The staff is rude I told my nail tech my tip was broken in half, she says oh it's fine, few days later the tip breaks completely and my natural nail. So I come back to get it fixed and the guy who's usually in charge is so rude about the situation, makes me wait an obscene amount (over an hour) . Trina did a wonderful job for my first powder dip nails. Some friends had it done and I loved the way it looked. Gel wasn't lasting at all like it was supposed to. It seemed that she really took her time and kept wanting them to be perfect. Trina even gave me a little back rub and she has nice strong hands as she massages my hands. Powder dipped nails was $35. Qui did my pedicure. It was really nice and he was also careful trimming nails and cuticles several times. My nails are still perfect after 2 weeks and one toe has just one chip on my big toe. They don't have their prices online so I called and asked how much for a classic pedicure and powder dipped manicure and he told me $33 for a pedicure and $27 for powder. I made an apt and when I was looking at the colors the manager lady with the short hair told me $71 for powder & I told her when I called they told me $27 if I also get a pedicure. She kept telling Trina who was starting my pedicure $71 and Trina kept telling me no, not that much. The manager started yelling at me and Trina. I showed her a pic of what I was wanting b/c the manager can barely speak English and she just said $71 and kept raising her voice at me. I just sat there. Eventually I decided to just leave and not get my nails done. Stay away!!!! They don't have their prices online or on their menu so they try to charge you way more. I have been to this spot a lot. It seems like they are running a nail tech sweat shop rather than a salon. Everything seems rushed. I come to the nail salon to relax and not to feel rushed. The polish chips and the techs look scared. They do your acrylic too thin. I think this is a tactic used to get you to come back. Its pretty on the inside, looks very expensive but that's all you are getting is looks at times. They really have put lipstick on a pig. Pretty facility....rushed work. Take your time and do a good job on people nails and feet. Knightdale is a working community and people work hard to be able to spurge on nails. Don't take our business for granted. UPDATE: NEVER GOING BACK. Looking for a new spot as we speak. I got a pedicure last Wednesday....MY NAILS ARE CHIPPED! Just awful. ughhhh! I tried this place in the hopes that not all the salons in Knightdale are lackluster and this one definitely reminded me why I only get my nails done in Raleigh. The girl that did my nails seemed very rushed and bad just got worse when my nails weren't uniformed, the shapes are all off, the paint is spotty and she kept trying to up sell me when she was failing miserably at a simple full set. -5 Stars! Please believe everything you read about this place. On my 7th day of this set I am sitting here now with not 1 but 3 nails chipped and I do nothing strenuous besides send emails all day. I truly never had issues with my hands as I can go most times 3 weeks even 4 before a new set. The tech did not care when I not once, twice, or thrice but 5 times told her I wanted solid black. You can't really win in places like this as they already have expectations setup when you step foot inside. So I have gunmetal nails and midnight blue toes. I requested a fill for my sculpted big toes and she said "oh no I'll save you money" lady idc about saving money I wanted my set to look great. The feet actually look fine but my hands are horrid! I have truly learned my lesson going to "speed train owned shops" and will be scheduling my next appt with an actual Manicurist who takes her time, does great work, & won't worry about money when I sit down! Beautiful salon, however, the quality of the work was not good. Also, upon checking out, my technician was washing someone's else feet and left to come up front to process my payment. I had to ask her to take her gloves off because I did not want her customer's germs on my debit card; she did take off one glove, then when she thought I was not looking starting using the other hand (that still had a glove on) to process my payment. I was disgusted at the level of hygiene. I asked her for sanitizer so I could sanitize my debit card and she could not understand English. One of the other technicians informed her that I wanted sanitizer, and then she gave me nail polish remover....SMH. read more

Revision: I will never go back! 2 days after my gel manicure I had 2 chipped nails, 1 week later my nails started breaking! Just left a different salon and before I said anything about the condition of my nails, they told me my gel polish was not done, due to the poor application to the edges of my nails is what caused my nails to begin breaking. Mixed experience here! The actual mani-pedi felt nice. My tech was far too quiet and almost seemed scared. My water for both was a little cool. They tried to warm it up on the pedi but I guess they just didn't have hot enough water to really make a difference in the large foot tube. While the woman beside of me said her water was scalding hot! Where my experience went a little down hill was the ambiance. The person who I assume was the manager or owner was very upset with an employee on the phone who was calling out of work. She was yelling at her over the phone that if she didn't come to work she will not work there anymore. There must have been some sort of language barrier because then she goes yelling through the whole salon for another employee to take the phone and tell the employee if she does not come to work she will not work there. The pricing is also a bit confusing, even some of the employees don't understand it. Overall, my initial experience was decent. However, experience with the quality was HORRIFIC! read more

