4/14/26: I don't know why I keep coming here. After Ping left, I should've followed suit. I don't have a regular nail tech, so I just see any free person. I only come for pedi's or to change my gel polish. The last 2 visits were horrible. I don't know why I keep coming back. I'm just leaving this place now & the rude lady I had today made me go all the way back to my car for those toe separator thingys. I mean, how many times are you going to use the same ones? As much as you charge for this service, I should at least get a new one every single time. She didn't even ask me if I've been there before. She just assumed I had. When I walked to my car, I should've gotten in & driven off. She charged me $35 & I paid via Zelle to avoid their fees. I told myself last time after the gel started chipping off on day 2 to not come back. I didn't follow my own advice & I'm right back here again. Not again. I will find a new shop with better service & prices. This place is so disappointing. No wonder they only had 2 customers the entire time I was here. read more

I've loved coming to TT nails for majority of my life as a knightdale resident. But the quality of work has declined. Jennifer worked on my nails, manicure with gel French. She did 1 (one) cost for base and tip and it lasted maybe 4 days. I think she was trying to rush through but it was literally only me there. Very disappointed. read more

This is the best nail salon ever! 10 years or more ago, i was going to stop getting my nails done because of horrible past experiences, until i met Tony at TTnails , his work and personality made me a long time patron! JENNIFER, did a horrible job on my nails, a brand new set was popping off, so she told toney she was afraid to do my nails because,she did an unprofessional job!! i had to go sowhere else and spend another $70 becaus of poor work. they DO not take accountability for their actions and will lie to keep their job.. I visited today for a fill-in and nail repair with Jennifer as my nail tech. Unfortunately, this was one of the poorest experiences I've had here. She charged me $48 for a service that was both rushed and poorly done. Jennifer was noticeably unfriendly during the visit. When I asked for a third coat, her response was, "All you have to do is ask," even though I thought I had already asked politely. While trying to relax my hand so she could work, she let it drop and looked at me twice as if to say, "hold your hand up," instead of simply communicating what she needed. At the end of the service, I asked for oil, and she began applying it sloppily--so much that I had to ask her to stop before it made a mess. I also asked her to clean the polish off my cuticles, but as shown in my video, the polish application, nail shape, and overall cleanup were unprofessional and sloppy. I have been a customer here on and off for almost eight years, but the inconsistency in service has become too much. After today's visit, I've decided not to return. $48 for this quality of work is unacceptable, especially when I could have done a better job myself. read more

They put walk-ins ahead of appointments. Nails done by Nam never stay on. Always short staffed I don't recall the lady s name that did my nails yesterday but she was rough. Kept pulling my hands roughly and hurt me several times while using the dremel tool read more

Disappointed is an understatement. I get my nails done on a regular basis...about every 2-3 weeks. Acrylic/gel. Last week I got a fill-in from TT Nails. It cost about $45 + the tip I left, equalling almost $55. I was really unhappy with the job. Not only were my nails thick, lumpy, and uneven, but the tech took a long time. I didn't say anything, because I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. In a few weeks, I'll get a new set somewhere else and all will be just fine. Four days later my index finger started to separate and come off. I went in the next day, on my lunch break to get it repaired. They weren't very friendly about it, but whatever. The next day, a day I had taken off of work for my child's birthday, the other index finger came right off. I was really busy that day, preparing for a celebration, but had to go in for a repair before our birthday dinner plans. At this point, I'm a little miffed, because I had so much to do, and this was putting me a little behind. But again, whatever. I explained the situation and a tech repaired my nail. I could tell this upset them, just from the vibe. Also because he was filing so vigorously it gave me a little cut. I know because during the moment, I flinched. I also know because I ate a spicy chicken wing at the birthday dinner and the sauce got in the cut and it burned like fire. Anywho, after the repair, he told me I would need to pay. I, once again, explained situation. I explained that I had just gotten them done and 2 nails had already fallen off, how I had paid $55 for these nails, and that it was unacceptable for them to be coming off so soon. They responded by saying that they repaired one yesterday for free and they were charging me for today's repair, and added that it was my fault because I should "take better care" of my nails, and that they will not be doing anymore repairs for me again. This was a loud and embarrassing moment for me, because I HATE confrontation. To make matters worse, one of the two techs berating me had a client. I hated that I may have affected her experience/manicure. She probably felt so awkward while we argued back and forth. I ended by saying, of course they would never repair my nail ever again, because I most definitely will NEVER be coming back. So, YELP, this is my review. 100% unprofessional. Amateur services at professional prices. Totally rude, bottom-barrel customer service to boot. Poor treatment of a generally polite and well tipping customer. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else, heck... ANYWHERE ELSE. If I could have given this zero stars, I would've. read more

