Horrible service, I stayed here for one night for some night work I was scheduled for, I spoke to the front desk and ask if I could pay for late check out , he told me no and assured me that I could stay till 1pm . I thought that was perfect I need some extra hours in the room due to my crazy schedule. I was woken up 3 times at 11:00 then at 11:45 then again at 12:00 they knocked 3 times if you don't answer then they come in . House keeping had no respect to waiting for my to check out . Customer service isn't a strong point here. We stayed here on May 27, 2025 and I use the mobile check in to make things easier as we wouldn't get in until about 10 PM. When we arrived, I went to the front desk to get my bottles of water for my timed mediations. The woman at the front desk was on the phone. Usually in those cases, I can just quietly ask for my waters and the front desk worker has no issue handing me the bag. I waited for 10-15 minutes before just asking to which I got the glare. Usually calls to hotels don't take more than a few minutes which is why we waited. We finally just went up stairs as I needed to sit, and called the front desk about 15 minutes later. The woman was nasty, and I went back down to get the waters and had to take my medication late. I would never stay here again. The facility wasn't up to the typical Hilton standards, just like the employees. As a Diamond Hilton member, I give them a ton of business. I expect employees who treat people kindly. read more

When you go to a Hampton Inn, you are assured a familiar standard in your experience. This one is no different compared to others. I've stayed at many Hampton Inns through the years to confidently say that. I'm not from this area but just from driving around it looks like a fine area. Lots of stuff around (restaurants, eateries, fast food, the mall, etc). I guess only con is it looks like there is constant traffic as it seems to be a hub for lots of amenities for the area. With that said the property looks kept up well. The lobby is pleasant and warm. Front desk person at 11PM was still energetic and professional. I didn't check all the amenities as this was a 1 night quick rest stop, but I did see an outdoor pool that closes at 9PM (not sure if heated) and no separate hot tub. The halls to the rooms are bright and dont look eerie at all. The rooms are fairly up to date being very utilitarian and functional. Tiny--by today's standards TV. Conveniently placed outlets with USB ports. There are 2 desks to work on. There are the ever so important microwave and minifridge with coffee maker. Beds and linens were up to par--both being good and comfortable. The HVAC system was adequate with a noticeable hum but no rattles. AC blows nice and cold--period. The bathroom is small, functional, and seems more recently updated than the room itself. Toilet seat is still the cheap low height. Con so far is the following: The bathroom door is a barn door. It serves to close the built in closet when bathroom door is open, and close the bathroom door itself when it use. It has a nice mirror to check yourself out. HOWEVER, there is NO LOCK ON THE BATHROOM BARN DOOR. So when you go to use the bathroom, you slide the barndoor shut but there is nothing preventing shared guests to simply go in there when in use. Bring back the standard door, as in this case function trumps fashion. As with all Hampton Inns--breakfast is included. It's the usual faire and quality if you have been to a Hampton Inn property before. Not much has changed in that for a decade or more. It's doable. Lots of carbs/breads/starches, yogurt, egg, potatoes, coffee, cereal, make your own waffle, etc. Overall another pleasant stay, but not perfect. read more

Great location. It is 15mins driving distance from the place we want to visit. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Crunch Fitness is 17 minutes within walking distance. Free breakfast provided added value. Wished they would fill up the hot water thermos more often and refill more green tea tea bags. Thermo was empty for the 4 times when went to get hot water. Room was clean and good size. Will consider staying again if we go to Los Angeles. read more

