I came here to try the rooftop bar for happy hour with my co workers. The rooftop is very nice, ambiance is casual with a hint of luxury. There's a great view to the racetrack. The drink menu has a lot of variety. There are also small bites to share. It was nicely equipped with heater in the sitting area, making it comfortable to enjoy and outdoor view and staying warm. The Italian and sushi restaurants are not opened yet. I will return to give it a try. Nice location, so close to my work office.

My son and I recently spent a week at the Hilton Garden Inn in Arcadia, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish! The hotel was clean, which always sets a positive tone for any stay. The staff truly made our visit special; everyone, especially the friendly faces at the front desk, went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. One particularly kind gentleman even complimented me on my elegance and my sweet dog, such a sweet touch! Breakfast was a highlight of our mornings. With a fantastic selection of food, including fresh fruit, eggs, and even oat milk for my lattes, there was something for everyone. The buffet-style setup allowed us to indulge as much as we wanted, provided we made it down by 10 AM! While we didn't take advantage of the pool, it was great to know it was there. Overall, the Hilton Garden Inn met my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area. Sadly the charging stations for my son's EV were all out of order. Other than that all was great! Thank you for a wonderful week!

Descent place to stay, nothing fancy. Stayed overnight after a Dodgers game and it's about 30 minutes away from the stadium. Lobby area is pretty clean. The room was good but you can see wear on the bathroom tub as the middle area was wearing thin. Speaking of wearing, the carpet in the hallway definitely needs to be replaced! Seeing that before seeing our room prepared me for the worst but the room was fine. The other minor issue was, which isn't the hotel's fault, the app doesn't let you check-in even though it says it's available. Had to physically check-in at the hotel. Other than those 2 observations, I would still stay here again.

Stayed one night while in town for a Christmas party. Didn't need anything fancy as we just needed a place to sleep. It's been a few years since our last stay, and we found it to be still just as nice. We got into town earlier than we thought so I called to see if we could check in early (regular check-in is 3PM, I called ~1:30PM) and they said yes! Can't remember the gentleman that answered the phone but he was great. I let him know I already picked my room using the Hilton app so he checked to see if that room was available. Alas, it wasn't but he went above and beyond by finding a comparable room (as far away from the elevator as possible). Another plus (not that we needed it) is that the check-out time is noon, versus 11AM at most other hotels. The rooms have been renovated recently and they did a nice job. The hotel no longer offers free breakfast, which was not a problem as we had brunch plans, but found out they offer $10 per guest (Hilton Honors members) to order through the kitchen. They also offer a free continental breakfast in the lobby. Not a 5-star property (duh) but definitely 5-star service.

This hotel was nice, it has free parking, EV charger, super comfortable beds and good water pressure. Pet friendly. The pool and gym were great. Good size flat screen. Everything was clean. Cons: electric car charger is in weird spots such as in "diamond member" parking only. People who parked there wasn't charging their gas powered car. There is also no cookies or breakfast like other Hilton hotels.

"Every other day" in bold type, I think the front desk should be informed what guest expectations might be.

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton garden inn in Arcadia, we checked in on Dec 18th for a 6 day stay. A sign in the bathroom says the room will be cleaned every other day. When our room was not cleaned after the 3 days I checked with the front desk, only to be told I misunderstood, I only get room cleaned up on request. I requested just that. After 4 days (and requesting twice) I called corporate office. On our 5th day our room was attended to, because they clean every other day, we now will have had our room cleaned once (1) in six days. I was given clean towels and coffee on 2 occasions, but had to store all wet towels in the closet, because nobody came to the room until Sunday. I was told I left the do not disturb card on the door. I have pictures, time and day stamp that show when we left room and card was not on door. I did speak to a very soothing voice from corporate office who made some promises, but I haven't heard from anyone and it's been 3 days. I never dreamed a Hilton property would be operating like this. I expect a bit more. So should you. What a special Christmas surprise this was.

