This feedback is regarding the customer service I received after my stay. I booked a room while traveling to attend a funeral in the area. I checked in after 10 PM and checked out before 10 AM--I simply needed a place to rest after a seven-hour drive and to shower and prepare for the service. After returning home, I reviewed my charges and noticed an additional $5.00 fee on top of the room rate. When I called the front desk to inquire, I was told the charge was for water in the room. I explained that I did not use the water and that it was still there when I checked out. I also shared that I have a photo, as I make it a habit to record a video of the room upon departure for my records. I was then asked to provide a photo with a clearly visible date and time stamp so it could be forwarded to a manager for review. Given the amount of money I have spent with Hilton, it is disappointing to feel as though my honesty is being questioned over such a minor charge. This is not about the $5.00--it is about the principle. I am being charged for something I did not use. If that level of proof is required from guests, it would only be fair for the hotel to provide similar documentation showing the item was missing upon my departure. That expectation would clearly be unreasonable, which is exactly my point. I was told a manager would contact me directly, but I have not received any follow-up. I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service, accountability, and respect shown in this situation. The customer service at this hotel--including the restaurant--was really disappointing. Maybe my expectations are too high, but the overall experience fell short. When I checked in, I wasn't acknowledged as a Lifetime Diamond member, which isn't a huge deal, but it's usually standard recognition. I also requested to add my fiancé to the reservation and was told it couldn't be done last minute, which I've honestly never heard before. I let it go and said it was fine. Later, I dined at the restaurant, and the service there wasn't any better. It wasn't even busy. I asked for ranch dressing, and I'm not sure if the server didn't hear me, but she never brought it, so I had to ask again. After I finished my burger, no one came back to check on me or ask if I needed anything else--like water. It took about 30 minutes just to get another glass. Upon checkout, there was no one at the front desk. I waited around 10 minutes before finally calling, and that was the only time someone came out. I came here to try the rooftop bar for happy hour with my co workers. The rooftop is very nice, ambiance is casual with a hint of luxury. There's a great view to the racetrack. The drink menu has a lot of variety. There are also small bites to share. It was nicely equipped with heater in the sitting area, making it comfortable to enjoy and outdoor view and staying warm. The Italian and sushi restaurants are not opened yet. I will return to give it a try. Nice location, so close to my work office. read more

My son and I recently spent a week at the Hilton Garden Inn in Arcadia, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish! The hotel was clean, which always sets a positive tone for any stay. The staff truly made our visit special; everyone, especially the friendly faces at the front desk, went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. One particularly kind gentleman even complimented me on my elegance and my sweet dog, such a sweet touch! Breakfast was a highlight of our mornings. With a fantastic selection of food, including fresh fruit, eggs, and even oat milk for my lattes, there was something for everyone. The buffet-style setup allowed us to indulge as much as we wanted, provided we made it down by 10 AM! While we didn't take advantage of the pool, it was great to know it was there. Descent place to stay, nothing fancy. Stayed overnight after a Dodgers game and it's about 30 minutes away from the stadium. Lobby area is pretty clean. The room was good but you can see wear on the bathroom tub as the middle area was wearing thin. Speaking of wearing, the carpet in the hallway definitely needs to be replaced! Seeing that before seeing our room prepared me for the worst but the room was fine. The other minor issue was, which isn't the hotel's fault, the app doesn't let you check-in even though it says it's available. Had to physically check-in at the hotel. Hotel is located slightly off Huntington Drive. Very close to many different restaurants and fast food places. So lots of choices for meals. Just off the 210 fwy. Very accessible to shopping and food. Not a very big hotel which is perfect. It has a nice hotel lobby with lots of seating and tables to eat at, relax and hang out. Lots of parking available. The 2 ladies at the front desk that checked us in (Bridget and Amaya) are great. Check-in was quick and Amaya was able to change my reservation at the last minute to accommodate a different type room. All in all, a nice hotel located in the Pasadena/Arcadia area. read more