While the prices are reasonable ($26 for a basic pedicure) the actual service was painful. The woman doing my pedicure cut me several times with the cuticle clippers. On my big toe she cut an entire layer off and then put the skin she cut off back on it to try to stop the bleeding. My middle toe today is painful and swollen because of the cuts. I've been a regular customer for 15 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Tony always does my nails and is excellent. On the few occasions I have gone anywhere else because I was out-of-town, the nails I got were not nearly as well done even when I went to a much more expensive spa. I always make an appointment and have never had to wait more that a few minutes. I highly recommend appointments for people who don't like to wait. I get gel nails and recommend them over acrylic. I'm not picky about who does my pedicures so have had a variety of technicians and have never had a bad pedicure. read more

Wow!!! I've had nails done for a long time, been to numerous salons and I can say I'll never go here again. My nails were all different lengths and so thin, they'll never last. If you're looking for acrylics. Keep looking passed this place. Ugh read more

i've been before i didn't remember it being that bad. me and my best friend went a week ago and it was fine, the dude doing our nails was okay, he wasn't very consistent with the length or shape. it was a little lumpy and the arch just wasn't built very well for what i paid. this was my best friends first time getting nails done and it was for winter formal. hers broke off 4 days after having them and one of mine popped off after a week from a very light tap. they also didn't have a very good selection of colors. they're overpriced for what you get. the last nail place i went to my nails lasted 4 weeks. we both paid around 60$ and it was not worth it. read more

I've been getting my nails done here for approximately 17 weeks. I WILL NEVER GET MY NAILS DONE HERE AGAIN!!! And I will tell you why. 1) Every time I made an appointment and she was available at that time they will push my appointment back an hour 2) Once I waited almost 3 hours to get 1 nail fixed 2a) I had an ingrown nail and instead of her removing this when I got my full set on August 17 she left it there I did not figure it out until my nail actually popped off and the old nail came off with it and there's a new nail growing on my index finger. (My nail popped off while I was putting on lotion) 3) most of their clientele is elderly I don't have a problem with elderly people but the colors don't match with having a younger client base. 4) they increased their prices on the menu by $3 because recently they got a license to serve beverages 5) THE BIGGEST REASON OF ALL I've had full sets in the past and I have never broken a nail the first and Second time I got my nails done I didn't break any nails every time I've gotten my nails done after that they've broken within four days. I called Tony and let him know he told me that because I didn't come in the moment it happened they would not fix my nails without charging me he said he the most he could do for the gel paint chipping and my nails breaking is give me 20% off. So these are my nails after one week this picture was taken on Friday August 24, 2018 I got them done August 17, 2018. 5a) upon further investigation of why my nails were breaking the reason (TT Nails) told me was because my nailbed was too short and it couldn't carry the weight of the acrylic. I went to a different nail shop they told me although my nailbed is short my nails are very healthy and strong/hard even with the acrylic they shouldn't be breaking in such a short amount of time the reason why my nail was breaking is because TT NAILS USES OLD ACRYLIC POWDER so that customers come in to get their nail fixed. The person at the other nail shop told me that sometimes nail shops do this to meet Financial quotas for the business. I was very disappointed and that is why I will never get my nails done at TT nails again. read more

Tina and Sandy are the best! I was a customer at a previous nail salon. This nail salon is a greater distance than the previous salon but they are worth the extra drive. The salon is very clean and sanitary. I recommend you make an appointment. The salon can get very busy. read more