You can go there for business and/or pleasure. I didn't have a reservation and walked in w/out one. Christopher at the front desk said that they had few rooms available and he can check me in right away. Had to run to the restroom in their lovely lobby very fast before taking care of business. Let's not forget that they welcome you with 2 warm, fresh Chocolate Chip cookies. I had to meet up with a client to discuss her wedding plans so that was the main reason that I was there this past weekend. February 28th, & March 1st. Checked out on the 2nd of March. Walked in to my room on the 7th floor #708 & later was moved to #718. I was planning to give this hotel 4 stars based on what happened in the 1st room, but since everything else went flawlessly from the restaurant, to the pool, jacuzzi, shower, etc... I will give them 5 solid stars for the employees going above & beyond for your comfort. They genuinely cared for your stay and the hospitality was just FANTASTIC in every way, on every level!!! Everybody was very helpful, nice, and caring. Both rooms that I stayed in were SUPER CLEAN, comfortable bed, sheets, towels, were crisp, and clean too. Pillows were also comfortable. Not too soft & not too firm. I had a minor or I should say a big hiccup the 1st room that I had stayed. Around 3:15am I hear this ugly, loud noise/sound coming from the bathroom. I couldn't figure out what the problem was and was keeping me awake. Plumbing problem with the toilet. Called the front desk and Simon who was working the graveyard shift refused to come up to check it out. Instead he sent the security guard by the name of William. That was not William's job. He somehow came to figure out what seemed to be the problem and long story short he helped me move my stuff to the next room down the hall. Both rooms had the following amenities:gym, meeting rooms, pool, with 4 cabanas, small store that had snacks, bottled drinks, cookies and other handy stuff. Restaurant, bar, small fridge, microwave, a safe, big closet with lots of drawers, blow dryer, shower, TV, phone, an iron, etc.. At the time of the checkout, I brought the problem that I had with the toilet and Laura, one of their managers went down on the price which was a very nice gesture coming from her. Also, I used my AAA discount towards my room. AAA always comes very handy! Ate at the restaurant twice during my stay and that's all I can say about this lovely, beautiful, comfortable hotel. Special thanks to Jaydon, the server that I had in the restaurant, gave me an exceptional service! William, the security guard, and the rest of the staff who helped me! Will definitely return next time I need some ME time or if it's work related. There are a lot of nice close by eateries all around. Has a HUGE parking lot, multiple restrooms in the lobby. Very clean, and that's all I can say for now. Thank you all!:-)

There is a huge communication gap between front desk and house keeping team. First the room was not ready by 6:30pm, have to wait over 30 minutes to get our room. Second, bed time comes, we found out there is no blanks for the pull out sofa bed. And when requested, it never came. First call front desk to request, second request at front desk, and then third request at front desk again. Then the on duty manager just says house keeping team is busy. This already 40 minutes later, close to 10pm. we can not sleep or rest. When I told manager that they should at least give realistic time estimate for house keeping team to deliver blanks, the manager just says ok, next time I will say two hours. Very rude and trying to put the blame on guest. The blanks only arrived when I told manager I will start live stream what kind guest service they provide now. In the elevator, another dad/son guest pair told me their request of blanks never came as well, and they have being wait for a long time. The worst service and attitude never had at ANY hotels. By the way. The beds in the room are starting sagging and makes you back hurt now. This place is going down hill. Too bad it was just still a perfect LA hotel spot we always stay even last year. Wil have to change spot next time. Can't risk pay for your room and then can't get by 6pm, and once you are in you can't sleep and gets locked by the front desk manager for just requesting a blank. The the worst, after all these, one night sleep on a sagging bed makes your back hurts. All these destroys the purpose of staying at this hotel. I never give out one star review. I do this time.

