WORST EXPERIENCE IN ALL MY YEARS! This place was BEYOND filthy and the staff rude,dismissive and unorganized. Our father had a serious stroke so my sister took an emergency trip to Austin, and I am joining her in a few days. I booked quickly through Booking. I called Embassy Suites Hilton, to let them know my sister would be arriving before me, as I had loose ends to tie up before traveling myself. The woman I spoke with at the front desk simply said l, "No she cannot check in as your guest, it has to be you. I explained we had an emergency and could I please speak to the manager. She directed me to a number that was disconnected. I promptly called back and explained their manager line was not working and she transferred me again to the same disconnected number. I called a third time and finally spoke to the manager Christian. Christian, who also had the personality of a bot, explained I needed to change the name on the reservation to her name for her to check in. This is exactly what I did. I continued to email the property twice and send text messages through their "text line" ( 7 times) asking questions and asking them to contact me if anything else was needed. I received ZERO communication back. Upon check in, they told my younger sister that she needed to pay$ $1,700 immediately to stay there under the reservation, even though I expressed that I would be paying. My younger sister did not have the money on her debit card and they rejected any digital information. She had already had 4 flight delays and did not arrive until after 12am. Juan, was working the front desk upon her arrival. Once my sister was denied stay at the property, she began to cry. She was simply frustrated and exhausted. I offered to pay everything over the phone, he just said to me, that is not our policy, followed by, " I just don't want to get fired. ". Then he went into the back room and left her at the front desk in tears , while he scrolled on his phone. She was literally yelling his name for him to come back to the phone to speak with me. I said to Juan that we respect their policies but we need to find a solution. We can't put my sister on the street at practically 1am at this point. I transferred money to her account so they would let her stay for the evening. The website says the booking price for a room was around $150 a night. Somehow she was charged $700 for two nights. Even though she arrived after midnight. Literally she is just sleeping in the room. After she checks in, the room is absolutely filthy. The furniture is stained the walls are dirty, she got into the bathtub and it was filthy! Soap scum everywhere and Pubic hair was floating on the surface. Please, do not stay at this property! Terrible hotel, terrible experience in ~30 hours here, I would never give even a single star... When you book it looks like a nice clean hotel, but in reality, it is not even "hit or miss" - it is just "missed once, missed twice, missed one more time" At first Jacuzzi has no bubbles, it has a slow water flow, useless, only good looking on the hotel photos. And the only reason I have picked up this hotel was a pool and jacuzzi!!! I spoke to maintenance person about jacuzzi and he told me that pump is broken, but as I see other reviews it was broken for over a year!!! And management doesn't care about fixing it! Actually, on the morning they placed "Out of service" paper on the jacuzzi rail" 6th floor rooms are kind of on the high end but so outdated as all the entire "Hilton" chain. Room 606 - to flash the toilet, you need to flash 10-15 times, terrible, they try to save the water, and they have low water setup, some flash cartridge, but it does not work. Had to spent 10 minutes trying to flash out the toilet!!! Where is the "American Standard" 1 gallon per flash??? Your economy toilet cartridge cost you 10 gallons of water in 20 small water portions flashes!!!! Hot water, I understand I got to my room after 2:30 AM, so I went to the shower and had to wait at least 10 minutes until some warm, and finally hot water reached my 6th floor... Not very clean... I mean exactly what I say, I have already changed 3 rooms in 1.5 days, Monday morning, and Monday to Tuesday night, as each room had some kind of problem, and each!!! of 3 rooms had some "cleaned issues as well". Room in 606 had some "leftovers" in it on the walls and floor in the shower... Another room, I think room 526, has some hairy leftovers. Next room 402 had a terrible celling in the bathroom, mold covered with multiple repair patches, instead of to paint the entire celling, there were like 5-6 patches, looking terribly bad. Nest issue - No early check in!!!! Even that it looks like less than half occupied hotel - they don't give an early check in! I had to pay extra night as my flight got to Austin at 1:15 AM and I got to hotel after 2:10 AM, night from Sunday to Monday, but check in time was Monday at 4PM, so I had to purchase additional "Sunday" night for 3 hours of sleep, between 3AM and 6AM... My original reservation was for 3 nights done by company with over $780 for this period, I called hotel at night before arrival to make sure that I will get a room, and Hilton agent make all this even more complicated, instead of adjustment, he made a double booking for the same night. Initially, on the checking at night, nice lady at the front desk