The room was ok the staff at the front desk were rude and hung up on me multiple times but the hotel was fine.

I have always liked the Embassy suites. The hotel is very nice. The front desk staff was very accommodating. i was given a smoking room by mistake and it was taken care of either no problem. They have done a great job of updating the rooms. As always they are two room suites with a very large tv in the living room and another well sized tv in the bedroom. They have power strips to charge anything you need. Wifi is very good throughout. They even have a wireless charger next to the bed. And as always they have a complimentary cocktails and cooked to order breakfast.

The rooms are dated and in need of some major repairs. The furniture is falling apart, the beds are horrible. The pillows are defiantly in need of being replaced. For the price that is being charged, I don't feel this is a good value. I am used to a higher standard with Hilton Properties.

    Ants on the 7th floor

Hotel is in a convenient area but is quite dated. There are stains in the floor and we had an ant infestation when I had an open soda on the bedside table. Ants on the 7th floor? Wow.. The pool was good but always super busy and we had to go to the front desk to request towels. They were out and gave us hand towels to dry off with. Also, there is a $10 a day parking fee.. what the actual H? If I pay for the hotel which is nowhere near a mad transit area, making me pay to park is insulting. I wouldn't stay here again.

    Disgusting

We expected so much more out of an Embassy Suites. We're a family of 4 traveling with two small children, which was noted in our reservation. We did receive the room we requested but it had only two towels, two hand towels and one hand drying towel. Our oldest sleeps on the pull out sofas (which we won't allow now per the picture below) when we travel so we expected to have the extra sheets, blankets and pillows in the closet -which has always been standard. There were none, but no biggie, we called the front desk and they said "we'll add you to the list but it could be 45 minutes". Finally received them after 2 hours .....upon entering the bathroom there are black hairs in the tub. The corners of the room have not been swept in who knows how long. The backs of the chairs are splattered with god knows what. This is unacceptable-I would expect this from a Days Inn, not an Embassy suites. I do not recommend this hotel if you want a clean room.

Checked in after taking an overnight flight that got delayed, stopping over for 3 hours in NYC, driving from the airport to our destination, then driving for an additional 5 hours, wiped everything down with Clorox wipes per usual, (the dining table and coffee tables were both sticky) and was ready to crawl into bed when we pulled back the covers and found stains on the crinkled sheets. Disgusting. Yanked everything off the bed, stripped pillowcases too, and called downstairs for replacement bedding. The phones were both broken. Yup you read that right. Phones as in plural. Both the one in the bedroom next to the bed and the one in the living room on an end table were both non-operational. Nothing more than utterly useless decorations. Because their phones were broken, husband had to go downstairs to the front desk to request that housekeeping bring us extra sheets so we could fix our bed. Yes, you read that right. FIX OUR OWN BED. We are paying customers but we just wanted to get new bed linens so we could go to sleep and we didn't want to make a big deal out of it. They said they would send someone. An hour passed and no one came. Husband went downstairs AGAIN. By this time I had been up for 38 hours straight and he had been up for about 34 and just drove for 5 hours. We were exhausted. Again they said someone would bring up sheets and pillowcases and blankets. They went in the back gave him some random linens and told him they would see if they could find more and send someone up. No one came. We opened the bed linens. THEY WERE SO SMALL! Sheets were for a double bed, not for the King bed that was in our bedroom. Husband went downstairs to ask them yet again. The people who were at the counter were no longer there, so he had to explain himself once again to an inept and surly man at the counter. Husband told the man at the counter our situation. After a while, man said he would get husband new sheets. He disappeared in the back and came out with another stack of linens and said he already called someone to send up sheets. NO ONE CAME, mind you. Hubby comes back upstairs-- reminder that we are both EX-HAUST-ED! We open the linens and... they were the WRONG SIZE. YES, AGAIN. Husband is pissed, goes out the door to head back downstairs to tell the unfriendly man at the desk that he gave him the WRONG SHEETS AGAIN and SECURITY shows up with sheets in his hand. I don't want to sound like a broken record but yes, IT WAS THE WRONG SIZE SHEETS. AGAIN. I started looking for another place to stay at this point, while husband goes back downstairs and asks them for the RIGHT SIZE SHEETS. This was all in a time span of about three hours. We just wanted to SLEEP. The man downstairs goes through the linen area and hands husband more linens. Thank goodness the stupid sheets fit that time. We both made the bed, took a shower and passed out. Woke up, spoke to someone at the front desk who said she would relay our complaint to the manager, and assured us that they manager would contact us shortly. Although the woman at the front desk was very nice, THE MANAGER DID NOT CONTACT US to hear about our experience. If you decide to stay here, I really hope your experience is better than ours because, man. It was sad. And we had such high hopes too.

Stayed here for a hockey camp June 2022. Overall the stay was good. Not great. This is a great hotel for sports families. Large two room suites, complimentary happy hour, close location to Sports Ohio and a great gathering area. These points must be well known given how busy the hotel is. The lobby area was always busy with multiple gatherings well into the night that you could hear echo upwards. Luckily we all slept well and the noise didn't bother us too badly. Good beds and a plentiful breakfast buffet. But sadly broken elevators, ice machines and insufficient air conditioning (it cooled the room but could've been colder) brought down my rating.

I'm not sure how many rooms are in this hotel. It's massive. There are 8 floors and all rooms surrounding a center court with seating down below. The breakfast is included with omelet station. There's a bar in the center court and plenty of seating for special events. 2 conference rooms for special events, weddings etc. The hotel rooms are along aisleways, and so you have a window from the living room that looks out onto your aisleway. This does not impede your ability to sleep. The suites have a massive screen TV and another TV in the bedroom. Each suite has a microwave, fridge, furniture, bar area, kitchenette, and then a separate bedroom with a dresser and desk. Pump soap and shampoo provided on shower wall. Each room has central heating and cooling. There is natural white noise throughout the hotel to help you sleep well and darkening shades. It's very clean and windowy. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in!