I don't know if he is aware of the benefits of Triple A or not, but didn't accept my card. Moving forward with the rest. I was staying here on the 28th of May and checked out on the 31st of May. Needed to get away from my crazy ass neighbors and it was also work related. Victor was helpful in some areas. I told him that I need a room that is quiet, and he suggested 9th floor room #913. Walked into the room and everything was just super comfortable. My window was facing the beautiful mountains. Had way too many restaurants within walking distance. Amenities are: big TV that actually had my name on it, welcoming me into the hotel, mini fridge, I asked for a microwave(upon request), and by the time I came back from dinner, the microwave was already there. King size bed, standard size couch with a small round table and a leg rest. Big closet along with lots of drawers, and iron/ironing board, a laundry facility on the 2nd floor, the Bistro restaurant that kind of had weird hours. I'll get to that in a minute. Had a coffee machine with all the belongings that comes with it, gym(open 24/7),restrooms all around. Inside the lobby, around the pool and jacuzzi area, had a mini market with a lot of late night snacks from Ramen, Chips, Cookies, Frozen Food, Beverages and also a microwave for their guests. It had a Banquet hall and also a couple of meeting rooms. The entire hotel along with the lobbies, were super clean. Had a blow dryer, clean, crisp towels in the bathroom and the cutest shower curtain that I have ever seen inside a hotel's restroom. It looked like a bridal dress from the 50's 60's era. That cute. Presure of the water was not that good. Understandable, they are conserving water. Restaurant was fairly a large size with great people working there with FANTASTIC HOSPITALITY. They also had a small menu to choose from. Had breakfast and dinner.Ate there twice. Great, affordable prices. Also for Starbucks lovers, they have coffee. They don't have room service which was ok with me, you place your order on your app, or on the phone, go downstairs and pick it up. Special thanks to Meg, one of the most cheerful, upbeat, full of love and energy who works in the restaurant. Rosie was nice too. Bed, pillows, sheets were very comfortable.A/C was working perfectly. Vibe is clean crisp and modern. Beds and linens were nice. Housekeeping did a good job. Lobby and room decor were fresh and contemporary and everything was in good shape. Pool area is small and perfunctory, but clean, and they have towels available. No hot tub. They have a nice yard area with fake grass, which probably exists for events. There's a bar in the lobby and they serve a handful of pastries, juices, and coffee in the morning. There's an upscale restaurant on site which we did not try. They have room service, which is astronomically expensive of course but the food was fine. They offer a few snacks and drinks near the check-in, which you can charge to your room. Although the variety wasn't that awesome. All the employees we interacted with were very pleasant and friendly. They have a ton of guys (why are they always guys?) managing valet, so getting your car is easy and fast. They appeared to do housekeeping daily, which I appreciate. Nice illy espresso coffee maker in the room, no microwave, but there was a refrigerator. Other comments: It's not really walkable to much of anything other than the Hilton across the street, although there is a nice big park next-door and of course you can walk to the racetrack. You have no choice but to valet park, and they charge you 30 bucks a day for it. This always drives me crazy, why not just bake that into the price because in LA pretty much everybody needs a car. So the lower-ish initial looking price point initially was a bit deceptive because of course, in addition to paying for parking, you have to tip them every time you want to use your car. They charge you almost 50 bucks a night for a dog, so it would be nice if they could at least make dog bowls available. I wish upscale hotels in general would make it easier for you to get paper plates and cutlery for when you order food to be delivered... I felt like I was putting them out by asking for a plate. Connecting to the Internet seemed oddly annoying and I got charged for it even though I'm a Marriott member. Also, I'm not sure why, but we kept getting weird holds and charges on our credit card during our entire stay which I decided to ignore and just see what happened upon checkout, but my final folio looked correct other than the one day incorrect wifi charge. The person whose review said there were no doors in the bathrooms freaked me out, but our room did not have a problem. They had barnstyle sliding doors, which don't lock, but other than that you can close the door to the bathroom and separately for the toilet. Overall, a very nice hotel, my complaints are minimal, we would absolutely stay here again, and I recommend it

