We had a wonderful stay here for a regional Fast Start meeting. The checkin experience was quick, friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean, spacious and stylish. Love that there isn't carpet. Carpet always grosses me out at hotels. The service to our meeting room was good. The best part about this location is its location in the lively Bridge Park area where there are so many great restaurants to choose from. All of them are within walking distance. Tip: Be sure to eat at Kitchen Social. Great service and excellent meal. Everyone in our group absolutely loved this place. read more

We had such a wonderful stay and experience here for our wedding last month. The staff here is so kind and the sales manager was very communicative with the room block and accomodations. The location could not have been beat though - we had one event next door at the exchange and the walkability was UNBEATABLE. As was the proximity to the other bars in the area for our after party. We loved this hotel and the view from our corner rooms was beautiful. read more

Overall, we had a good stay. The room was clean and well maintained, which made our visit comfortable. The hotel is dog-friendly, which we appreciated, although walking a dog can be a bit challenging since the surrounding area is mostly concrete. There are several good restaurants nearby, making it easy to find dining options. Breakfast is not included with the stay, but complimentary coffee is available. We booked a weekend at the AC Hotel Columbus Dublin and although the hotel is very nice, the location is terrible if you want to go to sleep before 2:00 am. Our room is facing the Roosevelt bar across the street and if you don't mind LOUD boom box banging all night, stay there. I for one want to sleep before 2:00 am. When I called down to the desk to ask how long they placed what sounds like banging drums, they said it's out of their control. They better make it their control if they want people to stay at this establishment. read more

It is a great location! Within walking distance of Bridgepark restaurants and shops etc. There is free parking across street and just overall a good location and stay! Friendly staff, accommodating and shout out to April who works behind the AC lounge for getting me a cup of coffee! Vaso is the rooftop bar/restaurant, the AC lounge is just a lounge and there is a limited breakfast available in the morning ($15 dollars) but with complimentary coffee! All these places are located within the hotel and have limited hrs, so make sure you check before the you go. The room was relatively clean, expected it to be a little cleaner and there was a stain on the mattress. But overall the hotel was very clean! A nice little perk is the lavender to take back to your room at night! I would stay here again when in the area! read more

By far the nicest hotel in Dublin. The hotel seems new, is exceptionally clean, and is quiet. I slept just as well here as I do at home which isn't the norm for me at hotels. It is very well designed and has an upscale feel to it. The location is great with many restaurants within easy walking distance. The only item I would change is the food isn't great here. The breakfast restaurant (albeit very affordable for a hotel) seemed to over-salt food but there are plenty of options in the area for alternative dining. The rooftop bar, Vasso, has a nice view of the river and has a nice ambience. I suggest deferring to the waiters on food to order (the pierogi was great, the ceviche was awful). The other item to flag is that there are a TON of taxes and fees attached to the base rate- 7 additional line items (approx $38 extra per night for my stay). read more

Post vaccine, my gal friends and I decided to do a girl's overnight and decided to do somewhere close to home (for logistical purposes) and a location that has some bars close by. I live in the Short North, so wanted somewhere to "travel" to. We booked this hotel directly on their website and got an incredible rate- about $140 after taxes. Everything about the experience was easy; we were able to check in and out on my phone; everything was cleanly and spaced out; and though we had little interaction with the staff, everyone was friendly and adhered to the CDC guidelines. Our room was jazzy with a "view"- this may be snarky, but the River from that height does kind of just look like a dirt road. The room was also immaculate and trendy. The only gripe is that the beds were kind of small and felt more form over function. Overall, this made for a great setting for our girl's night! We are already planning on going back! read more

This place is rated as 3*. I would say 3 is barely there. The lobby is the best part. Gym has 5-6 cardios. Rooms are very basic. The front desk was not nice. I asked for the high floor, and got 2nd right in -front of elevator. Requested another room, and got one overlooking the garage. They told me to be higher, I had to wait past 3 pm. The AC is not efficient. It is very cold, and the thermostat is at 73, but the room feels as below 70. The bathroom is of molded plastic. The only positive -it is clean. But I would never stay here again. read more