Stayed one night while in town for a Christmas party. Didn't need anything fancy as we just needed a place to sleep. It's been a few years since our last stay, and we found it to be still just as nice. We got into town earlier than we thought so I called to see if we could check in early (regular check-in is 3PM, I called ~1:30PM) and they said yes! Can't remember the gentleman that answered the phone but he was great. I let him know I already picked my room using the Hilton app so he checked to see if that room was available. Alas, it wasn't but he went above and beyond by finding a comparable room (as far away from the elevator as possible). Another plus (not that we needed it) is that the check-out time is noon, versus 11AM at most other hotels. The rooms have been renovated recently and they did a nice job. The hotel no longer offers free breakfast, which was not a problem as we had brunch plans, but found out they offer $10 per guest (Hilton Honors members) to order through the kitchen. They also offer a free continental breakfast in the lobby. Not a 5-star property (duh) but definitely 5-star service. read more

I booked through a third party. They communicated with ease. I have the Hilton's app and checked in and out with no issues! The lady at the front desk was so nice and friendly! Cookies when you check in! Lol The 2 queen bed room was nice and clean. Bathroom was clean. I just wanted to take a shower and sleep. No other interactions either the hotel. It's pretty quiet neighborhood. The gold line train goes by it, but it was late and the train stopped running. Starbucks and restaurants nearby if needed! I'd stay here more if it wasn't so pricey, but this is lower than most around the area. The other cheaper hotel had reviews of ants in rooms and horrible customer service. Booked Saturday after thanksgiving. So price wasn't bad, but got a discount through my perks with 3rd party. My stays/nights haven't updated yet. I wonder if it's cuz I booked on third party? Checked in on Wednesday November 27th around 9pm Review #54 of 2024 A big thank you to Pauline for getting us checked in so quickly! After a tiring 6+ hour drive from Vegas, her warm smile and friendly greeting were just what we needed. She provided us with a brief overview of the amenities, including the pool, snacks, and more, although we decided to skip breakfast. My only concern was that the hallway echoed quite a bit when we walked to our room. Being on the third floor, we could hear people stomping around, even when they were just walking normally. However, our room exceeded our expectations despite a few cosmetic flaws. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the shower was excellent. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would love to return to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi on our next visit. read more

Guest Privacy Violated, Then Retaliated Against I have never written a review like this, but what happened during and after my stay raises serious concerns about guest privacy, management accountability, and retaliation. Housekeeping entered my room before checkout with no emergency, no noise complaint, and no justification. The room was clearly occupied. Personal belongings were present. Any claim that something looked "messy" could only be made by walking well into the room -- long past the doorway -- at which point occupancy was obvious. That alone is troubling. What made it worse is what happened next. When I returned, the manager personally walked me to the room so we could "see the issue." He pointed to the bed and suggested there was a problem. I immediately brushed it off in front of him, showing there was no damage, no stain, nothing warranting concern. He even stated that only staining would result in a $250 fine -- and no fine was issued, because there was no damage. Despite that, I later discovered I was banned from staying at the property. Let that sink in: No damage No fine No charge No police report No explanation Still banned When I asked directly why housekeeping entered my room before checkout, the response I received was vague and unconvincing. There was no clear justification, no acknowledgment of error, and no corrective action -- only a quiet attempt to move past it. This does not feel like an isolated mistake. It feels like a systemic housekeeping practice that prioritizes turnover over guest rights -- and management appears willing to defend it rather than correct it. Hotels rely on trust. Guests expect privacy, quiet enjoyment, and basic respect for occupied rooms. What happened here broke that trust, and the retaliatory response afterward made it worse. I am sharing this so other guests are aware and so corporate leadership takes a close look at what is happening at this location. We got there 10:30pm Thursday night. We called for extra pillows and blanket. No answer, we tried many times over a 1/2hr period and gave up. The 2nd-4th floor smelled like weed the 2 days we were there - and I mean joint/bong smelling, not vape weed. Friday morning our toilet clogged, we called to have it fixed. We left for about 4hrs and came back it still wasn't fixed; we had to call again. All day Friday and Friday night it still smelled like weed. Friday night there was people partying, smoking weed, and knocking on doors in the hall. We called the front desk around 9:30pm and again, no answer. The king bed was too firm. The carpets were filthy. We had a two room suite and the doors between the king bed and sofa room were glass with no curtains. The breakfast was very minimal for 16.50/person! - when the rooms here are $300+!There are many hotels in this area - do not stay here. read more