Booked on Expedia because of all the great reviews. Came and did not receive the customer service all the advertisements throughout the building was boasting about. Old hotel, I looked past it and was excited to rest in my room. The beds were fine, standard cheap hotel quality. But it was the bathroom that sickened me. If you see my reviews, I only say nice things and hardly give bad ratings. I cant get past this experience. The first bathroom had DIRTY shower floors. As if someone with shoes slid their feet on it. It looked like months of build up. But what really caught eye was the brown stains on the corner. Was it fecal matter? No. It was mold. Fuzzy spores that were forming in colonies. I had contemplated showering (it had been such a long day of travel and sweat) but I couldnt get in. I was convinced I would get athletes foot. I didnt want to agitate the mold and breathe it in. I was so tired. I called the front desk to say I was uncomfortable showering there, and asked to switch rooms. No apologies, no questions. As if this is a common thing. After a minute the front desk said there was another room across me. I wasnt too hopeful, it was likely "cleaned" by the same person. I packed my things, swapped keys with the indifferent and non apologetic attendant, and went back up to the new room. The shower floor was just as dirty, but at least no mold. Fine. Ill lay a towel down on the floor to at least create a barrier. I opened the toilet seat and was greeted by a long scraggly pube. It happens, I guess. I grabbed a napkin and threw it away. But looking at the toilet sit rim, there was this weird yellow stain. Almost like a wet buildup of urine? Like when you clean up crevices of the toilet and get a thicker consistency of old pee build up. Well, that was there on the back rim of the seat. I was exhausted. I got it through Expedia so I know the whole song and dance, they wouldnt refund me and I just dont care. I just wanted to shower and sleep. I practiced my hover abilities over the toilet. I laid a floor towel on the shower floor and did the quickest shower. The following morning I checked out, the attendant didn't ask how my stay was, and I didnt care. I wanted to get out of there. Part of the reason I booked it was the continental breakfast, but there was no way I was going to eat the food. Would not recommend. I dont know why this place had so many good reviews. We went to a concert at the Rosebowl. Decided to stay here for the weekend. Not far from the Rosebowl and Pasadena. Plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. The room was nice it had 2 queen beds, a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The beds are a little hard in my opinion. Plenty of parking that is included also. Breakfast is included with the usuals things like, hot & cold cereal, yogurt, bananas, muffins, bread & bagels and waffle maker. The coffee is not bad either. Was headed to Pasadena for a Christmas party and decided to book a one-night stay here as it was the cheapest. Our room and the hotel looked like it's been recently renovated. The room was clean and quiet (being in the 4th floor certainly didn't hurt). We're coffee snobs but decided to check out the free coffee in the lobby (also had free breakfast that a lot of people seemed to be enjoying). Shockingly, the coffee was pretty good. We had low expectations so we were very pleasantly surprised. All the employees were all very friendly and they looked like they liked their jobs (another pleasant surprise). The front desk guy who checked us in was great - greeted me immediately, and the check-in process was so smooth and fast. Another bonus - we booked the room in mid-October. When I checked again a few days before our stay (to see if rates were lower than what we booked for), it was about $80 higher! This Hampton Inn was impressive! Situated within a bevy of hotel choices on the Arcadia/Pasadena city limits, this property is either brand new or newly renovated. The room is comfortable enough to the point where you feel yourself melting inside of a marshmallow-like bed, while sleeping through the night within a room whose walls aren't so paper-thin. This review really should be a 2.5 star review. The price isn't so bad all things considered but you have to understand you're getting what you're paying for. Do not expect something on the higher end of things cause this place isn't that. Normally I can forgive some wear and tear, and maybe some dust left over in certain places, but cleanliness and some obscene amount of dust was absolutely an issue here. Pictures provided below, I had a lot of dust and goldfish in my air conditioner. The giant air conditioner on the window has a very out dated feel, but I don't always let that be a reason to knock it against the hotel but it does matter to me when it isn't clean. My shower head had some weird brown stains on it and my smaller mirror in the bathroom had rust all over the metal areas. There were staplers hanging out of the curtain holders which was odd and some purple stains on the wallpaper. There were also some webs and dust particles in the ceiling as well. I also found dried leaves and some snack crumbles on some areas of the carpet. Taking the elevators you can definitely see the outdated-ness of the hotel. A lot of the ceiling mirrors inside the elevator are taped on. Lots of wear and tear all over the doors and mirrors. I didn't have much of an issue with anything else. Staff seemed competent and nothing awful going on in the area. I'm sure some rooms in the property weren't as bad as mine. I've seen much much worse in other hotels, but if my room was a little cleaner I probably would have given this review a 3 stars. Again, as opposed to a 2, it really is 2.5. read more

My friend and I stayed here for a weekend and overall had a good experience. I would rate this hotel 3.5 stars if I could. Pros: - The location: the hotel is within walking distance to great food (mainly chains) but there are a lot of options. It's really close to Downtown Pasadena if you want more! - Free breakfast: The breakfast is included and had a good amount of food. Your standard for a Hilton hotel includes hot breakfast, oatmeal, pastries/bread/bagels, fruit, yogurt, and a waffle maker. There is a decent amount of seating or you can bring it back to your room. - Free parking and plenty of parking but there is no security and is just open. - Fridge/microwave Cons: - The room just seemed a bit outdated. It looked renovated but looked very rushed. There were just small things here and there but not too bad. The beds were still comfortable (but if you don't like a medium-firm bed then this isn't for you). - I reported that the iron wasn't working properly because it had a huge leak through the bottom but they said they couldn't do anything about it. I would come back here again-- its way cheaper than the hotels in LA and Pasadena. read more