told me that I will not be double charged for Monday 2AM to 6AM early check in. However, as a result I got billed 3 times for 30 hours in Austin, I had to call a few times afterwards and explain how all this happened, got one charge refunded, but still ended up with two bills for June 15 check-in thru June 16 final check-out. Bar is a dead spot, with only 7 to 10 bottles of alcohol and nothing appealing. I know it is a Southwest, so here are commonly no top shelf brands, but at least a simple Spiced Captain Morgan and regular Coke, or something better than a cheap Tito vodka distilled from corn, so alcohol in overall is "get a worst headache tomorrow even after one drink"... Overall, the bar seems to exist only as a checkbox to claim a 3-star hotel standard, while in reality, the hotel falls below that level. The omelet was the only positive aspect of this visit. Although breakfast is included, which is not particularly important to me, it was good. The kitchen and front desk staff were also very friendly. On Monday around 5 PM at check-in, I was given room 526. I had specifically requested a quiet room (as noted in both my AMEX travel profile and Hilton profile), away from elevators, HVAC, and vending machines. Ironically, after moving just one floor down, it ended up being even worse. When I first got into the room, I just dropped my bag and went out for dinner and to explore downtown. But when I came back around 10 PM, I realized there was a massive HVAC system right outside the window. At first, I thought I'd just deal with it for the night and switch hotels the next day, but within about 30 minutes I had a bad headache. I even recorded a video showing the noise level at around 70 dBA--it was pretty unbearable. Around 10:30 PM, I went to the front desk and asked to move rooms, and I was relocated to room 402. That room was much better, and I was finally able to get a good night's sleep. I checked out early the next morning at 8 AM and moved to the Hyatt Place, where I stayed for the next two nights and had a much better experience (great pool, too). This place is horrific. I 100% believe the positive comments on here are from employees or family members of employees. Cristian G. at the front desk was incredibly rude (he was kind to the man in front of us and behind us). During the interaction with front desk boy, a woman with no hotel affiliation identification appeared behind the desk and stood next to him as he was being rude. The rooms are very old. There are no lights in the room, only lamps. The refrigerator in the room is making a noise that sounds like a bee hive. The cabinets are falling off of the hinges. The seating in the common area of the room is falling apart. This is a dump. I tried to get ahold of a manager about how rude the front desk personnel was and no one can provide me any information. Terrible overnight experience, management refused to address a basic noise complaint I am currently staying at this Embassy Suites in Austin, and this has been one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. The room next to ours has had the TV blaring loudly for over six hours. It is almost midnight, and we still cannot sleep. I have called the front desk six times. I also knocked on the neighboring room door, but no one answered. Despite repeated calls, nothing has been resolved. On my most recent call, the front desk told me they "can't do anything about loud TVs." That is unacceptable. A hotel's most basic responsibility is to provide guests with a reasonable chance to sleep. If a room is creating a sustained disturbance late at night, management should intervene, move the affected guest, contact the room, send security, or take some other meaningful action. Instead, we have been left awake for hours while staff repeatedly fail to address the issue. I understand that hotels cannot control every guest's behavior, but they absolutely can control how they respond. In this case, the response has been dismissive, ineffective, and completely inadequate. I would not recommend staying here if you expect basic quiet, rest, or responsive management. read more

This is an older property. So, things can appear worn or may not be 100% perfect. My shower light flickered the last day of my stay and the air conditioning at night seems to switch off. The good - The people who work here are very friendly. Jenny at the bar was exceptional. Breakfast bar is always great. One thing Embassy's are doing today is pay for parking. Another revenue generator. However, it used to be one of the perks. Now a hinderance and one thing more to consider when staying at an Embassy. The hotel is the perfect place for a conference or long weekend stay. It's an old school style where the main area is open concept with the bar and lobby covered but glassed to allow for a lot of light but temperature controlled. The rooms are spacious and suites with a basic kitchenette. No balcony to outside but there is a nice view of green space looking towards downtown. It was quiet, clean and insulated from neighboring rooms. The breakfast is full on with made to order omelettes or pancakes and all the extras. Plenty of free parking too. I have been trying to find the best way to deal with hotels as there is quite a few parts from the initial entrance to the front desk. The lobby and pool, maybe a