Flew in to Columbus for business and we stayed at the AC Hotel by Marriott. The hotel is very clean and the staff was incredible. From the time you check in, you are treated with respect and courtesy. I like the fact that the hotel front desk person acknowledged me as soon as I walked in. My check in was quick and seamless. After the elevator ride to the 4th floor, was impressed with a beautiful room with a modern decor. I loved the view and noticed they had vegetation growing on various parts of the roof to add to the green; it was very pleasant and looked nice. The bathrooms are spotless and I loved my overhead shower, now I want one for home. The thermostat worked well and it was simple to always keep my room at a great temperature. The room was quiet and the mattress was like sleeping on clouds. The parking for the hotel is right across the hotel and easy to get to. Even in the rain, your walk to your car is minimal. It was a great experience traveling to Columbus and if I were to return, this would be my go to spot. read more

This will be a progressive review because so far I'm totally unimpressed, and can't resist starting early. We've had reservations here for 8 months. We remotely checked in to ensure a room would be ready, and the check in indicated all was good. We arrive, and of course the room is not ready, one hour. Can't go to the restaurant or bar because they don't open until 4:00.... King size room with pull-out sofa, yet two drawers to store clothes in.....but hey, we have a 12 foot long bench for sitting, so I guess you can always lay all the clothes out the for easy access. The 2 drawers we do have plus the fridge are in the way of the door, so no multi-tasking allowed in this room! read more

This was my first time staying at an AC Hotel and it won't be my last. If you're looking for a brand new, value-priced hotel in Dublin, stay at the AC. There are only 150 rooms so you get the feel of a small hotel but all the benefits of being part of the Marriott hotel family. The staff is amazing, very friendly, and accommodating. The first time I had breakfast, my server addressed me by name. I hadn't given him my name nor room number. That says volumes about the service. The hotel is located in the Bridge Park area (a newly developed area) that features a brewery, ramen place, and several other soon to open restaurants and shops. Historic Dublin is a short walk across the bridge. The rooms are spacious, simple, European design with leather couches and headboards. Every object in the room has a purpose - there's not wasted space, design, or items. There's plenty of outlets and charging stations so you don't have to unplug any lights or clocks as you do in some other hotels. Food and drink prices are very reasonable. The $15 continental breakfast with a choice of 1 of 2 hot egg entrees is a good value. Other hotels charge upwards of $25 to $36 for a continental breakfast without a hotel dish. The VASO lounge has great views and the food drinks are phenomenal. Looking forward to coming back and staying here again. read more

My husband and I stayed for our wedding night and it was a rough experience. You could hear the night club all night making it virtually impossible to fall asleep. The towels felt cheap and scratchy. Also, the price was not as advertised. They added on a bunch of taxes and whatnot that ended up adding about an extra $100 to our bill (I've stayed at many hotels, and I've never run into an advertised price where tax isn't included). The breakfast was not complimentary...it was $15 a person and mediocre at best. We've had complimentary breakfasts that far exceeded the food we received. The aesthetic was nice, the front desk workers were friendly and helpful, the beds appeared to be clean, and the shower worked. Other than that, everything else was very subpar. We've had much nicer stays at cheaper hotels. Unless you're looking for to go clubbing all night, I would recommend staying elsewhere. read more

Love the AC brand and love being a Marriott member. Was in town for the night and had made a reservation downtown at another Marriott property. Loved Dublin and popped in just to inquire if you can ever cancel a reservation at a sister hotel and switch as we wanted to possibly stay here. The first young lady was so kind and was sorry to tell us she did not think so but her manager Michele next to her may know better. Michele proceeded to stare at her phone the entire time I talked, literally did not look up one time. Gave me an answer while staring at her phone. I've been treated better at McDonald's. Though we couldn't stay this visit at this hotel I would not book here in the future on principle alone. Was a terrible representation of the Marriott brand and management within any company. read more

2nd time staying here and I'm excited to see what the next several months bring. I have stayed the past few years at the sister hotel in Liberty Center and love it. I saw this opened a a couple months ago and tried it out. This time around I can see various improvements like the roof top bar now open. This place is great enough, but the bar has been raised (pun intended). What a neat atmosphere with open air bar and heated for the cooler months. Breakfast is like no other hotel with quiche, prosciutto, and chia pudding w/apricot purée. ($15 all you can eat). The rooms are awesome and comfortable. Great views of the river if your on that side of the building. Walking distance to local restaurants (only a few now, but several being built). I can see this place in the summer of 2018 being someplace special. Can't wait to see how this all comes together. Be patient if staying here as there is construction on. UPDATE: Dropped in for a stay. Very happy to see the location is doing well and surrounding area is growing. AC Hotels is still one of my favorite hotels. read more