I've stayed at Hilton properties dozens of times over the years, racking up hundreds of nights. I have never felt motivated enough to write a negative review until now. This property is staffed by people who clearly don't know what they're doing. My folio was charged for multiple items (food and bottled water) that I never ordered or consumed. The front desk reversed the food charges without me even contacting them because they must have caught the error. I noticed on my credit card statement that the bottled water charge went through anyway. When I contacted the property, they simply told me their report showed the water was consumed and therefore the $5.00 charge is valid. The amount of money is not what's at issue here. It's the principle that they're essentially stealing from me when I never even touched their bottled water. I won't be staying at this property again if that's how they treat customers. read more

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton garden inn in Arcadia, we checked in on Dec 18th for a 6 day stay. A sign in the bathroom says the room will be cleaned every other day. When our room was not cleaned after the 3 days I checked with the front desk, only to be told I misunderstood, I only get room cleaned up on request. I requested just that. After 4 days (and requesting twice) I called corporate office. On our 5th day our room was attended to, because they clean every other day, we now will have had our room cleaned once (1) in six days. I was given clean towels and coffee on 2 occasions, but had to store all wet towels in the closet, because nobody came to the room until Sunday. I was told I left the do not disturb card on the door. I have pictures, time and day stamp that show when we left room and card was not on door. I did speak to a very soothing voice from corporate office who made some promises, but I haven't heard from anyone and it's been 3 days. I never dreamed a Hilton property would be operating like this. I expect a bit more. So should you. What a special Christmas surprise this was. read more

Checked in here and stayed 9/26-9/29, I booked online through Hilton.com and got a great deal through my friends and family discount at $64 a night. They allowed me to check in at 1:30pm which was amazing after driving from Las Vegas, the guy at the check in was nice handed me some water and papers along with the parking pass you need to park, it was a $35 security deposit added on the reservation that you get after you check out. I stayed on the 3rd floor, the hotel was very very clean and well kept my room was very nice it came with a fridge and microwave and coffee maker, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom fit everything I needed it too, being a girl you need a ton of counter space. Overall the stay was nice and comfortable the air conditioner worked great no complaints. This is also a no cash hotel so make sure you have a card to complete all purchases including the gift shop area. read more

Absolutely worst morning Manager & Staff ever!!! The hotel is decent, but we spent several night and a lot of money here, over a few months and we actually stayed here many times in the past, but things have gone down hill. The Jacuzzi kept breaking every day over several weeks/months and we were laughed at and mocked by the staff and the head manager was the absolute worst!!! He was rude and unprofessional and tried to tell me that essentially, it was all in my head that the Jacuzzi was not working, but after getting the maintenance man involved, and the assistant manager, Ryan, and multiple guest complaining that it was cold, I figured out what was wrong with the Jacuzzi and proved that it was not working multiple times. Staff was absolutely horrible with the exception of Ashley. Although we extended our rooms for several days on multiple different occasions and paid in full, they would still call us and knock on the doors early in the morning and call us again and again and demand that we get out of our paid room because we are checked out that day, when in fact we were NOT and every time we proved that we had gone down there and or extended our stay with other staff the night before or with hilton.com and even confirmed with hilton.com (who had to call them several times) Who spoke to the staff and confirmed with them, but that didn't stop the nasty staff from being rude, unprofessional or keep them from calling the room and knocking on the door and get the morning head manager involved when in fact, again and again, we were paid and extended our room(s) for another night or 2 and on multiple different occasions, the rudeness took place. I'm not even going into several other incidents that took place by this shocking staff! A huge lack of communication also between the staff. There was one exception and that was the wonderful assistant manager named Ryan who was kind and respectful and treated his guests with compassion, care and concern. I believe he left the company or this particular Hilton Garden Inn Arcadia because of the nasty management and some of the staff and how Ryan was badly treated by the head manager was so horribly even though Ryan has been there for a much longer time and is more knowledgeable of the hotel, compassionate with his guests and is hands-on with his customers, the way a manager should be. I have no idea how this other manager got in there as he just nearly came this year and has destroyed the Hotel with his nasty and superior attitude and approach towards his guests. So very sad for Hilton, and although there were many things we liked about the actual hotel, We will not be coming back here or giving them our business again. read more