gym. The elevators, any food or restaurants/bars if they have them. The lobby was overall nice, Everything about the hotel is older, not in the classy way. You can see it was really nice at one time, there is some cool water ponds and flowing water, even a bridge. Lots of seating for when the bar and restaurant is open. First impression is okay, some of the furniture is coming apart with tears and seam rips. It just seems like they no longer care. There was no one at the desk when I entered. They showed up soon after. It was easy as they never took and ID or confirmed who I was, made it fast but weird as usually they always want the ID. There is a $100 incidentals charge. We headed to the room, two elevators move between the 6 floors. We were on the 3rd floor. The elevators are glass which gives a cool view but had a lot of fingerprints and something I noticed as it was so prevalent was puddles and water everywhere, it was a very wet hotel including in the elevators. Our room had a living room area and a separate bedroom. The bathroom was sort of between the two. Again, it needs an upgrade and overhaul. The Living room area had a table with two types of chairs, a large flat screen TV, an old couch, a chair and a large foot rest for the couch and chair. But the bathroom here might be the biggest issue we had. THE BATHROOM!!!! The toilet paper holder was behind you when you sat down making it hard to reach, it was an awkward spot and there were better options. The mirror was a decent size and there was a good amount of counter space. They only give you two large towels even though we had two people for 3 days/2 nights. My wife went to get coffee the next morning and picked up some extra towels. There was a empty toilet roll still on the floor under the towel rack beneath the sink. Not towards the back, you could see it when you were in the bathroom pretty plainly making me thing the cleaning jobs are rushed due to poor management. The toilet was fine, but the shower! The pressure was garbage. Then the temperature! We both took showers at different times of the day and the water was lukewarm at best. I like my water way hotter then my wife but even she was disappointed We had it all the way up and let it run the 2nd time hoping it would get hotter, but nope. No pressure and lukewarm water. Worth every penny... Now back to the rest of the room. The TV's didn't work great, one had no guide, the other the guide was iffy shutting down every time you tried. No Netflix, Youtube, pandora, or any internet options which again in this day and age is a minus. The couch in the living area was garbage, hurt to sit on and sounded like it was going to collapse when you sat on it. The chairs were better but all old. The staff was nice but you got the impression they know they were on a sinking ship that the Hilton people were not going to put any extra money or effort to fix it. It will just get worse. No no no do not stay here! We made the mistake for once of not reading the reviews for this jalopy of a hotel. This hotel is about as tired as we were after dealing with this place for a night. The lobby area isn't really nothing to look at. No Swans or anything. Bar area was nice. They gave us like 10 free drink coupons. My fiancé used 2 of them and the wonderful bartender made me a great mocktail. The night staff let us have some drinks from the store on the house. That's it! That's the only good part about this hotel. Here comes the review you have been waiting for. Upon checking in, our original room had a mainteince issue. While the front desk agent was assigning us a different room, I saw a folder behind him that said "Refunds for no a/c" and I already knew what we were about to get into. Our first room was very mildewy and moldy and would not cool off. We were cleary upset that we paid $158 for something that I would expect out of a Palace inn in Houston (IYKYK) My fiance went downstairs and we got changed to the 6th floor which is the "premium floor" I called this floor the "you can put lipstick on a pig but its still a pig" floor. This "nicer" room was clearly not worth whatever price the normal rate is. While there was no nasty mold, the fire alarm in the room was hanging off the wall. There was a bug on the wall, there was no hot water in the shower (which we later learned the whole 6th floor had this problem) and the best part.... The toilet DID NOT flush. Yes you heard me right, the toilet would not flush. We had to manually flush it cause maintence would not come up or use the bathroom elsewhere. Even if you could use the bathroom, wait till you see how low the placement of the toilet paper is. It's literally near your feet. Good luck if your 6 months pregnant like me. The pool was disgusting. It was extremely cloudy and cold for an indoor pool. Looks like it needed to be shocked and the hot tub wasn't any better. Don't worry, the evening entertainment came later that night when two people clearly off drugs ran into the hotel and started screaming in the middle part of the hotel at each other. I never felt unsafe in a hotel before. These people even approached my fiance while he was outside and he felt scared for his saftey but no one called the police on them. We gave up and literally went to bed on edge and almost in tears. We didn't even want to eat the breakfast here because we