Well I would attach pics of my pedicure, but it didn't happen. I waited about five minutes to be seated, which is no big deal. I was asked to sit down, put my feet in water and then 10 minutes later, a worker said, he will be right over in two minutes. 10 mins latee, he came over with his caddy of stuff and added more cold water to the water that had already cooled. I have never seen that before in my life. The whole salon was dirty. I sat in nail and dip dust and the counter was covered. They didn't even try to clean up after themselves. I was so grossed out I should have left. I didn't even want to come back the next day to get my nails fixed because I was confident they'd mess them up more. Went for a pedicure on a Tuesday evening. I was the only customer in the salon. Many attendants were idling around. I was assigned a "technician" to whom i had to remind to wear her mask. Her mask was under her chin. She was outrageously unprofessional. During the service, she was engaged in a loud chatter in her native language with other staff sitting around. I had the worst experience ever. My mother and I went to get two pedicures and two manicures. When we first arrived, we informed them that we wanted a basic pedicure, and they tried to upcharge us and instituted that if we didn't get the pricer option, our feet wouldn't look good. We always get basic pedicures, so we thought they were trying to up-charging us like every other salon. It was clear they were upset with us and started doing a horrible job and speaking under their breath. The ladies doing our feet were throwing our feet and being really rough. My mother had to call them out for them to stop throwing our feet around. The person who was painting my nail dropped the paintbrush on the floor and immediately tried to put it on my feet. I told her that was unacceptable, and she told me there was nothing she could do about it. I had to tell her to change my nail color to make sure she didn't paint my nails with that dirty brush. We canceled our manicures. They had horrible customer service and horrible technique. The water wasn't warm, and the massage chair didn't work. They also charged an extra $3 on every service due to covid....$3 really...they didn't tell us this until the end. Please don't go there!!!! read more

For the record I give NO stars !!! This has been the worst experience ever! Lee did my lashes on Saturday May 28th and let's just say bu the time I got home, I was missing some!!! The glue she used burned my eyes. I'm talking to people and how embarrassing is it to have lashes falling while I'm talking!! By the end of the day , the middle part of my right eye lashes were gone! I called the shop, they told me to call back, I was put of town by the time so I couldn't go back. Called back Sunday, by that time both sets were gone. And again, Lee Lee told me to call the manager back. This went on for over a course of 3 days. I decided to chalk it up and except $45 going down the drain. I would not recommend anyone to go to this shop. Its a nice set up but services are trash! That was my first and last time! I went right back to my tech (she was extremely busy on that Saturday and I was on a time restraint) and needless to say she did GREAT! I came and ask for a gel pedicure and got regular color. They were going to fix it with gel but I didn't have time to sit for them to redo it. I let it dry for an hour before I touched it. I got home and checked to see if it were dry and it cake of it just wiped off on 4 toes. I went back Monday for them to fix it and they charged me 20 more dollars for the gel from the regular polish. So what did I get for my inconveniences?? Nothing! The young man who did my pedicure was probably just learning and he did a great job with my scrubbing my feet, just not the polish. I also think there might have been a language barrier and he didn't understand me. He did not speak much English. The manager wasn't very nice and I still got charged like it was done right the first time! They fixed it with the gel polish. I had a gel manicure on a Wednesday. By Monday the next week, one nail had chipped and by Tuesday, half of another nail was chipped off. I tried really hard to maintain this manicure as I had an awards ceremony to attend the following week. I went in 1 week after I had the original manicure to have the two nails repaired. They only put 2 coats on instead of 3 so the polish did not match exactly and I had to pay $5. I don't think I should have had to pay since the gel manicure, which normally lasts 2 weeks, didn't last even a week. I won't be back. read more

I recently moved to Knightdale and have been searching for a pedicure spot. As a member of Planet Fitness I saw Serenity from the outside and it looked nice. I tried another spot on the opposite side of the road, by IHOP, and I much prefer this business. I did a basic pedicure and it cost $27. The property is aesthetically pleasing and nicely decorated. The music was relaxing and I am pleased with my pedicure. I will definitely return for my next pedicure and believe I have found my spot in Knightdale. read more