Stayed here on recent trip to SoCal during July 4th weekend, just down the street from the Courtyard by Marriott we had stayed a few times prior. Also had just stayed in a new Hampton Inn in Sunnyvale, CA that gave me some problems so was kind of worried about this stay. We had arrived on Saturday evening after dinner. Check in was seamless and easy. Parking was sufficient. Our room was on the 2nd floor. Seemed like this hotel was recently updated so it was quite similar to the newly built Hampton Inn i had stayed in previously. AC worked well and quiet. Bathroom was updated with a nice sliding glass door that did NOT have an oppositely placed handle so youd get wet every time you turn on the shower (no cant move the other glass door/wall. Room has a mini fridge which didn't seem to cool well enough but still was ok. Free breakfast every morning. Never ate there but had stopped by to look to see what was available. Fresh waffle/pancake maker. Toaster for bread and bagels. Juice dispenser. Yogurt. Overall, not bad. Decently convenient location in a quiet area. Sits right next to a Residence Inn. read more

I had a girls trip and I knew I was gonna get there late so I saw an option to check in through my phone there were different options on there and the last one said after 10pm so I clicked on that one and it said I just had to get my key so I go to check in in person for my key and I think the girl was new because she was having some trouble then she called someone over and everything was going ok after that then when it was time to check out I went to check out and the lady said what room number your all good to go but when I got in my car to leave I thought I wait what about my recite so I to ask and now there's another lady in the front she said you never checked out i said excuse me I did with the other lady that was here so I told her not a big deal I got my receipt and it said I was charged for a no show fee and I didn't get my points as a member and it said canceled on the bottom as if I canceled my stay so I called and the manager told me they were not gonna reimburse me my money so I had to call Hilton honors and they said they were sorry and suppose to reimburse me I'm not sure how long I'm suppose to wait it's been 2 weeks and still nothing read more

I travel extensively for work and stay frequently at Hilton properties, including Hampton Inns all over the state. This is the only time I can say that I have been genuinely disappointed and disgusted with the service and cleanliness of one of their properties. When I made the reservation, I added a guest at that time for both nights. This has never been an issue before. When my guest arrived, the front desk agent first ignored her, and when she asked questions responded dismissively. He helped everyone around her, and I can't help but wonder if it may have been because of her race. This is a horrible accusation, but there was a definite change in demeanor when dealing with white as hell me. I was appalled, and angry on her behalf after highly recommending this hotel to her for a birthday stay. After the check in debacle, we got to the room that was muggy and hot, and of course the AC is not working. They sent in a lovely maintenance guy to fix it, and after a half hour it finally started to work, albeit not as well as a fully functional unit. He was truly a nice guy who was doing his best to help us. Here's the most disgusting part. After the maintenance guy left, I went to close the curtains and A ROACH STARTED CLIMBING DOWN THEM!!! If there is one, especially a small one, there are most likely more! My next stay in Arcadia will be somewhere far, far away from this Hampton Hell. read more

After that, we notice more ants on the wall and on the window. A big trail of ants was visible and addressed it immediately to the office. Hotel is super convenient for events in Pasadena, and super affordable. The good: There was plenty of parking, and parking lot was well lit. Staff was friendly, and check in was super easy. I was super pleased to see that they had water refill machine to refill hydro flasks or other reusable water bottles, which was located on the first floor near the door leading to the pool. The room was clean and contemporary feeling, and the AC worked well. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance. The bad: If you like a soft bed, this is not the hotel for you. I felt like I was laying directly on a cardboard box. The shower is designed so you have to get all the way in to turn it on, and it's impossible to do so without getting drenched in freezing cold water. They are still renovating some rooms on the 2nd floor, but if our 3rd floor room is any indication then the renovated rooms are very nice and typical Hampton comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay here. All of the rooms are non-smoking. It is an easy off/on for the 210. They have their own free parking lot. The area feels safe and secure. The site is surrounded by other hotels, restaurants and a nice looking shopping center. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance and a bunch more a short drive away. It was quiet and peaceful during our 2 day stay. The lobby/breakfast area is small by newer Hampton standards but it is comfortable and never was super crowded during our Tuesday and Wednesday breakfasts. The breakfast has many of the Hampton usuals, but they have put a local spin on it. Instead of the corporate stale pastries they have local fresh donuts available and they are delicious. They had sausage gravy and biscuits available one day and the sausage gravy was very tasty. So good that I had to ask if they made it themselves and they do. Kudos to them for putting a little personal touch on a breakfast that can get pretty predictable if you frequent Hampton Inns regularly. My 200th review. What a great trip it's been. read more