knew it would taste like how they took care of this place. If you are forced to stay here due to no other hotels that night or for work, try to at least get on the "nicer floor" its much better then what this hotel normally offers. If I were able to give negative stars, I would. **HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - SAFETY COMPROMISED** My Cousins and I planned a trip to Austin. My Cousin booked this hotel because she was a Diamond member and said she had stayed with Embassy before. We had cousins staying at another hotel and we hung out with them there . We arrived back at our hotel in the early morning hours and realized there wasn't any available parking in the front so we were going to look in the back. As we were headed to the back, we noticed a spot on the side and prepared to back in. Out of nowhere, a woman appeared and literally started walking right in the path of us backing up. My cousin was upset and shouted for her to watch out. When I looked in that woman''s face, she looked as if she were on drugs or mentally ill or both. She started walking up to the truck. We did not feel safe so my Cousin pulled back to the front of the hotel to let the front desk attendant know what just happened. Most hotels lock the doors after a certain time, however this hotel does not. It was after 3 a.m. and my cousin was able to just walk in. We remained in the truck and my Cousin went in to explain what happened. The person at the front desk said to just park right in the front and it would be fine. We park (it is 4 of us), go up to our room, take showers and get in bed. I was still awake (my sister and 2 cousins were asleep) and I hear someone beating on the door. I sit straight up and say to my cousin to wake up because they probably want her to move the truck. It is now after 5 a.m. but the knock stopped so I didn't try waking my cousin up further. Then less than 10 minutes later there is LOUD REPETITIVE banging on the door. It is so loud everyone in the room wakes up. One of my cousins goes to the door asking who is it. Guess who it was?? The woman we had encountered in the parking lot when trying to park!! OMG!! Not only is she beating on the door, she is shouting expletives, and twisting the knob!! We are beyond shocked, upset and frightened. How in the world does this woman know what room we are in???? When my cousin calls the front desk Sabrina first says the woman said her boyfriend was in the room so she told her the room number. Excuse me - so anyone can get room information no matter what!! Clearly there are no men in our room but how dare you compromise our safety!! Then the story changed to they are very aware of this woman because they have to escort her out frequently. Again, what??? When my cousin demanded to speak to a manager, she was told the manager would not be there until later in the morning. My cousin expressed that this was not acceptable and she wanted a manager to call her because we no longer felt safe. Do you know that woman told my cousin that if she didn't calm down, she would have her removed from the premises!!! This hotel is very old and raggedy. There were stains on the bedding toward the bottom, the ceiling in the bathroom was old and tearing, the sofa didn't look clean, and it didn't smell fresh. This is not the hotel accommodations that I ever stay when traveling but I didn't schedule this. Needless to say I remained awake until daylight. I was stressed, scared and wanted out of that dirty, unsafe, hotel. Oh and the next answer at 9 a.m. regarding a manager was that one would not be available until the evening. Once it was daylight, we immediately packed up and left. My cousin had to find us another hotel to stay until it was time for us to go back home because we refused to remain there. If this is what a Diamond member experiences, I tremble at the thought of what a lower tiered member would go through. I still do not feel this was resolved and it appears nobody cares. I couldn't do anything but just laugh at our stay. We only stayed for one night, and thankfully we didn't stay any longer. It was obvious our room was not cleaned properly or maybe even at all. My bf found these lashes glued like this on the restroom mirror(pictured). Why would anyone do that, that's nasty. And after I told the front desk and showed them the pictures to make sure they'd clean it up for the next guest, they just laugh and simply said "my bad". I couldn't do anything but just laugh with them and leave, to never coming back again. Also the carpets were very sticky and the sink was cracked. Everything went well, except for the $45 parking fee, which may be a deal breaker in the future! There was a group of us having a small class reunion of which about 15 rooms were reserved, none of us could find out what the cost would be until quite sometime after we checked out! We are having another reunion in September so we are looking into other places to stay! I spoke with the sales department, this person was very nice but couldn't make any adjustments! It's coming from corporate, so you can't reach out to them, I tried! Also I have to use wheelchair parking and they said that too had to be charged! The employees were very nice and friendly, great location , but having to pay for parking when all of us are retired in an open parking lot in the suburbs