands and toes to replace with regular polish and did not have an appointment. I too enjoy my visits to the nail salon and look forward to the relaxation plus I have an event coming up that I will get designs and so on for in a couple weeks so this visit I wasn't anticipating spending much. I didn't wait long, but the nail tech was so rude to start. I went with a classic pedicure and she looked offended or as if it was a waste of her time. She was rough and skipped scrubbing. She humiliated me making a comment out loud about my foot and went back and forth with me as to why I didn't want gel polish. Back and forth. The whole time. I asked for my nails to be cut down and I feel like she tried to hurt me because she thought my nails were short enough. Her polishing skills are a 2 / 5 at BEST. Next up, manicure. I did decide to do gel on my fingers in hopes that if I did it would look better. NO. My cuticles still need trimming and theres's gel polish on my finger tips. To make matters worse, they charge $10 to remove gel (each from hands and toes) and if you pay with a card there's a fee of almost $3. A horrible experience for $90. I don't understand when this nail salon decided it was okay to charge 40 dollars for a 10 min pedicure that is only soaking your feet and cutting your toenails. you have to pay an additonal 3 dollars for dead skin removal which was included no matter what anywhere you go and they charge 3% for using any type of card so that they can take cash under the table. I went to Embassy Nails a month ago me and my BFF as we were getting our pedicures done my friend requested a glass of complementary wine and I requested a soda the tech name Lisa said water only,I pointed to the flyer to ensure her understanding... ,45 min later a white couple came in and requested wine and a beer ,it was granted ,no questions asked I made a scene with a different tech ( 12 )she went and got the wine and soda from the other side and tried to fix the issue ,she thought it was a misunderstanding but no ..I explained...one month later she no longer there,..Fired...I feel like it was because she spoke up for preferential treatment towards her coworker racist behavior and favoritism how can you understand enough to ask which service you want but don't know the difference between water only or wine but I pointed to it on the flyer. If you go there and you are African American please request a soda or wine even if they give you diet soda to normalize equality, we are their majority customers and should be treated as such. The atmosphere is nice and clean but the gentleman that did my manicure and pedicure was horrible. My polish wasn't done right and looked sloppy. Polish was on my skin and when I was leaving, I had to go back into the place to ask another lady to look at how my nails dried and she blamed it on the brush of the polish. When I showed him he acted like he didn't see the flaw. I will never go here again and wouldn't recommend them if they were the last place on here. There customer service wasn't good either. We walked in and they just said "pick a color", then said "what you want". Like excuse me, how about how How can I help you. I still tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, and I shouldn't have. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! If I could give this place zero stars I would. The technician was rough with my feet pushing them around. She cut my nails down to the meat and with no specific shape. I asked for color but when she started painting the job was piss poor so I told her to stop and wipe it off and just do a clear coat. She didn't even fully wipe off the color polish and pushed my foot once again. Took us about 7 minutes to checkout because the machine wasn't working and someone had to be called. I wouldn't even give it a star. I went for a pedicure and manicure. I always get the most expensive pedicure. My pedicure was awesome up until it came time to paint my toenails. There was paint clumped up on my toenails, paint left all around my skin, the toenail polish was not completely on my whole entire toenail as well as it was not on the sides. My manicure was done unevenly as well, wasn't on my side of nails, very clumpy, has bubbles on the nail polish, the lady checked my nails and left finger prints on it because it was not completely dry, and cuticles on my nails were not properly cut. I'll ask the lady to redo my nails, she redid the nails for me. But my nails still look the same as I did the first time. I called management after I left and asked for a refund and management told me that she took an hour to redo my nails and that she did not rush me (she rushed painting them). The management insisted that I come back and they redo my nails and I clearly said multiple times that I'm not coming back because they did such a bad job and I had my infant son with me. I will never be coming back and I will be getting a refund. I did not pay $84 for my nails to look like crap. Very upset. I may have short nails but they have NEVER looked this way before. I live in garner and haven't been to this place in over 2 years. Absolutely annoyed they will not give me a refund. I told the management I'm writing a review and she said and I quote " that's fine do what you want, you come here all the time"!!!!! No the heck I don't lady. I also am not getting a refund because the lady did my nails for more than a hour. She took 30 minutes on my pedicure and maybe 10 on my nails!! Terribly Disappointed. I had been going to this nail salon for years, and without incident. Recently, I went in for a routine pedicure and a gel manicure. I followed my normal routine of selecting a PERFECT MATCH color. Needless to say, it was NOT a perfect match. Now, know that colors can be slightly off, but it was clear that my toes were pink and my nails were white. When I ask the technician to correct it, she told me she would have to charge me. I asked "how is that, if I just received service and it is not what I expected or paid for?" She was stoic and unemotional about the situation, to the point where I actually began to cry in my disappointment. She told me that PERFECT MATCH does necessarily mean PERFECT MATCH. How is this so? In my interpretation of the English language, this statement is very confusing to me. Needless to say, she refused to correct the issue and I refused to pay for the correction. Thank goodness my bank allowed me to file a dispute and get my $90 back. I now see why there are so many negative posts up here. I've been going to Embassy nails for the last three years. The tech that was doing my nails for the last 2 years recently left so I've been having to go to the other techs. Lately, the "techs" they're hiring are very amateur and do sloppy work. When you bring it to their attention and ask them to fix it they get an attitude and become blatantly disrespectful raising their voices at you and talking about you in their native language to their colleagues. On one occasion a "tech" even told me she wasn't even a tech nor certified but she came in to help due to staffing shortage during the pandemic. She did not know what she was doing at all and I had to request another tech. They are very unprofessional, including the manager, whom I expressed my concerns to and instead of giving her employees constructive criticism/ feedback and coaching, she brushes it off and says she can't help you. I spend nearly $200 each time on my nails and feet, including upgrades; designs, shapes, etc), not to mention tips, and I expect to be treated with respect and receive good customer service when I'm spending my hard earned money to support their business. I went yesterday and had the worst experience I've ever encountered. I asked the tech if could do a particular rhinestone placement, that my previous tech there did for me all the time, and she instantly started making excuses talking about my finger is too small for that particular placement. Yet I showed her a picture of my nails from a previous visit with the design I wanted and there's no way my finger got smaller. When I pointed this out to her she then started complaining saying it's too time consuming and she should charge $25 per nail for rhinestone placement when it's always been $10 per nail and that's clearly what the price list states. I will never go there again and would not recommend this place to anyone who wants quality services and decent customer service. read more

This place was terrible. I have a regular person I go to but needed a last minute polish change and this place was close and open. The woman who started the polish change on my toes had no idea what she was doing. Couldn't shape nails properly or even cut them. She was extremely rude and rushed. After doing the worst possible job with my toes she couldn't figure out how to get the gel off my nails and was just going to leave it on even after I told her multiple times the gel was still on. I had to ask to speak to the manager to get someone else to finish. She did an ok job. I still paid for both services. More than most places I might add. They didn't seem to use an autoclave on any of their tools. I will never step foot in here again and warn others to stay away as well. read more