The hotel is in a great location, close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and other conveniences, all within a nice neighborhood. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I appreciated the free on-site parking, included breakfast, stable internet connection, good TV service, and the availability of several wheelchair-accessible rooms. The hotel also offers a small outdoor pool and jacuzzi, and the guest laundry facilities are reasonably priced at $2 per wash or dry cycle. My king room was generally clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I especially loved the blackout window shade, which completely darkened the room for a great night's sleep. While I opted out of housekeeping service, it was a pleasant surprise to return to my room and find a full bag of fresh towels waiting at my door. The linens were clean, although they lacked that crisp, freshly laundered feel and scent found in some hotels. The room itself was a bit cramped but perfectly adequate for one or two people. The desk area is adequate for working. Tiny bar sink, minimal coffee service, fridge and counter top in the room are helpful. There are, however, some areas that could benefit from improvement. The rooms are beginning to show their age, and replacing the carpeting with hard-surface flooring would likely improve both appearance and cleanliness. The shower grout was noticeably stained, both bathroom faucets were somewhat difficult to operate and leaked (water is hot, but low pressure), and there were not enough conveniently located electrical outlets for today's travelers. The in-room air conditioning unit was effective but quite loud when running. Parking can become a significant challenge when the hotel is busy, and because of the nearby freeway and neighboring hotels, noise from loud vehicles and motorcycles can sometimes be heard, particularly during the evening hours. The outdoor pool is small, and the clarity was just OK. I was still able to get a cool off session. Jacuzzi was out of service. The hotel gym is average, with minimal equipment. The endless drinking water dispenser was appreciated to refill our water bottles in this hot climate. The included breakfast was adequate but fairly basic, typically consisting of scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, bread and bagels, yogurt, milk, bananas, apples, juice, and mediocre coffee. Disappointing that was that breakfast was frequently not fully set up on time, resulting in our missing breakfast on the way out for our work day. Overall, this hotel offers good value, a convenient location, comfortable beds, and friendly service. While some updates and maintenance improvements would enhance the guest experience, I would consider other locations to try first.

And she's gone. 1. I was expected a call from higher ups day of 2. She ended up being the one to call weeks later 3. Why couldn't we settle this day of? And also yes, the rooms were disgusting. I don't think not having room service unless its a long stay is working. Upon arrival (she dared suggest there was a charge to check in early) ((which also to waive that fee is leaving a reciew upon arrival which is usually a red flag)) our room was dusty and dirty with stuff and hair all over the floor. Never stepped in there barefoot. Bathroom was the cockroach hub until of course, the last two days we started seeing them in kitchen. We luckily already were so grossed out, we kept out food in our car rental. I have never been this upset by a stay before. Please beware of the good reviews, because they are very pushy for you to scan and leave one upon checking in, before you actually have time to see what you're in for.

We were charged a $25 pet fee for additional cleaning, but unfortunately, the room was not clean upon arrival. There was human hair on the kitchen countertop, desk, and bathroom. When I pulled out the sofa bed, it still had dirty sheets on it and was filled with crumbs, dirt, and more human hair. We also found roaches and spiders in the room. The stovetop and exhaust hood were dirty and showed signs of rust. The condition of the property outside the room wasn't much better. The hallways had an unpleasant odor, and sections of the hallway carpet were wet. The complimentary grab-and-go breakfast area was dirty and had run out of coffee. The staff members I interacted with were friendly, but the front desk was often unattended when assistance was needed. The key cards were also difficult to use on the common area doors. The laundry room was out of order during our stay. I also paid the additional $5.99 for the enhanced internet service, but it stopped working several times throughout the day, making it unreliable. Overall, we only stayed two days. While I appreciate the kindness of the staff, the cleanliness, maintenance, and reliability of the amenities fell well below expectations. Based on this experience, I don't see us returning to this Extended Stay America location.

If you want to tour the hotel, follow Craig Owens of Haunted by History on Instagram (@bizarre_los_angeles) as he gives tours here. I believe he's taking a break currently but if you get a chance, his tours are excellent and very thorough (he has participated in multiple paranormal investigations here, researched the hotel thoroughly for years, and spent several nights in its rooms). A fascinating piece of history (listed on the National Register of Historic Places). The 44-room hotel opened in 1925 (before the creation of Route 66). It was designed by architect Robert Stacy-Judd in the Mayan revival style (but named the Aztec because it was thought this would be more familiar to the public). The hotel was not particularly successful and went through various phases, including rumors of being a speakeasy and a brothel. It was a bit of a notorious spot for a while, with shady characters occupying its rooms. I was told that 11 people have died here which may not be a particularly high number for such an old hotel. Nonetheless, there are claims of hauntings and tales of paranormal activity. Either way, it's a super fascinating and aesthetically marvelous place!