I checked in to the Hampton in Arcadia and the clerk asked me if I wanted housekeeping service. My wife and I booked the room for 2 nights we work during the day so I requested the service be done in the morning, the clerk said 10am and I okayed that. When I arrived from work the next day, the trash receptacles were still full , and no one picked up the dirty towels nor changed the linen. When I phoned the clerk he said sorry but no one scheduled housekeeping service but said someone will take care of it, I stepped out of the room for some coffee and when I returned I was disappointed to see the linen left on the table, dirty towels still in the restroom and the trash still not taken out, I had to do that myself. I was really disappointed at the service and probably will return. read more

We stayed after the Coldplay concert. I called the front desk at 8:00 pm noting we would be checking in late at approx 12:00 am. We arrived at 11:45, got our room keys, only to find out they did not work. The nice older gentleman with a cane came up and down 3x trying to understand why we could not access the room. He even knocked at the door wondering if anyone was occupying it Like how would your system not show that? He finally gave us a new room, at 12:20am. The room had several faults. The shower handle was broken! The clock was set 1 hour ahead. And the window had no screen so no way to have that open! Plus talk about a safety hazard! The breakfast in the am was packed with not enough food or seating. And finally, there was a homeless lady sleeping on the seating area bench outside the hotel doors! read more

1.22.17: This was for a quick one night sleep over. We got checked in by David and he was straight forward and quick. Yes of course he was friendly as well. Got a renovated room and it's smaller than the other rooms, but it worked for us. The room is modern and not bad at all. I like the bathroom, although flushing was super duper loud. The bed was comfortable and I slept without a problem. We went to use their small gym and it was perfect. Surprised to see someone else come in and use it too. As in all hotels we are always the only ones. After our workout we wanted to check out breakfast. Free Breakfast included with stay. Nice for us common folks without the Elite Status. I love the breakfast setup. I got a banana to start. They have three types of juices. There were loads of fresh baked goods. I tried a muffin. I love the diy waffle. It was legit and fun. Top it with fruits or eat it plain. There was sausage and eggs which ran out quickly. There were two ladies there cleaning the area and filling it up. I waited 5 minutes for the sausage refill. Not bad of a wait. Since there was so much food. I didn't try the cereal but it was nice to have. I loaded my plate with fruit after finishing my lovely waffle. But the fruit was super gross. I had to throw it out. It was all tainted with a weird taste. The melons were all bad. Oh well. So instead I took a banana to go. My juice was super sweet but it was fine to have a little. The tea and coffee area was located near the front desk. So I got myself some tea. I love that they have tea and coffee available 24 hours. The hotel is very clean and finding the entrance was confusing at first, but just look for the signs. After our breakfast we got ourselves cleaned up and checked out. The shower was perfect pressure surprisingly. Great room! Great Stay, nice staff and great breakfast. I would stay again. read more

We stayed here a couple nights and overall, the experience was positive. The good: Friendly service, clean room, decent rates, good breakfast in the morning, which is free for guests, with a nice variety of food. The bad: The beds! Very hard mattress and you can hear the springs squeaking when you move around. I could tell the mattress is very cheap. I was disappointed because most Hampton Inns I've experienced had very comfortable mattresses, but not this one. I wouldn't stay here again because I have to have a good night's rest, so having a good mattress is #1 on my list. read more

I can see no other way this was rated higher than 3 stars other than the price. This is the worst Hampton I've ever stayed in. We stayed for 5 days mon-fri. It was not busy yet we were placed in a room where the sun faces it and became hot very quickly. The cabinets and bedframes in the room are dated. The refrigerator cabinet door annoyingly creek when closing. You can't move at all because the metal bed frames make an absurd amount of noise. None of the outlets worked or were too large for our adaptors to stay plugged. I needed them to do remote work. The breakfast attendant was unfriendly and the front desk was very unwelcoming. To seal the deal, they put someone above us on NON busy days. We have an infant staying with us. Very inconsiderate. I never complained to the front desk, but I can't recommend this hotel to anyone.