is a game changer, I'm a Hilton Honors member as well and no consideration recognized! An old hotel with some recent improvements. We wouldn't stay here again. Our observations: -Friendly service at front desk -Indoor pool is a dump. It's humid in there and they had open paint lying around and a ladder by the jacuzzi -The bathrooms hadn't been renovated in some time. Upgrade your environment like other Embassy Suites. This was truly the worst Embassy Suites that we have ever stayed at. On day one, the safe wasn't working nor were the phones. On day two, there was no hot water and in the evening we heard water drip dripping in the walls. To top it off, they charge for parking when there are so many parking spots available. We went ahead and parked on the neighboring lot that was vacant for free. The breakfast environment is not like the other ones, very tight. Additionally, there is no coffee bar in the lobby during the day like the less expensive Hilton's. The hotel coffee, both in the room and for breakfast, was low quality. A cozy location to stay in while traveling into Hill Country to begin 2019. Although somewhat dated with its room furnishings, the hotel more than made up for it with its downstairs confines (which included an interior bridge with swans swimming), location in close proximity to I-183, and phenomenal breakfast options in the traditional Hilton Embassy Suites brand standards. Just a note on my room furnishings- by no means was the furniture beat up, broken, or exceptionally used. It just showed its age with style & design. In comparison to many other Embassy properties that I've stayed at, I would guess that the property is due for an update. Nonetheless, I did find it to be comfortable, and remarkably quiet considering that it was a New Year's Eve night stay. You heard people within the lobby (expected), yet the walls weren't paper thin. Great customer service from the bartenders that kept the line moving during the manager's reception until 7:30 PM, as well as the hospitality from the front desk. Just like all other Embassy Suites, this one offers a free happy hour and free cooked to order omelets for breakfast. In room amenities include a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, two TV's, a separate bedroom and living room with a pullout sofa. There's also an indoor swimming pool. ======================= Now I'm going to publicly state my opinion on the swans. I really struggled deciding whether to do this or not, but after a lot of contemplation, I decided to do it. So, move along if you don't want to hear my opinion. I've been to several Embassy Suites that have the swans, and I always thought it was cool. But now I'm starting to have second thoughts. As other reviewers have said, the swans are kept in putrid fountains. There's a card left in each room explaining that these are Royal Swans and that Royal Swans are "muted" and unable to protect themselves in the wild. They go on to explain that they chose these swans because they believe they can protect them and provide them a safe home. Well, I'm going to have to call "fowl" on this statement. Royal Swans are considered an invasive species in the U.S. and they survive and multiply quite well. Furthermore, I seriously doubt they "saved" these swans from the wild. I'm sure they get them from a breeder. I'm going to rethink my stance on staying at Embassy Suites because of this practice. Seriously. Sorry for the rant folks. read more

I stayed here some years ago before Covid, August 2019 to be exact. What a difference a few years made! It was so wonderful, beautiful, clean and well staffed then. I cannot say the same for now. The first thing I noticed when I finished checking in was a protective screen in front of one of the 2 elevators. It was not working. Then I stepped into the working elevator and noticed it had a missing bar on the rear and the glass wasn't clean. I paid for the premium floor which is the top floor and previously there were snacks on the counter. There were no snacks this time. They had given me 2 bottles of water. There were 4 of us. The room was stuffy I figured we just needed to adjust the temperature control. I pressed it to lower the thermostat, there was a rumbling fan constantly going. The thermostat did nothing the temperature never changed. It was late so we went to sleep. The next day, I went down for the complimentary breakfast that I remembered had been truly amazing before. It was still a decent spread, the cook only made omelets though, no pancakes as before. The breakfast ends at 9 am which is pretty early, especially when you're on vacation and would like to move at a more leisurely pace. However, it is free so you can't beat that. My table had some sticky stuff left on it. This would be a recurring situation throughout the stay, nothing seemed to get a true cleaning and they really seem understaffed. That evening we attended their complimentary cocktail hour. Something else that I had enjoyed previously. This time, the premade margarita was very watery, I tried the premade rum punch next, it was definitely better than the margaritas. They had put out some chips and salsa and pretzels as well as some raw vegetables and dips. Previously they had some warm hors d'oeuvres type of snacks but again, it was free so.... We went to our stuffy room for the