Its walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. I traveled during Covid and felt safe and everything was thoroughly cleaned. This hotel has a lot of great things about it: it's beautiful and modern, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, it's in a great location, and it has a nice gym. Unfortunately, the hotel is extremely loud and the noise can be heard in the rooms (at least some the rooms). We stayed in the suite on the seventh floor and could hear music thumping from the rooftop bar late into the night. In fact, one night during our stay, members of the OSU marching band showed up at the rooftop bar at 10pm and played for about 20 minutes, which wasn't ideal considering that our infant was trying to sleep. Other nights I heard music thumping until 1am. The rooftop bar is a great feature, but unfortunately the hotel wasn't designed to keep the noise from bleeding into the rooms. The hotel has white noise machines in the rooms, but they don't do much to drown out the noise from the bar. Honestly, I've stayed in hotels in Vegas that are much quieter than this one. I don't recommend this hotel if you need to relax or sleep during your stay. read more

Nice new hotel in a great location! AC Hotel has a nice contemporary feel with a bar in the lobby and a bar/restaurant on the roof. The hotel is very clean and different. The rooftop restaurant is a unique dining experience (with igloos) and they serve a variety of tapas. The hotel itself is within walking distance to a several restaurants, bars, and entertainment. When ordering a Lyft or an Uber you might want to mention the entrance of AC is behind the building, we had 3 drivers decline our ride because they couldn't find the entrance. read more

Great variety of restaurants a short walk away - Mexican, brew pub, ramen. The trendy music plays way too loudly - kind of a wanna be W hotel atmosphere. my wife and I booked a room for a getaway weekend. This was our first time staying at a AC hotel. Hotel is beautiful, great location,and great staff. The parking is not that convenient but overall a great place. unfortunately my last impression will be and why I gave it a 2 rating was once were woke up on the last day and decided to have breakfast and thought I would save money and have some what I thought was included Continental breakfast. To my dismay it wasn't free. The food was subpar, few selections and cold. My wife had a yogurt and some fruit for 15 dollar. With gratuity it was a 40 dollar breakfast. I would advise hotel staff to let guest know this before there bill comes to the table. There's no doubt I would have never decided to eat at hotel or this food that was offered knowing it wasn't part of my room fee. read more

We reserved a block of rooms for my daughter's wedding in April, 2022. We were so happy with the rooms and staff. The hotel and rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff was absolutely fantastic. They were very friendly and helped us with several small issues (issues on our end-not related to the hotel). I could not have been more pleased. We held a Welcome Party in the rooftop restaurant, Vaso. It was amazing. The food was delicious and again the staff was amazing! I booked this hotel for one night and I found out that they haven't even been open for a year yet. I was excited for my stay. The staff was really nice upon checking in and my room was clean and elegantly set up. I had a really nice river view and I was incredibly excited about my stay here - I love traveling and I love Hotel rooms, I am one of the few ones. I came in around 3pm and ventured into Dublin, checking out the neighborhood. I decided to go upstairs to Vaso for dinner. A rooftop restaurant on top of the AC Hotel. I enjoyed dinner and the view of the sunset. I came back to my around around 9:30 and looking forward to a shower. It was then, that I realized the water wasn't getting hot. I called the front desk and was FINALLY informed that the Hotel hasn't had hot water since 0800 that morning. However, a gym near by, which is open 24 hours, has said we can use their shower. Or they can put me in a different Hotel. How is it that you know that the hot water wasn't working since 0800 and the Hotel staff does notify a guest upon checkin at 300pm? I even asked that question and she said to me "we were trying to fix it". Even if that was the case, you could let the person know that the hot water is not working and we diligently working to resolve this issue. I could have been prepared and made appropriate decision. Not wait till 0930 pm to get take a shower and head to the gym earlier. I had a morning meeting the next day. If you know what is going, a person can plan a lot better. It was a huge fail on AC Hotel's staff on notifying appropriately and really hindered my stay. I am also handicapped and walking to the gym, even near by, at almost 1000pm is not something I was looking forward to. They provided me a discount on my nightly rate, but I was still fairly disappointed on how this stay was. read more