But the suites at this Residence Inn don't just have kitchenettes -- they have full kitchens! In the hotel room, there's a refrigerator and freezer, a stove with an oven, a sink, dishes and silverware, and lots of storage for your food. The room also has a two-person bar table just off the kitchen, so there's somewhere to sit and eat. Having a kitchen and table in our room made our stay just that much more enjoyable. We stayed in a room with a king bed, but there were four of us so two of us slept on the pull-out couch bed. Both beds were comfortable, and they give you extra linens and blankets for the pull-out, and you can request more if that's not enough. This hotel has an indoor pool that's pretty large, and the water was warm. The gym, which is right by the pool, is kind of small, so you might want to get there early so you can work out by yourself. There is also an outdoor basketball court around the side of the hotel. Just ask the people behind the desk for a basketball if you didn't bring one with you! The only downside to our stay was that housekeeping will not service your room unless you're staying for a week or more. So each day, we had to leave our own trash bags outside of our hotel room for the staff to eventually pick up. We also had to do the same with our wet/dirty towels, and then request clean towels at the front desk each day. It was kind of a drag. Apparently, this is the new standard with hotels since the pandemic, so I kind of expected to do my own room service. It just puts a downer on the trip, and I wish they would reinstate room service again as a standard.

I was in town for two meetings in the Dublin area and I selected the TownePlace Suites as the hotel opened in 2021. They accommodated me for an early check-in, but I didn't feel like my Bonvoy status was recognized. No upgraded room was offered. This hotel has an awesome workout room, plus an indoor pool and laundry. Not sure why a room with two Queen beds is priced less than a single King, but that's what I selected. Everything was clean and the bed was comfy. I just wished the pillows were firmer. My room had a glass shower, but I don't understand why the glass covers only half the shower. Inevitably you're spraying water out onto the floor. I was also surprised how noisy the room can be when someone is walking on the floor above your room. Like the Residence Inn, they had a complete breakfast buffet and the personal pancake maker. The Dublin property was a great stay.

We returned to our room Monday July 14th at approximately 9:30 pm. Like the day prior it appeared no one cleaned the room. I went into the restroom to prepare for bed and noticed an item on the bathroom sink. The item was a used BLOODY TAMPON stuck inside the wrapper of the new tampon. I'm assuming it was left there by the cleaning staff that entered my room but didn't clean it. The hotel front desk was notified and I requested he come to the room. He did so and we went to the front desk to resolve the issue. Not once did he offer a new room and when we asked who was going to clean / sanitize the bathroom, the attendant stated it was NOT HIS JOB!!! He also said, the cleaning staff would not be in until the following morning. I requested he give me the GM's number so I could call him. The attendant refused to provide the number so I requested he call the GM to resolve the issue in which he promptly refused. My son got justifiably upset and the attendant threatened to CALL THE POLICE and THROW US OUT of the hotel. I called Marriott and filed a complaint. Marriott asked for the attendant's name which he failed to provide and was not wearing a name tag. Finally, I demanded a new room which they provided but at the expense of a good night's sleep. Tuesday morning, Paul the GM said, he would contact me by Wednesday evening, this would give them time to investigate the incident and stated we'll make it right. It's been a week and I have not been contacted by Paul or Marriott. Paul appears to have been trained by Salma the former GM. Read the other reviews (Francis B. Mar 2, 2022) that talk about cleanliness and how they were treated by hotel staff, they push back. Nothing has changed at this property. To add insult to injury they comped a friend staying there that I called to witness the item in my room and the behavior of the front desk attendant. I would have rated the hotel even lower if it was an option. Extremely disappointed in Marriott.

ORC § 3731.13 states "All bedding used in any hotel must be thoroughly aired, disinfected, and kept clean. No bedding which is infested with vermin or bedbugs shall be used on any bed in any hotel. All floors, carpets and equipment in hotels, and all walls and ceilings shall be kept in sanitary condition". ORC § 3781.06 states "Any building that may be used as a palace of resort [...] dwelling [...] shall be so constructed, erected, equipped, and maintained that they shall be safe and sanitary for their intended use and occupancy." ORC § 3781.06(8) further elaborates that "'Sanitary,' with respect to a building, means it is free from danger or hazard to the health of persons occupying or frequenting it or to that of the public, if such danger arises from the method or materials of its construction or from any equipment installed therein, for the purpose of lighting, heating, ventilating, or plumbing". I stayed for two sleepless nights in this hotel before booking an early return flight due to the severely debilitating health effects of toxic mold poisoning. In the two nights I have stayed in this hotel, I have experienced the following symptoms of mold toxicity/poisoning as listed by Cleveland Clinic under "What are the symptoms of black mold exposure?" - Sneezing - Coughing - Nasal congestion - Postnasal drip - Red eyes - Wheezing - Shortness of breath (dyspnea) - Dry cough and chest tightness Government publication "Mold and Your Health" by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences states "The World Health Organization, National Academy of Medicine, and National Toxicology Program (NTP) all confirm that occupants of damp, moldy buildings have an increased chance of respiratory problems, such as shortness of breath and worsening asthma [...] Extended exposure to mold has been linked to short-term memory loss, lightheadedness, dizziness, blurred vision, tinnitus, and loss of other cognitive functions [...] Long term exposure to inhaled mycotoxins may promote inflammation and immune system changes." Home2 Suites by Hilton, Dublin OH repeatedly confirms awareness of having violated legally binding sanitation codes and engages in negligence at the unfair expense of the consumer's health.