second night and were trying to figure why the controls weren't working, thinking maybe we just didn't know what we were doing. Now, I did receive a text the night we got there (Thursday night) and the afternoon (Friday). I said we were fine because cause I truly thought we would get the air conditioner turned up and be a bit more comfortable. When we came to the hotel Friday night we noticed the doors all propped open and the lower floors windows open. When my daughter awoke the next morning she said she had slept horribly and was having trouble breathing because it was so stuffy and only the lower rooms could open their windows so we couldn't even let fresh air in. We had an early day Saturday so we left without talking to the front desk about it but it would be addressed as soon as we got back. So I went to ask about the temperature controls in our room when we got back. This is when the young lady at the front desk let me know that the air was broken and had been for our whole stay. Thats why the doors were open (letting all of Austin's flying insects into the building) and she apologized saying she had "forgotten" to tell us. She said she felt bad because she didn't even have a fan to give us cause they knew our windows didn't open. She asked if we would like to move to a lower floor because since we were on the top floor it was the warmest. It was our last evening and the hotel was warm all over, in the elevator was muggy. The room was warm and housekeeping hadn't even been in our room. The lobby bathroom was a mess and had been since the night before. I told the front desk we would just tough it out since we were leaving early in the morning anyway. We were very ready to go. There used to be swans in the fountain at the base of the elevators, they're gone. They also used to have complimentary lemon water in a glass dispenser on the table next to the elevator. There was a tool box there and I never saw any service truck or person working on the elevator or there for the air conditioning. It was a very disappointing stay. Reading some of the other reviews (I wish I had read them before booking) it seems like things have really fallen apart at this hotel. It's very disappointing. read more

Outdated, dark and dank. This place needs to be condemned. If I were anyone, i would just stay at Hyatt place next door. It's newer and feels fresher and cleaner. Really spiraled downward since last review 5 years ago. Very worn and desperately in need of a refresh. The room door fronts had just been painted when we checked in, but I don't think that's going to do the trick. It's still an Embassy Suites, so you know the layout. Nice to have fridge and separate living from bed. Decent bar and hot breakfast. Enough power plugs around the room, but don't expect any usb plugs (don't think they'd been invented when the room was last updated). Bed sags, hurts back, slightest move disturbs wife, pillows sad. Reasonably dark, and the a/c can be put fairly cool. Sharp metal sticking out of the coach, which has lived out its useful life as a pull out sofa. Pretty uncomfortable seating. When I see a complete renovation is done, I'll put back on the list. But until then... read more

Ok, so here's my safe harbor disclaimer. Yes I stayed four nights here. No I didn't check in once-kind of a safety/travel issue. First time to Austin on actual business. Was here once before for a conference downtown but this time was for honest to goodness, GSD. The firm recommended this location as another consultant was staying there, close to the client and in a really cool part of the city. Completely agree! Lots going on in this neck of the woods. Great shopping and dining close by and excellent freeway access. Downtown was less than 20 minutes away. As most know, Embassy Suites is part of the Hilton family of hotels. My entire stay was very impressive. The check-in process was smooth and polite and the amenities on-site are excellent. Made-to-order breakfasts and after work Happy Hours don't skip on the offerings. The gym is adequate, it's little small but has a great selection of dumbbells and medicine balls to go with a couple of treadmills, elliptical, and a recumbent bike. The room was excellent. Very clean and it featured the Pure filtration system for both air and water (shower). I have no idea how helpful this is but it's a nice touch. Bed was super comfortable and the work areas were set up nicely. This is a five star Yelp hotel. Definitely worth staying at. So why four stars? The beautiful Royal Swans in the lobby broke my heart. Named Butch and Sundance by the staff, each room contains a placard describing them and how the "concerned" staff takes care of these muted Swans-which is partially true. They are muted and endangered in some parts of the world but not so much in North America where the population has grown exponentially over the last 20 years and have been removed from protected status. Would love to see these beautiful creatures shown some humanity and either placed in the wild or a park to enjoy their lives. You could easily rotate some ducks in and out to utilize the small waterway that graces the lobby. Food for thought, you have a wonderful hotel and a great opportunity to give these Loves some fresh air and tall grass to enjoy. read more