Beautiful hotel. Absolutely beautiful. Easy to locate - but it is kind of tricky to get to all at once. By that I mean that the hotel is located near a roundabout and if you are not familiar with them it can be kind of tricky getting in the right lane to get to it but I managed! They have free parking which I was stunned by since most hotels these days charge hefty parking fees. You park in a well lit deck just across the street from the hotel itself. You must have a key to use the elevator which is a nice safety feature but would suck if you were having friends meet you at your room. The rooms themselves are exquisite. Very modern and sleek. I loved that I could set the thermostat low and get my room ice cold. With temps soaring the weekend we were there it was so nice to have a cold room to relax in. The beds were extremely comfortable and I slept a great nights sleep. One of our favorite perks was the smart tv so all we had to do was sign into Netflix and feel like home! Kudos Marriott for that gem! I have to say I also loved the gym. We had a great work out Sunday morning. The treadmills were state of the art. There were also plenty of free weights and other equipment for my niece to do a small CrossFit type routine. Ohhhh and one of the coolest finds- the ice machines on each floor have the cool pebble ice! Yum! And they have cafes you can fill with filtered water! A+++ I was bad though y'all! This has always been our go to hotel for staycations. Grandma's in town so we decide to make it a night. The room showed up as booked online, but I called the hotel directly and was informed by the manager that they had one double room left. Cool. When I said that I wanted to book using Gold Elite points, I was informed that he couldn't do that over the phone and I would have to transferred to the reservation line. Still cool. I was transferred to a reservation specialist who clicked around and gave some convoluted reason I still don't understand about why she couldn't book the room using points. I call back to the AC and speak to the same manager who informs me that now the room is no longer available. Is it too much to ask people to be genuinely apologetic? I feel like they were simply trying to save the room for someone who will pay cash and that doesn't feel good at all. My husband travels for business monthly. He racks up thousands in hotel bills and has stayed at Marriott and only Marriott hotels for the past seven years. And you can't figure out how to comp a room for a guest staying one night when one is available? Honestly thank God for Airbnb. I hope it puts the hotel industry out of business. Customer loyalty doesn't even get you a faux apology these days. read more

First time in Columbus for a wedding and I never thought I'd say this but because of this hotel, I love Ohio!!! Like wow what a convenient, clean, and just overall nice place to stay. The parking was as convenient as it gets and free. The rooms were absolutely immaculate. The rooftop bar is stunning. And the breakfast SPREAD that this hotel provides, was 5 stars. This hotel was just ok to me. Beds were comfy and rooms were very clean, but the hotel lacked service in a big way. There is no room service, no food available at all in the hotel between 11am-4pm. There are a couple restaurants with bar type food not too far from the hotel, but that is just not as convenient to me and there were no options that fit what I typically eat. So we had to drive to find reasonably healthy mid-day food. There also is not very much to do in Dublin, so I found that everything was quite a long drive away. I will say the rooftop bar/restaurant was really pretty and really good for dinner/drinks. Service was a bit slow for my liking though. At times, we had to actually get up and find a waiter. All in all, I think there are other choices that better suit my travel needs personally. However, I would recommend this hotel if you don't care too much about service amenities and distance from attractions or city center. Very classy and upscale I would say, and if I could give 6 stars of this hotel and 6 stars on the amazing service I received from the staff, ex specially Shay and Terrance, these two right here went over and beyond great customer service, they have set the standards very high for others to follow. Very nice, clean updated rooms. I almost always forget my phone charging adapter and have to leave it plugged into the computer nightly, they have plenty of USB charging ports throughout the room which is great. Parking garage is easily accessible to hotel and plenty of room to park an F150. Staff is very well trained and pleasant. Would've gave it 5 stars but $15 for breakfast was a little steep for me. They did allow me to get coffee which is much better than the courtyard / Starbucks deal. Excellent hotel, will be my regular location if prices remain reasonable. read more

She showed us various rooms to ensure we were comfortable and took us around to areas of the hotel which were just as equally amazing! Did you know they sell candles of the same exact AC scent??