I really like this hotel and I have stayed here many times. The check-in is always fast and friendly, the lobby and all areas are extremely clean . I usually get a king room, it's really nice and comfortable. This hotel doesn't charge for parking which is nice for this area , it's also very quiet . I booked this hotel bc of their pool. I had checked with their website and saw that it was limited but available. I drove out there only to find out the pool isn't available at all. The concierge was unapologetic, told me I can complain to the city if I want to because it's out of their control. If other hotels have pool access, it's silly of them to not update their website after a year. I tried to compromise and asked if there were any upgrades they could provide in the absence of the pool. Concierge said no. This hotel is old, and it needs a really bad facelift. It smells musty, and like old cigarettes. The vents smell... musty. The rooms smell like old smoke. I just spent 5 weeks at the Hilton Garden Inn Arcadia/Pasadena (with 3 cats) while my house was being repaired from water damage. Including over Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's (poor me). I'd like to say that the staff and the service here were better than some 5-star, $1,200/night hotels that I've stayed in. The room was fine. It was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, there was a desk and good wifi (needed for my job), and an (absolutely essential) Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and small refrigerator. The great service started from my first discussion with Adahli about long-stay availability, with her managing the complication that my insurance company was paying for the stay. When I arrived, I requested cleaning 3 days each week. The housekeepers always showed up on the days requested and accommodated many cat-related requests (for example, extra sheets to cover the chairs and bedspread) and extra towels for drying dishes (which they provided from the restaurant). A lot of small extra services, like printing some things for me at the front desk and accepting a number of packages (thank you Amaya), and even finding me a roll of quarters for the self-service laundry. What made this stay truly memorable though were the wonderful people who work there. Whenever I came in, I was greeted by name by people who acted genuinely happy to see me (thank you Bridget!) Every single staff member I interacted with was cheerful and eager to be helpful. I didn't eat at the restaurant much, but when I did, the food was tasty and the service was fabulous (thank you Megan!). Oh, and the fresh baked cookies at the front desk are 100% yummy! I went back a few days after I checked out to retrieve something I had left behind, and was again greeted cheerfully - by name - by 3 different people. It makes such a difference to feel so welcome. And when I left with the item I had forgotten, I was also given a few more of those delicious cookies. So overall, this is a clean, decently appointed 3-star hotel, but it definitely has 5-star staff. read more

Extremely bad experience. I thought I booked a decent stay for the night at LA.It's Hilton owned Inn. Surprisingly the rooms are not cleaned. The curtains in the room are broken ( not closable ). Requested a room change. Then this time has Roaches and the Furnitures are broken. Curtains are working but the AC has. Motor exhaust loud noise. We stayed one night here to attend an event at the Rose bowl the following day. Location is a short 14min drive to the Rose bowl and the room was affordable. The hotel receptionist was really friendly and even welcomed us with a diamond members bag! Not all hiltons do this so that was much appreciated. Our room was in a suite on the 4th floor. The room was clean, spacious and no issues. They offer a 24hr fitness center and the pool area looks well kept. We did have breakfast the next morning which was good.