Looks nice from the outside but inside it's old and dated. Neither phone in my room worked (I wanted to call the front desk). There is no open restaurant in the evenings. You can get a pizza From the bar but that's pretty much it. The bar area is real small and two tiny TVs. The bartender was super nice tho. Breakfast was meh. Looong line for the fresh cooked food. Very nice and they had breakfast provided but I don't like it and drinks with free white card. Wifi is very good. But elevator is kind of slow but it's good also many people talk about Swan I think they already did rid of it. Because I don't see it. Tv is fine because I brought my Xbox one to play. Wall picture seem weird. I went to vending room it's kind of dirty and nothing there. They didn't refill snacks or drinks close to entrance. I would come next time but it's depends on price and hotel need to update new. I saw there's mini bugs eating bread and fruits it's already infected I mean they need to update for cover but ew. I suggest not eat there just get drinks and bring your own food or snacks. Hispanic women work there are very sweet. read more

The location was excellent. However the entire hotel shows clear signs of neglect. There is plastic covering a hole in the ceiling of the lobby. The carpet in the rooms was buckling/rippling in both rooms we stayed in (more on that in a bit). There were 2 instances where there were no face plates on cable outlets, the lamp shades were bent out of shape and dirty and there were hooks in the wall where there should have been pictures but the pictures were removed and the hooks just left behind. So we stayed there for a week and on the second night our AC started making weird noises, like a lawn mower engine, and wasn't blowing any air. I called down to the front desk and they sent up maintenance and the blower fan died. We were told there were no other rooms available that night and i had to insisted on having at least room fans because its Texas and the windows wont open. I was then told the best other they could do was a 30% discount for that one night. We then had to go back and forth about when we could move into a new room the next day. I also failed to mention that we have a 3 year old and a 15 month old baby. I was disappointed in the condition of the property. I will NEVER stay here again. read more

DISGUSTING! Do not stay here. The photos tell the story. I checked in around 8pm after moving all day. Woman at the front desk was on the phone, barely acknowledged me, but tossed me the key when I told her last name. No ID or credit card check. My husband and I were exhausted so just showered and went to bed, without unpacking or looking at the room. By the light of day, reality hit. The cabinets on the bar were hanging off, the sink didn't work, there were crumbs on the ottoman, and the whole room was generally dirty. However, the absolute worst was the BLACK MOLD FILTH spewing from air vents in both the bedroom and living area. Absolutely disgusting and a major health hazard. I emailed Hilton with these photos before posting online but 10 days later and I've still had no response. Really disappointed, Hilton. read more

We stayed here for 3 days/2 nights. When we checked in we noticed there was a sign at front desk about the city wide water issue and not to drink the water/put in mouth, without boiling for two minutes first. No one at the front desk told us about this. I was waiting for them to tell us- as a safety issue, but nothing. I then asked about it and they said don't drink the water. On the bottom of the sign it says to ask for bottled water in your room, and we did and he gave us one bottle each. The hotel should take more initiative of telling guest about this issue and having water in rooms already. Maybe giving 2 bottles per person, one bottle was strictly fruit brushing our teeth. In the middle of the night I wanted water so badly but couldn't walk down to desk to get one in my pjs. We were on the second floor. A two bed/1room suite, with a pull out couch. There is a constant buzzing that both of us hear. I heard it in the bedroom last night and said I would sleep on the sofa bed tonight. (This sofa bed is so uncomfortable/thin... i am actually looking forward to sleeping on the plane tomorrow!) Well I still hear buzz even In the front room! I've narrowed it down to NOT being the air conditioner or fridge. I have no clue where it is coming from. The happy hour tickets were nice- make sure you book the correct room/price for those. A family member, who booked another room, got 8 tickets and she was the only one in the room- so we all went and got drinks (on her) and that was a nice surprise. We didn't get any happy hour tickets. My family took advantage of the free breakfast and said they got eggs, and potatoes (not so good), but there was no water/juices because of the water advisory issue. (Due to food allergies, I don't go to continental breakfast because I normally can't eat anything). Location- location was great to where we needed to go while in town. If you are visiting, the freeways here are tricky, listen to gps closely. Will we stay here again? Possibly, depending on the price range. I would also bring earplugs and purchase water bottles at the store. FYI- soda bottles in the lobby store were $3.25 ! We are used to the $1.99 at gas stations and were shocked at this pricing! read more
